Powers: |Telekinesis| Her telekinesis is the root of her other abilities, and any newer abilities she might encounter in the future, her body can transform energy gained into telekinetic energy with slight concentration and focus. Jade's telekinesis allows to move (push, pull, lift) objects and others, not including herself. She has control over this but not as much control as she would like to. Not only does she wear her emotions on her sleeve, her emotions will be the main reason of why her powers might go crazy or do the opposite than what she wanted. She is able to move object up to one thousand pounds but only on a good day with extreme concentration, focus, and using a great majority of her energy. Lifting anything more wouldn't be impossible but would be difficult and would be very harmful to her body and mind.
Note: Also, Jade has to be able to see while using her abilities. If she wasn't able to see anything at all then she might throw the wrong object, or in the wrong direction.
Limits:

Even though she's able to move objects she can't have a heavy object lifted for more than fifteen minutes and even so, it takes her a bit of time to regain her strength. As stated before her limit is only up to two thousand pounds but also has the possibility to three thousand. Though, for her to lift to three thousand, she'd have to go past her limits and the smaller targets have to be at least 15 feet away before they stop working. For heavier objects (ex: queen size bed) , her limit is to 5-9 feet away, any further away then her TK stops working.

General Appearance: (Jade is Filipino and Dominican, so her features are more between the two races) With a height of 5 feet 5 inches and a weight of 150 pounds, Jade's body is pretty slim or she likes to think that her body is pretty slim. Her skin is a very warm beige tone and is complimented by how soft her skin is, since she has passed her puberty years of horrible acne, Jade hasn't seen a single pimple of her face since then but you will see an a few birth marks here and there. Her hair is dark brown, a bit thick and has a bit more volume in it than she wants. It goes pass her shoulders and stops just a bit below her shoulder blades. Her brow are arched even without going to get them done, which always seems to give her face this strong look. Her nose is a bit plump at the bottom but does not compare to the plumpness of her lips. There are times when Jade feels as if there is more attention going on at her nose than there really is, in other words she feels as if it's huge. When looking at her you may think that she pouts her lips a lot but that's not the case, its just how her lips are structured. Jade isn't really happy all that much with her B cup rack because it has gotten her some comments, but she has gotten used to it.
Jade tends to narrow her eyes at a person when she's mad or questioning someone that she obviously doesn't trust, she will also do this when she feels someone isn't trying to play her for a fool right off the bat. She can also raise one eyebrow alone but doesn't see it as a cool trick, instead she has a habit of raising a brow when she's surprised or taken off guard by something, also when she doesn't trust something being said to her. When her attitude flares up or when shes upset, isn't getting her way or is just out right frustrated she will fold her arms or if she was feeling the opposite way like feeling accomplished or knowing that she's ahead of the game in a way, she'll confidently rest her hands on her lips. Jade also tends to pout her lips at random, even more when she's in deep thought.
Jade's favorite color is black so if seen in mostly black tops or dark jeans, that's the reason. She's what you would call a shopaholic and wears the tag proudly. She likes to get her nails done every once and wears different types of rings throughout the month. She's usually dressed in cute casual, or fierce clothes but likes to wear simple casual dresses every now and then. Her love for fashion is so open to different things that one should not be surprised when she shows up in different types of clothing every once in a while.
Personality:
Personality: Outgoing wouldn't be enough to describe Jade's personality but it's close enough. She's the type to never bite her tongue when she has something to say even thought it might get her into some trouble. She's big about sticking to her beliefs and standing up for what she feels. She'd never let you down but also will tell you the truth when you rather not hear it. In a way that makes her a great friend and an even greater enemy. She also has this soulful side to her that just makes her want to mellow out and chill with her buddies. Jade is pretty much a curious cat at night, she likes to discover new things, meet new people and just roam around to find anything else that she can possibly discover. Her personality makes her seem like the leader type just because of the fact that she isn't afraid to do what has to be done. She'll either try to get around or completely destroy an obstacle that's in her way. Jade also understands when it's time to get serious.
When it comes to friends, she isn't too shy around that area. She has a tendency of saying hello to someone especially if she notices that they're having a shitty day. Especially since she has been through hard times, she understand that there will always be someone who needs somebody to listen and if she's chosen for it, she'll listen but she'll also give feedback to help the person out. No matter the reason, Jade will probably do as much as she can to help a friend out and maybe even a stranger out depending on her mood and the reason.
As for enemies, she really isn't bothered by anyone who doesn't like her. If a person has a problem with her, it won't bother her nor will she look their way unless they do their best to push her buttons. If pushed enough and towards the wrong direction, Jade is really a force to be reckoned with. She tries her best not to act out in public but sometimes when things just don't go her way, she'll have to.
Now when it comes to romance Jade is always for being with the one guy who makes her feel comfortable and as long as he allows her to just be her, her heart will always be open to him. Even so, she can get a bit bi-curious at times which has others wondering if she's also into girls. A question that even Jade can't really answer.
Her flaws are plenty, you can give her as many compliments as you would like but there will always be days when she feels not up to par as everyone else or that she thinks her nose is too big or that her lips aren't plump enough, her huge ego might not allow her to show it, but its there. Her intake on rejection is not pretty, she does not like to be rejected and that will show her annoying, inappropriate side that could be seen as a bad thing from others. She tends to not take life as serious on some days, more than others... so being a wild child could turn off a lot of people.

