Powers: Information Alteration is the ability to psionically change the ink or graphite markings in a document, so as to make information appear different. One with this ability could not change sound documents, or visual documents, but could change the words on a page, the ink pattern on a painting, or even change the contents of a written document so that they say whatever the user pleases.
Side-effects include numerical dyslexia and paranoia when it comes to authority. As he is proof that "facts" can be changed, he has difficulty believing anything he doesn't see first-hand.

General Appearance: Xavier could care less what he looks like. Most days he doesn't even style his hair. The way he chooses his clothes is by taking them off the floor, checking if they're clean and if they are he wears that. Usually he wears a t-shirt and jeans, and if it's cool outside he might throw a shirt on over the top. His normal footwear are black converse, unless he decides to go jogging then he can be seen sporting a pair of addidas sneakers. At the height of 5'10" Xavier is not a very intimidating guy. He is not built by any means. Most of the muscles he has is from jogging and the occasional stop at the gym. Usually the first thing someone would notice is that Xavier has tattoos in various places on his body. That is the one thing he likes to show off and takes pride in. If he goes out into the sun he could be seen putting sun block on his tattoos. Xavier isn't very pale himself, but he definitely doesn't try to tan. Mostly he stays at a medium. The second thing Xavier always has is his 10 mm gage earrings. He never takes them out, unless to clean them. Then he has a nose ring on his right nostril, sometimes he will take that one out.
Personality: Xavier isn't by any means quite. He will talk smack and laugh at people behind their backs just like fifty percent of other students. Although he is loyal, mostly to a fault. He will stick up for any of his friends. However, if he just meets you and your not one of his closest friends he might talk about you behind your back, usually this means he likes you though. Xavier loves to talk about anything and everything and has a habit of just talking and talking. This also means Xavier is not shy.
Parties is another big thing. He has a big life is a party attitude. He will smoke a cigarette even though he will usually try and go off to the pond or somewhere that no one could yell at him or get him in trouble for being too young to smoke. If by some reason another student happens by he won't try and hide though. In fact if they look to him like they smoke he will over a cigarette to them. Xavier definitely doesn't mind sharing.
His down falls lie within him loving to drink. He tries not to show it but he hides whiskey under his bed and will have a shot before he goes to bed or just to hang out with his friends. This is what usually causes him to be loud and sometimes obnoxious. He also loves tattoos and will mouth off to people who openly call them ugly or obscene. Along with this he tries and talk about the things he likes all the time. Mostly to show off or tell people all the neat tricks he learned skate boarding or how far he can jog without taking a break.

History
Seventeen years ago Baldwin traveled from Germany with his mother and father. His mother had to come to America for health reasons. Baldwin himself can't even remember what the reasons were Baldwin was the only one who knew how to speak English and in America it was important to be able to understand what's going on. Soon Baldwin new that he was going to have to get a job to pay for everything. He was having a rough time in America. Trying to watch out for his father and his mother. Then he bump into Gloria.
He eventual asked her to get some drinks. Soon Baldwin was in love with Gloria, and his mother was better. His mother and father decided to go back to Germany, Baldwin couldn't leave. He was too far in love with Gloria.. After dating for a year Baldwin popped the question and the decided to get married. Gloria soon became pregnant. This is when Baldwin confessed to Gloria that he had gone to Hammel and that's how he learned English. Gloria also confessed that her grandfather had an ability as well. Baldwin couldn't have be happier. Their family was not only going to grow by one but Gloria found out she was pregnant with twins. Baldwin couldn't believe it.
Xavier Sage Abhay was born first. Twenty minutes later he was followed by his sister Ezbeth Kasey Abhay. Gloria was so thrilled to have a son and a daughter. Xavier always took care of his little sister. Growing up when she got in trouble he would always take the blame, leaving his sister free and clear. Ezbeth loved her brother for this. They couldn't have been closer. Being only in elementary Xavier had no clue trying to protect his little sister from everything was going to be hard. In elementary he was always getting in fights when boys would pick on his sister. His mother punished him but he couldn't help but feel overprotective of her. However, everything his sister did, so did he. It was like no matter what habit good or bad Xavier copied his sister. Until high school.
