WANTED: Friend and Eventual Love Interest

Because, for once, I can’t stand the thought of my character’s issues never being resolved. And because I love Cobalt.
Benjamin David Rhodes
(aka: Ben)
Age: 40
PB: Patrick Wilson (only barely negotiable, but if you want someone else, I’m flexible)
Power: either non-powered or a relatively mild and/or useless power
Personality: Ben is very laid-back and mild-mannered, the kind of guy who doesn’t draw a whole lot of attention to himself. He’s patient (and he better be, god help him), very kind, and quietly confident in himself. Ben is gay, and has already come to terms with this fact, and while he’s no flirt, he is at general peace with that part of himself. He’s friendly and polite and enjoys talking to anyone who wants to talk to him. Reliable and intelligent, Ben is one of those people you can go to in a crisis. These are the bare minimums; anything else is open.
Other stuff: Pretty much everything else is up to you. I’d prefer him not to work at Hammel if at all possible, since that would really just make things twice as hard for poor Ben than it needs to be. I’d rather his history not be too tragic or traumatizing, but we can work that out later, as I’m pretty okay with anything as long as the personality stays basically the same. Again, this is only the barest of outlines, everything else is free for the writer.