History
Born into a Filipino and Dominican high class family with both parents who were in the military and three older siblings who seemed much more obedient than Jade, Jade has always been the youngest. Since birth she had always been the perfect little princes, the baby, Momma's little angel. It was fun at first around her child years but when she started gaining more of her own personality, it just became annoying... almost so annoying that she went out of her way to ditch school behind their backs, skip a few days of coming home at night and went out to hang with buddies who weren't the BEST example for her. It wasn't that she was trying to go against her parents on purpose, it was just that having family time every damn night and going to long services at church every Sunday just wasn't her thing.
But it wasn't long before her parents realized the rebellion and tried to break her out of this new unnecessary habit of going against their rules. Since her father had been a military Sargent even before their oldest child was born, he decided to enroll her into a discipline school that was taken place in the middle of New Mexico. A good buddy of his was in charge of the program her dad knew he'd always have an eye on her. So, from New York to New Mexico she went and had her parents along side her on the plane ride just to make sure that she didn't go off and take the wrong plane on purpose. Of course, the fourteen year old had already thought of the plan as soon as her dad told her about the great news.
During the trip around 3:38am, the plane had been experiencing a few minor set backs even before they lifted off. Jade could remember hearing the pilot mentioning a few technical difficulties and that they would be landing in Arizona soon to get it looked at. Of course, Jade was half awake and wasn't really pay attention to what was said. She had been deprived of sleep right before they boarded the plane so she had nodded off a few times here and there but was quickly awoken by the time she could feel the plane nose diving out of the sky. The screaming and panicking didn't help one bit but all Jade could do was block her arms in front of her face. It was then that the telekinetic energy around her strongly pushed against the impact of the crash and caused broken bones, fractures, bruises and all but when she woke up the next day, Jade had still been alive... except for her parents.
It wasn't long before Jade realized that the reason why she didn't die was because she had these freakish powers and that she classified as a meta-human, matter fact it had only been a week. It all clear to her, but did it make sense? Not in her eyes. Being contacted instantly by Hammel hadn't made much sense to her, nor did her uncle's intense persuasion for her to go. He was in the military and had been for over twenty-five years, he knew about the School and its branches pretty well, apparently the Institute knew what had to be good for her, and he wasn't going to go against it.

Watching the people from the inside, as they walked past the coffee shop couldn't have been as fun as wanting to help a fellow friend with his studies. Okay so maybe it wouldn't be as fun but hey, Essence was getting pretty damn tired of waiting for Brandon. It's funny how she told him to meet her at 2:30pm just because she knew he wouldn't show up until a half an hour later, and yet... he still wasn't on time. Her hair had been in tight brown long and bouncy curls, and it was the curls itself that laid against the sides of her face, as she wore cute, black geek glasses on her mulatto face. The spring weather allowed her to wear a loose gray shirt that went down past her hips, with tight black cotton leggings underneath that. She wore her casual black pumps with black and silver bracelets on her wrists to match that as well. The girl wasn't always trying to look amazing, it just so happened she knew how to match pretty damn well even when it came to the simple, casual clothing.
Essence started tapping her pen against one of the Algebra books in front of her as she bit her bottom lip. He owed her a damn latte, matter fact... if she decided to go out to the club tonight and JUST SO happened to bump into him again... he'd owe her a damn drink.
Yeap.
Okay so maybe she needed to wait just a tiny bit longer. Besides, she didn't know if he had gotten into some kind of emergency or had certain things to take care of at home. Essence eyed her cell then back towards the windows... that's what text messaging was for. .
