Pizza and breadsticks [Cat]

Xavier walked in the doors first holding her hand. he wondered what she would say about her favorite pizza. Xavier liked anything but anchovies. He would eat anything she wanted though. trying to be the gentleman that he said he would he opened the door for her. Frankly he didn't mind because that was the way he was brought up. "So pizza, bread sticks and some pop. What type of pop do you like Cat. remember your the main character. You can order me around how ever you wish." Xavier said that with a little laugh. Part of him was just joking around, trying to loosen Cat up to be more of herself. He wondered what she would act like when he finally broke threw her barriers.

Cat walked saw him smile, she was glad he was feeling better. She thought that it was nice to see him smile. When they were walking back Cat was aware of him grabbing her hand and smiling all the way. When he mentioned the princess thing she sighed and shook her head. “I’ve told you once and I will tell you again. I am not the princess. I am the royal advisor. Besides the dragon was based off of you. The Princess was my other friend. I am not her in the least. I am who I am, don’t make me someone else.” Cat said all of this with a smile. To show that even though she was serious about this she was not mad.

When it came to pizza, Cat liked Pepperoni and sausage, she hated anchovies and did not like the taste of them in the slightest. But she frowned when she heard that he was going to let her order the pizza. “That was not our deal. I pick movie, You get the pizza. Fair is Fair.” Cat looked at Xavier as they entered into the building. She was surprised that he liked her. It was apparent he did, but, she still had no idea why. If there was ever going to be a relationship, it would be equal. Nothing more, Nothing less. Cat smiled up at him. “Fair is Fair.”

Cat heard the soda question come out of Xavier’s mouth. At least she assumed that it was soda he was talking about when he said pop. Cat was never one to drink soda, it made her really hyper. “You have any water? Soda makes me hyper” When Cat heard the main character comment she sighed. “We’ve been over this. Minor Characters rule. End of discussion. And I don’t plan on ordering you to do anything. You are a human, at least in this world, and not an animal or a slave. Besides, If I told you to go jump off a bridge would you do it? I highly doubt it.” Cat felt her glasses fog up from the sudden increase of heat. Well it was winter wasn’t it? Sighing Cat took off her glasses and started to clean them off.

Xavier chuckled. He found her so interesting. Fair is fair was going to be the rule. He liked that. "OK fair is fair. I will order meat lovers and a mount dew for me. I have bottled water in my dorm. Well, my mini fridge." Xavier turned and started to walk down the halls. "OK fine then if your a minor character then so am I. I refuse to be the dragon. Besides I told you I wouldn't let you wonder alone and that counts for in your stories too. I have to tell you Cat even for short stories you are brilliant. your writing just makes me want to continue to read and then I am all sad when it does." He chuckled. "Does your writing have something to do with your ability? That would be cool. What is your ability?" As they continued to walk he kept his hand wrapped around hers. Its was funny how small her hand was to his. Although he liked everything about this girl. SO far he could tell that he was going to be on a short leash, even if she didn't say anything out right to him.

Cat smiled happily when he ordered the meat lovers pizza. At least they had the same tastes in pizza. She was happy their was going to be water, she was not sure if she wanted Xavier to see her when she was hyper yet. He tended to get really bouncy and smiley and, for lack of a better word, hyper. When he started to reject being the dragon she sighed and looked at him. “A dragon is a dragon. And pardon my saying, but you are not minor character material, you can’t hide in the sidelines, letting yourself be unseen, your whole essence screams main character. You can’t refuse to be the dragon, it is as you are. There is no denying it” Cat sighed. “Who says the royal advisor wanders alone? For your information, she happens to travel the world after her training, discovering the secrets of the universe until it is time for the princess to inherit the throne.”

When Xavier started in with the flattery, Cat just brushed it of with an, “It is no where near other people I have read. There are so many different styles and ways to convey the feelings of not only the characters, but the authors too. The way a certain writer puts something, differs from the way another does. I have read amazing stories and experienced many different styles of writing. Mine is nowhere near amazing.”

Cat was hesitant to let her ability be known, she was getting the hang of it, as long as it was not highly personal. Cat really was hesitant to say as she followed Xavier down the hall. She figured she already knew his but she had not told him hers. Cat sighed and looked down. Just above a whisper she said, “I can tell the feelings and emotions of the author who has written something.” She hung her head. For some reason she was not as sure that telling Xavier was the right thing to do as her heart was telling her. There went her heart and mind again, battling it out to the unenviable downfall of both. Cat sighed; unaware of what was going on in Xavier’s head. All that she knew was that he was leading her somewhere.

As he saw his door approach he smiled. "So like an empath for books. That is a cool gift. I bet it allows you to understand the book better then someone like me. I like reading but probably couldn't get into it the depth you can." Xavier stopped at his door and opened it. "I'll order the pizza If you look for the movie." Xavier forgot he had papers in his room. Things that he had to well, make say something else. Grades to change and stuff. He didn't think it was something bad that needed to be hidden after all it was only for those that paid him and himself of course. Besides it wouldn't change their school grade just what they showed their parents.

Xavier looked to the coffee table as he walked in. Then to cat. "Um..homework?"

