Godhood (The End is Where the Start is)
Xx The Details xX
Xx The Details xX
Godhood takes place in a parallel universe, all the town names are the same, as are the religions and the events.
The only difference is, this universe is not only parallel, but contains a series of islands, hidden beyond the reach of the most powerful telescopes. These islands are connected to earth by invisible networks, these networks pick up the souls of people who have died, and channel them to the main island (The Celestial Isle), which is the equivalent of Heaven. Here, the gods of life will judge an individual on whether they can go into heaven with a perfect souls, or enter with a labelled sin which they must avoid for 150 years before coming clean. Those who have done terrible deeds are sent to nebulas, like the Eagle or Spider to harvest ‘star dust’, a powerful drug that increases the power of the gods who dwell on these islands.
Recently, the islands have become plagued by war, waged by false powers rising from the new beliefs of humans. These powers are strong, but unlike the original gods, they do no have a heaven, and so if they take over, all humans will go to hell or cease to exist at all.
The Sovereign has raised an army to fight against these ‘New Divine’. The New Divine do not have an army, but they are powerful, and have no imagination or even an understanding that they even exist. They just do things without thinking. The Imperial Sovereign Army’s power had caused a stalemate between the powers, and everybody knows that something has to give sooner or later.
The series of Godhood is in reverse order in turn of events, so the war comes first but is last, and the story of the Sovereign is last but comes first when it comes down to the order of events.

~Characters~
* Hierarchy *
* Hierarchy *
Sovereign Asgard Song: The ninth ruler of reality, Asgard is a very secluded character and finds it hard to balance his rank as Sovereign with his family life. He cannot let the title go, since he was the youngest child of the last Sovereign, and the cycle of rulers cannot be broken even if he tried. He has the power of the electromagnetic spectrum as his natural God Authority, and also has the power of shock waves and some nature-based Skills due to killing the former gods who controlled these Authorities, and broke their souls.
Gods can take other gods powers if they kill them, Asgard was hesitant to do so, but did anyway because he knew the gods would have stabbed him in the back -quite literally- if he walked away.
Asgard is powerful and he knows it, he is very enigmatic outside the San Palace, and is known for his love of fine arts, like literature and painting, although lacks any talent for writing literature. He can act well, and lacks severely at ‘manly’ jobs, such as mechanics and electronics. He is useless with technology, but handles a gun well. His default weapon is his God Authority, and is usually a ranged fighter and backs up his wife when she is in the field in close combat gun fighting.
Matriarch Cairo Song nee De Centa: The partner and wife of the Sovereign, Cairo Song excels in some areas that Asgard suffers in, she can fix cars and can write perfect literature. She also shares his love of art. She was once an immortal human, but became a goddess upon Toyotama’s sacrifice, since an immoral human can become a goddess if another goddess sacrifices her life. She is strong willed and stubborn, and is often seen as the man of San Palace, since she is most knowledgeable in warfare. She trained at Azure Barracks, a women-only training camp, and excelled with distinction. Her Azure name is Goldfinch, due to her hair colour.
Her skill is firearm morphing, and can turn any gun into another type of firearm, she could turn a pistol into an anti-tank missile launcher, but she seems to prefer her Goldfinch Azure guns (which are unaffected by her Skill). The guns are self-proclaimed as vertical double barrelled revolver pistols, which hold 36 bullets in one magazine, due to the size and capacity of one launching cartridge. The are break-top, with two triggers each. She is the main fighter of the series and is often mistaken for being childless, even though she has two pairs of twins.
Mayra and Allison Song: Mayra and Allison are the eldest pair of Asgard and Cairo Song, they are more commonly known as the Wolf Witches by admirers or the Whores of Babylon by haters. They both specialise in the Skill of Wind, Mayra controlling cold wind and Allison controlling warm wind. They never leave each others side, and are knows for their ability to combine their God Authorities to create hurricanes. The rule over the skies of the battle field, and are very cheeky. They are like their mother, naturally good with firearms, although they don’t seem to have the patience to re-load them without cursing.
They spend most of their time wandering the Celestial Isle, but are known to travel to other places too. They enjoy teasing people and are very dominant, although the eldest, Mayra, seems to be more in charge than Allison. They both have a wicked tongue and are part time free-lance journalists in their spare time.
Gabrielle and Rebecca Song: Gabrielle and Rebecca are the youngest pair of Asgard and Cairo, they are secluded and hardily talk to each other, unlike Mayra and Allison. Gabrielle is an up-and-coming artist, and mainly paints landscapes which sell for decent prices. Rebecca spends her days in San Palace, learning to fight from her mother and learning to handle the side affects of God Authority from her father. She doesn’t have much of a hobby beside from learning for fight, beside from reading a few books or checking up on her sisters to see how they are doing.
Gabrielle and Rebecca are laid back in general, they don’t poke their noses into other peoples business if they don’t have to, but if the start talking, they never stop. This annoys many people, but Asgard and Cairo have learnt to live with mindless chatter which leads no-where.
The Council: The rest of the gods attend and monthly council, in which just about every conceivable problem and idea is reviewed, discussed and queried. The high ranking families are called the 1st Circle, then come the middle families, the 2nd Circle, and the lesser and larger families, the 3rd Circle. The families stand for a skill, the bigger the family, the more common the skill, therefore they are less privileged than rare skills such as Solar and Psyche.
Some of the gods include:
Tsukyomi
Inari
Benzaiten
Ryujin
Tenji
