[Olivia Murphy]

If there was one thing that Olivia was happy about, it was that America had amazing malls, even the tiniest one was better than the one back in Ballina, Ireland. Although the malls in Sweden those were amazing. Olivia smiled at her sister and relaxed for the first time in a few days. Perhaps things here wouldn't be as bad as the change from Ireland to Sweden. After all they all spoke English as the primary language here, they'd already lived through changing schools and towns.

"Brooke, I'ma look into gettin some curtaains fer my room. Da shads da scool haz be too tick." Olivia shifted her backpack on her shoulder and blushed when some one near them stared openly at her. She wasn't one to enjoy attention by any means. "Do ye wantabe lookin fer dat Cd ya be wan'in fer a wile. I'ma meet ya in som time her fer lunch."

Olivia hugged Brooklyn and gave her a knowing look of 'be safe' before wandering through a store for curtains. She was a little torn as to which color to go with and was thinking of brown tones but a shear sheet of dark black lace seem to call to her. Deciding it was for the best and not really able to argue with the clearance price Olivia paid and left the store with time to spare. If she was guessing the time right.. the problem was her phone was in Brooklyn's bag by a slip of thought. Olivia sat a moment and looked around before seeing a talling boy.

"Oye Laddie, ye be havin the time perhap'? Don sem ta hav me phon on me" Olivia gave her best smile. She wasn't typically one to seek people out or start conversations but she wasn't too shy to start them either.

[Brooklyn Murphy]

Brooklyn was alright about shopping. It wasn't her favorite thing to do. But it was time with her sister and it obviously made Olivia happy, so Brooke tagged along effortlessly. When Olivia said something about curtains She nodded to her sister. "Ya ya. Do what ever. I'll be fine. Jus gonna be a bit. I won' be long. Promise." She smiled at her sister and nodded to her look. Brooklyn wasn't actually looking for any cd in particular. she just really did not care about drapes. Hang a flippin sheet over the damn things for all she cared. Too thick? She wasn't sure her sister was quite right in the head.

Walking into the music store she looked around a bit and listened to a muttered "What was I looking for again?" from the other side of the shelf. That was more than likely Brooklyn's power coming into effect. That or the person just naturally forgot. But to be on the safe side, she moved away quickly. She almost took out a magazine display on her way. Getting into the back she flipped through some Vinal but found nothing interesting to her there. So naturally she moved to the rock section. She liked loud obnoxious music. But this was not the same as back home. Lord knows no one had to look hard for a Flogging Molly album or a Dropkick Murphy's cd. "Shit." Flicking through a few more she grabbed one of the albums she didn't have, and made her way to the front.

When she set the CD on the counter the guy over the counter looked at her strangly. "I'm not quite sure you'll like this band. It's not a chick singer named Molly." Brooklyn looked at him with a quark. Ah she under stood what he ment. He was telling her she should be listening to girly music. "If I wan ta listen to Drunken Irish men slur out their secrets then I'll bloody hell listen to it. I aint listnin ta no fairy fartin shit for brains about my music tastes." Throwing down the money Brooklyn turned away. "Fuckin idiot. This is the best damn music in ya silly rat infested shop ya bastard!"

Brooklyn Murphy...had a potty mouth. And when she felt about something the way she felt about her music, she had no problem openning up her sailor vocabulary book and using it properly. Storming out of the shop she raised a middle finger to the shop owner and then smacked her bum. "Yer music can kiss me fanny ye big arse!" But her phone started to ring and she scrambled to get it out of her bag. Of course, silly Brooklyn was walking while looking for it and the second she got out not her's but Olivia's phone out, she knocked her knee into a fountain in the mall. Who the hell puts a water hazard in a mall anyhow? Olivia's phone tumbled out of Brooke's hands and kerrrr plunked right down next to all the loose change that had been depositied there over time. "Bloody.... fucking... hell..." Olivia was going to have a fit when she found out. Of course Brooklyn was SO not going into the fountain to fetch it. Lord only knew what was in the water. People could have spit in it.. nasty child hands have been in there. Not to mention the crap from the change. Well... Now what the hell was she going to do?

[Robbie Wilkes]

Robbie was not getting any better from his cold but he would be damned before he could be passed off as an invalid, lying in bed bemoaning the fact that he was indeed as sick as a dog. So without letting Jared know he was leaving, Robbie grabbed his music player, his hoodie and coat and his wallet before setting off to go to the local mall.

