Kevin was not in the best of moods today, getting a small amount of sleep and having a bad rest at that was not doing good for his day. Waking up four times was not exactly what he wanted while he slept, and it was taking a tool on him. He tried to get some sleep during the day, but it was hard during classes, and inbetween classes was worse. So all day his eye lids dropped, his body tried to call it, but his mind had to keep going.
The halls were rather busy, full of students like always walking and getting from place to place. Of course he was by himself, like he was most times. Kevin had two options, just walk and find something to do, or walk and find a place to crash and hopefully get some rest. Both of these would be hard considering the condition, a hallway full of people and a sleep deprived kid. His body was not enjoying this anymore than he was, but his mind took the toll.
Kevin began to think about why he kept waking up, the dreams he was having about his mom. He missed his mother after only really knowing her for a few days. He loved it here at Hammel, and wanted nothing else than to be here, but the dreams kept reminding him of his mother, and the family he left back home. The boys mind was to focused on his family to pay any attention to where he was going. Sometimes even knocking into people or causing them to move out of his way. To be honest he did not care all that much.
A loud bang caused kevin to snap back to attention, a door slammed shut behind him. looking around he realized this was not where he meant to go, and by choice he would have stayed far from it. The gym stood before him, open with people here and there working out. It smelled of sweat and was littered with people excersising, one thing he did not enjoy all that well. Stepping forward he tried to see anyone he knew well, after all he could handle being here if he had a friend. But no, no one close to him was here.
So kevin turned back around, ready to leave when the door he had just entered through was swung open again, pushing into him and sending him to the floor. With a curse under his breath and his eyes closed, the small pain shot up through his back.
