Bro's Night In - Robbie tags Phoenix/Jared

After planning it for days, Robbie finally got both his dorm buddies to hang out at night. Action horror movies, a mountain pile of snacks and cans of soda. They were in for an AWESOME night, if he did say so himself. Since Ashleigh rarely got out of her room, Robbie didn't bother inviting her, knowing that if she wanted, she was totally free to join them.

Donning the hockey mask and holding up the rubber axe he had bought for Halloween last year, he stalked into Phoenix's room, kicking the slightly ajar door fully open, careful not to let it hit him and swung the ax over his head, ready to 'chop' off his head.

But the dark haired boy wasn't even around. "What a waste." Robbie pulled the mask up and dropped the ax on the the bed. Placing his hands on his waist, he looked around the room but Phoenix was just not in there. "Feefeeeee, where aaaare youuuu?" Robbie called out in a sing song voice.

Huffing when there wasn't an answer, Robbie pulled his mask down again and grabbed the ax and decided to stalk Jared's room. "JAREEEEEDDDDD!" Robbie screamed with his ax up over his head.

As though he had heard Robbie's summons, Phoenix came skip-dancing into his dorm room (yes, skip-dancing; as in a combination of skipping and dancing). However, he certainly could not actually have heard Robbie's summons as he had his earphones plugged in his ears and his iPhone was playing his music at full blast.

Oh. And he was singing along.

"Oh, baby,baby, the reason I breathe is you! Girl you got me blinded!"

Phoenix must have been way, way off on what time it was. As he came waltzing into their common room, he hadn't expected that any of his roommates would be there yet, had thought that he was still plenty earlier than when they had planned on starting. If he had known that Robbie would be within listening range, he probably wouldn't have come in singing Britney Spears at the top of his lungs.

"Oh, pretty baby, there's nothin' that I wouldn't do! It's not the way I planned it!"

It was then that, out of the corner of his eye, Phoenix saw the ax in the air, being held by some intruder with a hockey mask on, creeping into Jared's room. A girly scream escaped from Phoenix - a scream as loud as could be - and he dropped the container of pink cupcakes that he had brought with them for them to eat. (They were supposed to be red like blood, nice and manly, but they hadn't quite turned out that way.)

"AHHHHHH! HELP! HELP! HELP!"

Unlike his older roommates, the young Asian teen has yet to bring anything into their planned “bromantic roommate bonding night”. (Not that either of them has decided to call it that really, but Jared, being the young boy that he is, needed something to call this weird ‘movie night’ night they’d have and since either Robbie or Phoebe – he forgot who – vehemently disagreed with calling it a ‘slumber party’, he decided on that hodgepodge of a phrase). It’s not that he doesn’t want to bring anything – ‘cause he does – it’s just that he had to stay up late the night before for a project and, well, he’s rather sleepy now. And since he doesn’t want to snooze all of a sudden when their ‘night’ has finally begun (heaven knows if what would happen if the two boys suddenly find themselves with a Sharpie and a snoozing him), he decided a nap was in order.

So there he was, happily curled up into a ball while clad in his Spongebob pajama bottoms and a plain oversized t-shirt (that hung off his shoulders when he’s unaware), when Robbie started his rather weird shouting and chanting. While it wasn’t enough to wake the little boy, it did make his face wrinkle a bit, as well as making the boy turn to the other side of the bed. When the blond started hunting for him however, the young boy slowly opened his eyes and, as expected, immediately horrified by the sight.

“HOMAYGAAAAAAAAWD!”

Jared almost jumped from his bed and into the wall, covering himself with the blanket. It took a few more seconds before it sunk in that, well, he’s already seen the attire before and all that, but the damage has been done. He’s sure whoever it was behind the mask wouldn’t let him hear the end of it.

“You’re mean you know that,” he protested, pouting as he came out of his blanket and threw himself over his perpetrator, clinging onto the figure piggyback style. “So is it time to braid our hair already?”

Forgive the rambling and the crappiness. D;. Also, I do hope Phoenix wouldn't mind that Jared took the liberty to call him Phoebe, just to tease him. Heehee. -hugs Nuala and Meegsy-

Hearing the screams first surprised Robbie because he did not realise his dormmates would actually scream that loud and that shrill but he quickly recovered and started cackling and took off his mask. Jared climbed on him, making him lose his balance a tiny smidge but with an arm around Jared's knee, he walked out of the younger boy's room to snicker at Phoenix's face.

"Britney Spears, Feefee? And pink cupcakes?" Robbie trotted to the rest area and deposited Jared off on the couch and left to get to the kitchenette to find his stash of snacks. He brought the shitton of food out in front of the TV and dumped them on the small table before scooting over to Phoenix, throwing his arm around the boy. "Cupcakes, Feefee? Did you make them yourself? You shouldn't have." The weather manipulator bent down and picked up the container, popping the lid open and poking his finger into the icing of one.

"Sugarrrrr." He drawled out before joining Jared on the couch. "We gotta get you some decent music Feefs." Grabbing the remote control, Robbie switched on the TV and then the video player that already had their first gore movie selection for the night. "Okay so the lineup for the night is Nightmare on Elm Street, My Bloody Valentine - even though it sucked, their gore is unstoppable, The Roommate aaaand my personal favourite Sorority Row. Mostly for the chicks but getting ganked with a tire wrench is geeeenius."
