General Appearance:
Skylar was never a tall person. She stands at 5 feet 6 inches and despite her height, is quite lanky. She has tanned skin and few freckles spotting over her nose, which are faint. Her shocking blue eyes light up her face, bringing the attention away from her slightly turned up nose. Her least favourite feature.
She suffered from anorexia as an early teen, a mental illness she had only recently recovered from. She has gained a few pounds and has a few curves here and there, but is still a tiny girl at 93lbs. Her frame had always been small and weed like, and could be called Gangly.
Personality:
Secluding herself from most people is Skylar's worst habit. She had issues with teasing and bullying as a middle schooler, that mentally scarred her so bad she started isolating herself from people, cutting herself off from people. On the inside, Skylar is a very bubbly and happy person. You just have to get past the sad and depressing Skylar to get the good stuff.
She also had a creative side. Skylar has a huge imagination that she puts onto paper, creating whole other worlds in her head. She never lets people see that side of her, unless she trusts them well. The only people she trusts enough are her parents and closest friends.

Skylar was born into a well-off family. She was also born as a twin. Her sister Sophia was the older twin, and Sky listened to everything Sophia said, even if it got her in trouble. They both attended private schools and had holidays in exotic countries around the world, but when Sky was 12, Everything changed.
It was a Hot Summers afternoon, Sky and Sophia were relaxing by the pool talking about how crappy it was going to be when school came back. Sophia was looking forward to Middle school, but Sky Lacked the confidence that Sophia had, so she kept quieter. Sophia went for a dip while Sky left the pool to go and get a drink from the kitchen. Little did Sky know, Her sisters complaining would be the last things she ever heard from her twin.
As Sophia dived in, she had hit her head on the bottom of the pool, thus breaking her neck. Since Sky had been inside at the time, Sophia couldn't do anything to swim, as her whole body went numb. Sky was too late when she got outside, and found her sister face down in her pool, her parents just arriving home from work.
Sky went through years of Counselling, but none of it really helped. She holds herself responsible for her sisters death, and hates herself for it. The pool was taken out soon after Sophia's Funeral, and a memorial was put in the backyard, in a small garden area with a plaque put up with Sophia Queen written on it.
Once Sky got through Middle school, she realised something. When she slept at night, She could peer into her room mates dreams, and if she really wanted to, she could change them. She was fifteen when she realised she had the skill to do it. With practice on her friends, she could give them terrible nightmares, or happy dreams. She could even appear in them when she concentrated enough.
After only a few weeks, it was spring break. Skylar had known about her 'gift' for around two weeks, and on her first night home, Sky received a visit from a strange man. He knew her secret, and she had only told her parents, who didn't believe her one bit. He invited her to an Institute. The Hammel Institute, back then, Skylar cried every night before she left. She arrived when she was fifteen, and is an old student here. She knows most people, but has never really made any attempt to speak with them. Hammel Institute is her home, but she's a stranger to everyone else.
Roleplay Example
Zev already had the pack taking time out of their days, and now he was showing aggression towards them? Brooke raised an eyebrow slightly, looking him over once more. He was probably bringing out the worst to try and make an impression on the pack, but she knew that Parker wouldn't fall for it, he was a strong Alpha, and she admired him for that. But men could only be pushed too far.
Brooke looked to her fellow pack mates. She was good with Raze and the other boys, but Sierra just got to her. She seemed to be putting on a show, acting all innocent. Brooke was completely different like that, She was who she was, and if people couldn't accept it, they could shove it. She was a loveable person, but she had a temper, like all shifters. She was protective over her pack, but she kind of wished she wasn't as such for Sierra. They had a bond, and the only way that bond could be snapped was if they were no longer pack mates, and Brooke wasn't planning on that any time soon.
The tension was high in the air as Zev and Parker shared few words. The intensity of their voices made a shiver run through her body, and she looked back to Zev, tensed and ready for the moment she would be needed if anyone got into a fight. That was why she had worn the shabby clothes today, wouldn't want to wreck her nice attire.
The forest was eerily still as the two spoke. Parker introduced himself and gave the rest of them a choice whether to introduce themselves. Sierra did with a chirp to her voice. She really was putting on a sweet act. The hostile situation was sort of calmed as people began to introduce themselves, it was sort of like a gathering now, not just an interrogation. It was nicer not to have to be all tensed up, so Brooke relaxed her muscles a little, putting on a smile before introducing herself to Zev.
"I'm Brooke. Nice to erm, Meet you."
There was no doubting that it was an awkward moment between them. The pack would all be on edge, or annoyed with the fact that there was a little bickering going on, Brooke thought that this was just going to be a meet and greet, not some show down between him and the pack. If she had known, she might not of shown up. The situation was seeming to look a bit interesting now though, so she decided to stay for the fireworks.
