The Basics
Name: Terrance Aeron Asher
Nicknames: Ter, Terre, Ash
Age: Eighteen
Orientation: Heterosexual
Desired Rank/Job: Student
Powers: Affliction – This ability can be a dangerous one. It is a sort of reverse healing, that through contact can afflict wounds on another person. The contact must be skin to skin in order for it to do any harm. As of right now, Terrence can only create minor wounds like a paper cut or a small bruise. With more training he should be able to do more damage. Like most other powers, the more Terrence has to concentrate, and the more energy he uses, the more fatigued he becomes. One major thing about his power is that if done wrong, or not concentrating hard enough, he can afflict himself with wounds.

General Appearance:
Rich white snob. Those words basically describe Jean's appearance and what he comes off as to most people. He is tall, standing at a good six feet. He has those blue eyes that a girl would love to stare into. When he smirks he looks devious, and when he laughs he comes across playful. He wears a necklace that has one half (left wing) of a pair of wings out of habit. (Ryne wears the other half, the right.)
Personality:
Terrance is a rich kid and he pulls that look off well. He is the guy all the girls want and all the guys want to be. Well, okay, maybe not exactly want to be, but still. Most people are attracted to him because he does have that charismatic air about him. Terrance can be a true snob, at times, though he was not always like that when he was younger. Actually way back when he did not let his wealth influence him as much, until he got sucked in by the partying and the popular crowd during his last two years of high school. The crowd he started to chill with caused him to become more arrogant. He has slept with plenty of girls and will boast about it just to make himself seem better then you. Not everyone may like him, but he does not care.
Even if Terrance does not think he is the best at everything, he thinks pretty highly of himself, and that he is at least good at all that he does. He has a really competitive nature due to his. He tends to find himself in bets and doing dares. As childish as he seems as times he can be serious. He can get things done when he puts his mind to it and works at it. A more serious side of him comes out when he has to do his job. He becomes disappoint in himself when he messes up so he tries his hardest to get things right the first time. Failure is not an option for him.
An adventure is what Terrance seeks. He wants something exciting to keep him entertained and challenge him slightly. His stubborn nature can actually get him into more trouble than his some what arrogant attitude. He strongly dislikes being wrong. He will not admit to being wrong ever. If you manage to get him to do so you have to have something on him or hell just froze over.
Something a majority of people do not know about him is that he is a hopeless romantic at heart. Yes, he does get with random girls and not have real relationships with them, but he still hopes to find the one. He wants that one person he can spend the rest of his life with. If he does he would protect that person no matter what. Come to think of it Terrance would protect his true friends and those that have his loyalty, without a doubt.

History
Terrance was born into a very well off family. He could have what ever he wanted and more. Being an only child just made it easier for his parents to spoil him. His father was the head of his own law firm and his mother owned her own change of fashion boutiques. The family spent a lot of time together, even with his parents seemingly busy schedules. There was always one night a week set aside as family night, allowing them to spend time together and be close. Family bonding time never was interrupted for anything other then urge reasons or when things could not be changed to a later date.
Being rather outgoing and confident it was no surprise that Terrance made a friend the first day of first grade and his friend’s first day of kindergarten. The boy's name was Ryne. They were instant friends. Terrance was always there for his friend. He even lent a shoulder for Ryne to cry on when his father died. They remained good friends for the longest time. It was really freshman year of high school that their friendship broke down. That was the time in which Terrance's personal life seemed to go down hill. His father was caught cheating on his mother with a woman, young enough to be able to pass as Terrance's sister, this lead to more truths coming out. It was not the first time his father had cheated. It seemed that he had done so many times before. Mary had no clue that the late nights at the office for her husband were late nights out with other women. Knowing these new found facts you would think things would have gone better a little bit better, but they did not. This time it was a lot different then others. It turned out that Terrance’s father wanted to be found out. Christian Asher wanted to divorce his wife to marry this younger woman. That was a devastating blow to Mary Asher. After his parents separated his mom started to drink.
No one really acted as a strong authority figure in his life anymore. Ry just seemed to ask too many questions, whether he was okay and how things at home were going. Terrance really just wanted to not focus on that part of his life and be distracted by other things. This caused him to some how drift towards hanging with the more popular partying crowd. He had always had the option of hanging with them, being of the same social class and all, but he always chose to hang with Ryne instead. They never pried into his life, like Ryne would when he was worried. The new circle of people were also of the same social class as Terrance making him tell himself even more that he belonged. That was all before he disappeared for a bit.