Jared had introduced Robbie to the wonders that was K-Pop which was what was mostly blasting on his music player right then as he huddled into his coat and hoodie on his way to the mall. The one he was listening to was very danceable and even in his sorry state, people could see the young boy moving his body a little to the music.

He was closing in on the mall and could already smell Auntie Anne's pretzels, realising he hadn't eaten a decent meal since last week when he originally got sick so he decided to venture a bite. He had always loved Auntie Anne's pretzels so even if he ended up upchucking everything, at least he got to eat it. So he got an original flavoured pretzel and started walking about the small establishment. Well, it was rather huge for a small town but compared to the mall back home, this place was kind of tiny.

It held the usual things like gift/flower shops, family restaurants, apparels, optical shops, nothing too interesting but Robbie took everything in as the pretzel he was working on disappeared with every bite. He passed by a redhead who was looking down at the fountain in horror but he thought nothing of it before someone stopped him for something. He looked up and frowned when he realised it was the same girl he had just passed not two seconds ago but in different clothes.

Robbie turned to where he had seen the other girl before looking at the one who'd just asked him something he hadn't heard on account of his headphones obstructing any external noises. He pulled them down and tried to think of what she could have asked. Something about a phone. Did she want to borrow his phone?

He slipped his phone out and handed it to her. Robbie was still very much confused as to how the girl seemed to be in two places at once. Them being twins didn't even cross his mind. He'd never encountered this kind of situation before so his mind didn't immediately come to that conclusion. Which brought him to another conclusion which was that the girl was a meta. Duplication? Mirror imaging?

"I'm sorry," he rasped, his voice cracking a little under the pressure of talking with a sore throat. "I might be hallucinating but are there really two of you?" He asked, blinking.

Olivia looked up as the boy pulled head phones out, things that she honestly disliked personally but could respect others draw to them. "Ya I ask'd if ye be havin da time" He handed over his phone and she quickly got the little numbers to pop up. Now phones were something she likes and considered herself good at dealing with. Tiny, smart, portable phones were a blessing on this earth that made her life and watching her sister worlds easier. She should be finding Brooklyn before the girl got herself into any trouble, and it was about food time. With a smile she handed the small square back and laughed.

"Thank ye much, Ey tis two of me. I'ma half a twin. Ye be seein her aroun any where?" Olivia looked around but couldn't quite see the bright red hair both she and her sister wore. Then it dawned on her that her accent may be too thick. She certainly hoped not and could tone it down a bit, but that took concentrating on the words and they always felt so bizarre in her mouth. She supposed it's how anyone learning a foreign language might feel even if English was not a foreign language to her.

The boy pointed back one direction and Olivia saw her sister coming towards her quite frazzled. A serious look came over her as she sighed. She'd left her alone ten minutes....TEN MINUTES... and it was clear as day something had happened that Olivia wouldn't be happy about. Shaking her head she turned back to the boy. "Names Olivia, and dis be Brooklyn. Ye mus be'n special likes to conclu'din we be doublez not twins'." She smiled and hoped that that word had been understandable. Honestly who thinks they are hallucinating before thinking about twins. However, she wasn't really judging. If he was special like them, then he was a Hammel student and a fellow classmate. Olivia's smile turned into a subtle frown again. "Ye be alight der laddie? Ye not be lookin' so hot"

Well it was gone. Dead. There was no coming back from that. All that she could do now was tell her sister what happened and take her to get a new one. Walking over to Olivia, Brooklyn eyed the boy a little. Who the heck was he? And why did he look like death. Brooklyn wasn't really a fan of germs when she knew they were present, so mostly she tried not to think of them. But looking at him it was hard not to.

Turning to Olivia after giving a short very non commital wave to the boy Brooklyn took a very deep breath and let it all out in one very fast spoken string of words. "Music mans a git. Anger got the best o' me. Not like I coulda helped. Me balance is shabby. We all are knowin tha. If ye phone weren't so bloody slippy I wouldn'ta dropped it. Oh hellz bellz! I know. I'm a ruddy kluts and yer very mad. Ne'er been dis mad b'for. Heaven help da poor child who kills yer cell phone. Okay okay now lets not cry yer eyes out. Alls we gots ta do is go down ter da phone place and get ye a new one. With grippies so dis sorts of thing don't happen again."

She looked back at the boy and wrinkled her nose. Not that she didn't like boys just not ones that looked like they'd recently been sick. She started pulling her mp3 player out of her purse and untagling her head phones. If Olivia was going to talk to a boy, Brooklyn was going to totally take herself out of the situation. No way was she going to get stuck in a boy sandwhich with her again. No boy was going to come between them again. She picked angrily at the knot as she waited for her sister to be done playing nurse maid to the sickly.

