general info
What do you get when you cross an obsessive compulsive disorder with a robot? You get Norma Louise Bowe of course. While she does have some redeemable qualities, such as… well, at least she is honest about nearly everything. But she has never really had any friends other than her rat and her family, but she is perfectly fine with that. Or at least she is at the moment. She took the job at Hammel because she really just wants kids to skip adolescence altogether and head straight into adulthood.

the allies
First of all, Norma’s friends will probably be few and far between, mainly because of her rather cold demeanor and her outright annoyance when be confronted with a social situation. However, she probably at least has some acquaintances or maybe even one friend or two. She is a hard person to get to know, and she never really learned what to do with friends, heck, she has never really relaxed. But if someone really wanted to, they could probably crack her tough exterior, as long as they could put up with her blunt, and sometimes brutal comments.

the enemies
This is probably where most of the inhabitants of the site will be! Unfortunately, Norma doesn’t like people. She likes to watch them, and to make fun of them. But to actually get to know them… yeah right. She hates kids, people who talk too much and well… just about everyone who tries to make her take it easy. She needs constant structure to her life, and those who throw it out of balance receive her cold glare and nasty words. If anyone wants to thread with someone who will probably treat your character like crap… this is Norma.

the romantics
…Yeah right.
Norma has never been in a relationship, and at the moment she probably never will. But … who knows about the future. She is not sure about anything romantic, other than flirting. But while she can’t tell when someone is flirting with her, she tries to flirt with others. She doesn’t ever mean it, but she believes that it makes her normal, or at least semi-ordinary.

Oooh, Norma sounds so interesting! So I have three characters, although as none of them are students/faculty at Hammel we may have to work a bit to come up with reasons for them to interact.....

First, Ginny. She's the daughter of the head of recruitment. She'll at least sort of understand Norma's OCD because her father suffers from it, as well. Also, she'll respect that Norma is a chemistry teacher. She's a bit sassy and has respect for other people of that ilk (see: Mia and LC, her two closest Hammel friends) so chances are high that she'll like Norma, although I could be wrong and they could just snark at one another.

Josh....Oh, I am pretty sure Norma and Josh would absolutely not get along at all. Josh is loud and scattered and he would find her cold demeanor both perplexing and hurtful. Any thread between them has the potential to be extremely hilarious.

Sakky is my newest, so she is currently threadless. Much like Josh she wouldn't understand Norma. She may try and reach out to the older woman, but if Norma says anything hurtful to baby brother Horus then that will be the end of her attempts at friendship.