The hanging out with the rich, older kids did not do Terrance any good. He ended up in more than one fight that year. There were plenty of times he was suspended from school for fighting. It was not until near the end of his freshmen year that things really went from worst to well even worst. Some idiot found out about his parent’s marriage problems and decided to taunt the boy about it. Terrance had just grabbed him out of anger and the idiot ended up in the hospital with a few broken ribs, gashes on his face, arms, and legs, and a swollen eye. He ended up with a few wounds himself not created by the idiot who picked the fight and being kicked out of school, marking the last straw for his mother. However, the very next day a recruit was there to telling her what her son was and about Hammel. Still Mary believed Terrance need a change in environment, so instead he was shipped off to Kocher haute école pour les surdoués. Now finally eighteen and sick of being in a country he dislikes he has transferred to The Hammel Institute for college.
Roleplay Example
Terrance's phone went off. Thinking it was his alarm for school his hand shot out from under the covers. They opened the phone hitting the button out of muscle memory, before he closed the cell phone again. He turned off the alarm by hitting snooze. At least that is he had thought. Merely a few seconds past, maybe it had been a minute, when the phone went off again. This time the young teenage boy was actually half awake. His brain processed the sound realizing that it was his ring tone for an incoming call. This time he opened the phone and actually answered it.
"Hello," he said into the phone in a tired voice.
Terrance. The voice on the other end called him.
He recognized the voice immediately. "Yes, Mrs. Runnells?"
Stephanie's mother started to say something, but then stopped. She tried a couple of more times. When she finally did get something out, she broke down crying a halfway through the sentence. Most if her words were inaudible. Terrance did manage to catch something about coming over to the house and something else about Stephanie. He just replied that he would come over right away before hang up.
He closed the phone as he sat up from the bed. A section of the screen light up his face. The light given off by the phone was too bright for his stilled tired eyes. He took his hand to rub his right eye and then the left, trying to wake himself up. Just as he felt awake the screen went off, but not before he caught a glimpse of the numbers that had been displayed. Terrance shook his head. 'No that couldn't be right,' he thought. He pressed the side of the phone causing the screen to give off a luminous glow once again. The numbers on the screen told him it was only 3:08 AM.
The boy sat there staring at the numbers confused for a second. Why would Stephanie's mother call him at this time? When he remembered she had been crying, it hit him that something had to be wrong. He threw on the first pants and shirt he could fine. He grabbed his jacket and the keys to one of the family's car and flew out the door. He didn't even bother to leave a note to tell his parents where he was going.
Terrance drove like a speed demon trying to get to her house as soon as possible. Stephanie's house was close, but at that moment it was not close enough. It took him five minutes to arrive on Stephanie's street. He saw an ambulance and cop cars line the street. Terrance parked the car in the first empty spot he could fine. He rushed out of the car and run up the street. He prayed the whole time that they weren't in front of her house. Two houses away that hope died.
He found Mrs. Runnells on the front lawn crying in her husband's arms. He asked what has happened. Her father told him that his wife had found her when she got up to go to the bathroom. Stephanie had slit her wrists. It had been a suicide. Her father also said there was a note. He dug in his back pocket and pulled it out.
Terrance's eyes scanned the piece of paper. I chose this to be free. No one seemed to care about me in life and I don't think in death it will be any different. So I leave you with this simple note. I cannot take going through this day in and day out any longer. Goodbye. Terrance's green eyes usually full of life was now sad and dead, with tears threading to spill out. He couldn't believe it. He wouldn't believe it. He ran into the house and up the stairs. He saw the paramedics carry a stretcher that covered what he knew was his girlfriend's body in a white sheet. He walked over to the bathroom to see the blood stained floors. They were still wet and glistening slightly for not all the blood had dried.
The left the bathroom doorway and walked over to her bedroom. He looked at the picture fame that held a picture of there last picture together, taken just a week ago. He picked it up and went to sit on her bed. The tears that had threatened to spill before now fell freely down his face. Terrance stayed there for hours in a daze not even Stephanie's parents bothered him, but probably because they were grieving too.
When his phone finally rang, Terrance picked it up to find that it was his father on the line. All Terrance did while being yelled at for disappearing in the middle of the night and taking the car was stay quiet. He didn't talk back or roll his or do any of the usual mannerisms he would do. When his father was done, Terrance told him in a whisper Stephanie had committed suicide.
Just as it seemed he would break down crying, he heard a loud noise. It sounded familiar, like his alarm clock. After turning off the alarm he started to rub his eyes, trying to get rid of whatever sleep was left in him. It had only been a dream, but a super realistic dream at that. Sometimes Terrance hated his vivid and wild imagination.