As soon as they got into high school everything changed. Xavier and Ezbeth where thirteen when Xavier started to notice girls. After Xavier got into a big fight with Ezbeth's first boyfriend, who was on the football team, the twins started to fall apart. Xavier started lying, going to many late night parties. He developed a taste for Vodka and Whiskey. Soon his friends started getting worse and worse. Xavier started smoking pot. Gloria tried everything she could to make him stop. On his fourteenth birthday Xavier was arrested. He was skipping his birthday party to avoid his sister again. So he went to his friends house and they had a shot of whiskey and decided to smoke some. Going back home Xavier was picked up by an officer. Upon being arrested they showed Xavier what was on his file, and they were threatening him that he should tell them who sold it to him. All Xavier could think was he wished that his file was clean so the officers would let him go.
When his parents came to pick him up, the police showed them the file, but the words where changed. It didn't say anything about the weed, just that he had a shot of whiskey. Of course he got off with some community service. That's when a Hammel recruiter came. Baldwin and Gloria explained that they understood what was happening and they called Hammel when they felt that something wasn't right. Xavier was taken away from home and his twin sister. Even though they would have said that they hated each other he loved his sister. He even cried as he was taken away. Xavier had no clue what was going on or where he was headed. All he knew was that his parents had told him that they were sending him to a special school.
Upon arriving Xavier didn't know what to think. To him it was like a comic book gone mad. There were people who could control the weather, people who talked to animals, and even people who could read minds. Xavier didn't think that he fit in with the people at Hammel. So he decided since he was there he might as well have fun. He started by getting tattoos. Of course he forged his mother's handwriting so he could get the tattoos. After that he was kind of stuck as the rebel. He found releases in skate boarding and jogging. He thought maybe if he got out and did something he would feel better about where he was at.
Now that he has been at Hammel for four years, Xavier has changed only a little. He got more tattoos and lost some of the other piercings he had. Now the only thing he keeps on is his nose ring and gages. For the years he had been at Hammel so far, he has tried to stay out of trouble for the most part. He even decided to take up swimming even though he didn't join the club. He figured it would help he stay out of trouble. Even after he learned what his ability was. That was exciting for him. Xavier learned how to control his ability for the most part. Sometimes he still accidently changed letters and things that he didn't mean to. Every other weekend he goes and visits his family. They moved from New York to Vermont when Xavier went to Hammel. They did it just in case his twin sister developed an ability. The only other reason Xavier has been in trouble was for getting caught drinking. Xavier tries to hide the fact he smokes occasionally from most everyone at Hammel.
Roleplay Example
Avery rarely had a problem with school. In fact she loved doing homework, well most of the time. When she still lived with her parents her only escape was threw her school. Reading was her favorite.Lately however, she couldn't bring herself to read. Mr.Dalton had assigned a book that Avery couldn't read. Well she could read but every time she even tried to read it she started to cry. Finally she had enough she couldn't read this book, it brought her pain. It had been awhile since she wished she was normal, until she read the book. Now it was almost everyday again. The sadness was getting to her. She wiped her face off and got dressed.
Picking the book up from her bed, she put it in her purse. Then out the door she went. It never happened but today Avery's hair was a mess. Those who knew her knew that she took pride in her appearance. Today it was just pulled back in a mess. She didn't even brush it. She knew what she had to do. She headed to the English Department office. She was headed to see Dalton. "I have to request to change books. I'll try not to elaborate. There is nothing wrong I just can't read this." Avery mumbled to her self as she walked down the halls. Her mind made up on what she was going to do. After ten minutes she seemed to reach her destination. Slowly and consciously she opened the door. Walking in slowly like she was about to get yelled adn she spoke so softly. "Um...Mr. Dalton....? Can I...um..talk to..about....um...the book we are supposed to...ah...um...read?" Barely in the door she looked at him like a scared puppy. This was her first time in this situation.