[Robbie Wilkes]

When the girl said they were twins, it made Robbie go "Oh" before rubbing his eyes tiredly. He gnawed on the last piece of pretzel before balling up the wrapper, stuffing it in his coat pocket before pointing to where he had seen her twin who just so happened to be walking over, looking a little worried.

The one approaching them was already speaking in full speed in an Irish accent Robbie, in his hazed up state, couldn't follow at all. He did notice the wrinkle of her nose just as he sniffled. It was obvious the girl didn't want anything to do with him as she uncoiled her music player and looked at him in disdain.

He turned when the somewhat tamer one of the two introduced themselves. He did not see any difference between the two and the names just added to the confusion in Robbie's sick addled mind. "Yeah, special alri-" he was interrupted mid-sentence as an impending sneeze caught him at a very compromising position where the nice twin was directly in front of him.

His hand scrambled to grab the crumpled wrapper from his pocket and walked away from the twins and blew a huge sneeze into the wrapper. Lightning was seen from the glass window overhead. He dropped the soiled wrapper into the nearest dustbin before turning to the redhead with a sheepish grin. "Might be sick," he joked lightly. "I'm Robbie." He introduced himself, careful not to offer his hand. He did have a little tact after all.

"Does she not want me around? I could go...?" his voice trailed as his head swung over to the other twin who was now pretty absorbed in her music.

Olivia took a deep breath... ok a very deep breath as she faced her sister. "I shouda known ye'd be droppin it. Can' be trustin ya wit nothin." Olivia shook her head with a sigh and thought about why she'd given her phone to Brooklyn anyways.. oh ya Da called and had wanted to talk to her. "well lets be go'n ta see about a new one." Brooklyn already had her headphones in which meant she'd heard nothing.

The boy sneezed and wandered off, the once sunny day outside was suddenly darker and flashes caught Olivia's attention. She wasn't a fan of storms, primarily because they meant dark sky's and she preferred sunny skies. He returned and confirmed her assumption before introducing him self. Olivia was impressed by the lads manners. Ya a small things in today's society but he was considerate which can be hard to find. That or he was an ass that didn't offer his hand to any one. she'd have to wait to make that decision. "nah she be a geeermepob ((germaphobe)) abut sick peoples. Ye shouldn be out if ye bein ills. Could make ya worsen" Olivia was a bit of a 'mother hen' to those who are ill, at least when the fancy caught her.

Olivia looked around spotting the phone store. If they were going to be here she really needed to get her phone taken care of. "So ya be attenden' Hammel?" She smiled and grabbed her sister's arm dragging her with gently. A phone was just one of those necessities in life.

[Robbie Wilkes]

"Eh, it's just a cold." Robbie waved off Olivia's concern. "I'm not gonna die. I'm cool." He grinned before burying his face in his jacket and coughing up a storm. Well, a thunder anyway, he noted as the sky darkened again before clearing once more. He should really go back to Hammel since it seemed as though the weather was only changing at the place he was at instead of the whole town. Apparently him being sick was messing with his powers as well, which couldn't be a good thing.

The mention of Hammel had Robbie nodding, without thinking too much of the consequences. For all he knew these two girls were the people he was told to avoid, people who wanted information on the school up the hills of Pilot Ridge. "Student. Do you two go there too?"

[Olivia Murphy]

Olivia was a little single minded at the moment, her life line was down and dead which sucked. Honestly the only thing that had her not freaking out at the moment was that she had a visual on her sister. The boy started coughing causing thunder to rumble and Olivia did a mental cringe hoping the boy was alright. She stopped outside of the store and nodded to him. "Aye, started dis pass Munday. Tis a wee diffent den back hoom." She smiled and dug around in her purse. "ere... has anoder tissu and I'ma be back in a mooment."

Ushering her sister into the store Olivia explained the situation to the sales guy. "ya I know I could just be puttin the ting in rice en all. But dat wouldn't be gettin me a workin phone at dis momment now would it be?" While money did concern Olivia and she wasn't one to just blow a wad of cash, for a working phone was exactly the type of emergency she saved her pennies for.. and she'd saved a lot of pennies. Her wish was quickly granted and she dragged her sister back out of the store with a smile. "Now dat dat be done we can be gettin back to da fun."

