Sawyer had found that setting up her booth next to Zac's booth would be bad for business. What with people getting sick at the thought of him. Or so she assumed. So, she moved her booth a bit out of the way of their hurling, down the way a little. Next to a quaint lemon-aide stand and a cotton candy trolly. She had a sign hung reading "Kisses $5." She of course had to charge a little more than your average carnival kissing booth because, well the people who usually ran those were five year olds... and they didn't understand the value of money or beauty. And though Sawyer was never a very vain person, she knew some dumb teen boys would pay her twenty if she asked for it.
Sitting herself in the little chair behind the booth which, by the way, her father had brought her when she told him that she needed it or she'd start telling lies to his lawyers. Blackmailing her father was easy. Her mother was too dumb, or perhaps to smart, to ever have something so terrible happen that could be leaked to her inner circle and get her alienated. Politely buying herself a lemon-aide and tossing it down, Sawyer sighed. She hadn't had anything to help her cope with the irritation of being here. Sure she offered to run a booth for the day. But only because she found out Zac was doing it too. And out of the kindness of her heart, she thought she'd save some of the people from herpes.
No longer paying attention to people passing, Sawyer leaned over on her elbow and tugged at a strand of her blond hair. People would filter in soon. And her booth was sort of narrow. Not to mention no one walking by looked worthy of a kiss from her even for twenty dollars. So she continued to tug at the lock of hair she had a hold of and look down at her feet.