Cat nodded at the comment about being an empath for books “Only its for their authors.” Cat scanned the room when Xavier opened the door. It was pretty neat, save for tons of papers on the coffee table. Cat was skeptical when he said it was homework, just because of the way he said it. Shifty eyes, the hurried nature of his essence, Cat realized he was lying to her. She slowly walked over to the table and plopped down next to it to examine the papers, if it really was homework he would have no trouble with her doing this. Cat set down her bag and began to sort the papers, even if they weren’t homework they were stil messy. “You need to sort your.. “homework” better.” She was not going to start off with lying. If he really liked her he was going to have to tell her the truth himself. She did not want to be that girl that was always suspecting her boyfriend. No he would have to tell her himself.

“Where are the movies?” Cat decided t leave the matter alone until he brought it up. She expected him to bring it up.

Xavier flinched as Cat walked over to the papers. "Fine..Its not homework. I have to change the grades on those papers so the kids have good grades to show their parents even though they have crappy grades here." Xavier walked over to her and took the papers. He prepared for her to hit him again but he figured he would answer her questions. "The movie should be in my room. First door on the right. I'll order the pizza while you go look." He was going to wait for her to go to his room before he let hi guard down.

Cat looked at Xavier, happy that he did not lie to her. If she did not like something it was liars. She had already knew they were no homework by his attitude, but what they were came as a shock to her. He changed peoples grades around? She was not too happy about it, but deciding to reward him for not lying to her she went into the room and looked for the movie. His room was sort of messy, but weren’t all teen age boy’s rooms messy. Cat immediately saw the movies and went over. He had quite a collection. It would take her a while to find them Knight and Day. So she went searching. Looking for it. After a while of not finding it she called “Xavier come find it.” walking out of his room and plopping down on the sofa Cat gave up. She couldn’t find it.

Xavier smiled. "Thanks for not saying anything Cat." He looked at her as she plopped on the couch. "Did you want to call for the pizza while I search the mess that is my bed room?" He smiled at her and put his cell phone on the table. Walking away he went to search for the DVD. Sighing as he looked at the mess he would have to concur to find it.

Cat had pulled out her book and was reading. She heard from the other part of the room “thanks for not saying anything cat” Cat decided to ignore this and continue reading; She knew that it might have meant something to him, but she was going to pretend she had never seen it. Cat felt his eyes on her when she plopped down. She sighed. “No I really don’t want to; I don’t even know their number.” Cat was saying this but Xavier was walking away into his room. Cat looked at the cell phone. Might as well play with it. She started messing around with it, looking at contacts that sort of thing. Cat heard a camera flash and she looked around. Where did it come from? Cat was not the best with technology. She was used to pen and paper. Deciding she had played with the phone enough Cat walked into Xavier’s room. “I honestly do not know the number.” With that Cat walked up to Xavier, put the phone into his hand. She started looking around for the movie and found it. Shoved underneath a blanket. “Xavier I found it.”

Xavier smiled. "Since you found the movie I will call them. I have them on speed dial." Xavier looked down at his phone and laughed. "Why did you take a picture of your foot?" He shook his head and deleted the picture. After taking a breath he dialed the number. "Cat did you want nothing else?" Soon a person pick up. "Yes I would like a large meat lovers pizza, two orders of bread sticks, and a two liter of mount dew. Abhay. Yes. Plenty of times. I don't know give me one second." Xavier looked to cat and smiled again "Did you want anything else?"

Cat walked back out into the common room. She heard from the other room that Xavier was ordering pizza. Cat smiled, she was hungry. When she heard the comment about taking a picture of her foot, Cat turned red. “I took a picture of my foot? How…” Cat remembered the camera flash. Oh so she did that? Cat turned around and sat down on the couch, thinking, its better to read then to text. She was not fond of technology. Sure it had its perks but it was hard to understand. She began to read when she heard Xavier ask if she wanted anything else. “Nope I am good. Now come show me how to work this thing…” Cat had done stuff with DVD’s before but for some reason, everyone else always took it from her before she could get the hang out it. Maybe it was because she had ruined a few before. Cat sighed and shook her head. “How long till the pizza?”

Xavier smiled as he hung up the phone. For some reason he couldn't help himself. He turned off his camera sound and pretended to be fiddling with his phone. In actuality Xavier lifted up his phone and snapped a picture of Cat as she looked at him. The slight blush on her face made her look even more beautiful. Quickly before she could question what he was doing he put his phone in his pocket. "OK I will come in and put the movie." Xavier walked back into the room and bent over. Carefully he opened the case and put the movie in. Then he turned all the channels on the t.v. so the movie would play. Grabbing the DVD remote he sat next to Cat. He lifted his arm up so she could cuddle into him. Xavier liked feeling her next to him. "Oh they said the usual time frame. twenty to thirty minutes." He smiled as he looked at her.

Cat looked at Xavier fiddling with his phone, She honestly had no idea how it worked so she was not that worried. She just figured he was doing something. She watched him put the phone back into his pocket and watched him come over to the TV and the DVD system. She was not sure how he did it but he managed to get it to start playing. When she heard the pizza comment she nodded. “Ok.” Setting down on the couch Cat began to watch the movie. She was one of those people who did not talk during movies and was always quiet. She began to watch the opening of the movie when the screen froze. She looked at Xavier, what was going on? Simply sighing she said, “Fix it.”

Xavier smiled. "OK OK." He decided to scoot closer to her. Xavier sighed he must have accidental paused it. After her sat closer to her he wrapped his arm around her and sighed. Pressing the play button he looked at her. "Are you technologically impaired?" A small laugh escaped him.