While Robbie could easily pick up accents, he had a lot of trouble actually understanding what the person was trying to say half the time. And in Olivia's case, all Robbie saw was her handing over a piece of tissue and then disappearing into the phone shop with her double.

"Rice?" Robbie mouthed in confusion as he used the tissue she gave him to blow his nose. He nodded and cracked a smile just to be polite but he was really just completely confused. Once she got out of the store, Robbie was still there, sniffling and wondering if he could stuff another pretzel in his belly.

"What were you looking for anyways?" Robbie asked curiously.

Olivia watched the wave of confusion roll through the poor boys eyes and figured she should try and tone her accent down a bit. It was always apparent when she was trying to be understood, he words came out slowly, and firmly clipped instead of the flowing trail that seemed to occur when a person naturally spoke. "I came heeerre foor curtains and I has dem. Now it's juz seein' what else be around. Arre ye heeerre lookin' foor somethin' special? or juz be wanderin' like us."

Olivia snatched her sisters phone and went through the little dealio to get hers activated and on. She was good at these things and as such they only took her as much time as it took the little contraption to move from one request to the another. Between herself and Brooklyn they'd had several phones over the years that she'd had to activate... normally however, it was Brooklyn's phones being replaced.

[Robbie Wilkes]

As Olivia spoke slower, Robbie finally caught up with her train of thought. "Ohh, yeah naw, I was just wantin' to get out of school. The dorms weren't doin' anythin' for my cold. Thought I'd just walk it off. Ended up here. I like the pretzels." Robbie grinned boyishly at the redheaded Irish.

"I don't actually know this place too well. But I do know other places outside of the mall you could check out. Like the lake and stuff." Robbie nodded before continuing on. "Do you like bubble tea? I found the one and only stall selling them like two blocks away from here and they're pretty awesome. The bubble teas I mean." Robbie didn't take into account that he might very well be the only one besides Stella from school who actually knew what bubble teas even were.

"But I think there's an arcade here if you like that sorta thing. Shootin' games, dancin' games, ball dunkin' games...stuff like that."

Olivia smiled, getting out and walking was good for colds. The fresh air and movement was one of the best things she knew to kick starting the healing process after those bugs takes hold. She for one disliked being sick but not so far as to avoid those with colds. She smiled and turned to find Brooklyn off sitting and listening to music. She sighed rolling her eyes much like a mother would. "Please 'xcuse me foor a momen'" Olivia went over to her sister. "ya don't be needin to hang round if ye be wantin to go back to da dorms, be safe'n such. I know ya don't be likin' da sickuns but I'ma hang out wich em" With a smile she returned to Robbie and repositioned her bag on her shoulders.

"Alrigh' now I has to be askin' what es a booble tea?" She figured it was something yummy if he'd suggested it so readily and honesty she was game for anything tea. It was coffees that she didn't particularly enjoy something about it was just harsh and bitter to her taste buds. "I can't be sayin' I luvs to be playin' video games, but dere arre soome of de older ones dat arren't too bad."

Robbie smiled and nodded at Olivia when she excused herself to talk to her sister. He looked up at the windowed roof of the mall which showed the crazy weather he was responsible for and cringed. He needed to finish being sick. This whole being sick thing was not doing any good to the people of Pilot Ridge.

Once Olivia came back with the marvelous question about bubble tea, Robbie perked. "Oh they're these awesome milk teas that have this small black jelly-like balls which are sooo chewy and so dang good. I mean I personally never drink the teas but they do offer smoothie like drinks too. Or ice blended things. But the balls which are also called pearls elsewhere, they're the bomb." He replied excitedly through his slightly congested nose.

"Oh yeah, things like Pacman are still there though. And those race car things or like the motorcycle things those are pretty fun."

Olivia grinned. "well dey be soundin interestin enough to try. Why don ye be leadin da way den." She followed beside the boy, he seemed to chipper up talking about the funny tea and she liked chipper people. She calmly watched the people passing them and was just plain content. "Ye been her'e long? I hava admit I'v only really gotten te know me room mates. Res of da school seem perdy distractid in all wit dem selfs. Don be knowin if it'sa American tin'g or a Hammel tin'g." Sure she'd had a few boys interested in her because she's a foreign girl with an accent and an identical twin. Damn boys and their fantasies. But you were going to find that every where. In general she'd found the school in Sweden much more immediately accepting. She was trying hard not to judge the country on her limited exposure to it. That was never a polite thing to do.

As they left the mall and walked the blocks toward the bubble tea shop Olivia noted all the street names. She'd be able to find this place easily if she decided she liked Bubble tea that is.
