Powers: Cryokenesis - Alexander has the ability to manipulate ice. Alex is pretty scared to use his powers in public because sometimes he loses control and freezes almost anything once he starts. He has even woken up once with his whole bed frozen under him. He only know how to freeze when he touches them. There has been the few times he's done it mentally but they were accidental. He wants to learn how to freeze water particles mentally and even see if he can turn his body into ice. He just needs more practice. He hates the heat and has no tolerance for it. His body is always freezing and it's comfortable to him even though to others his skin is cold to the touch.

General Appearance: Alexander is average size for a boy his age. He is 5'9 and weighs about 145 pounds. He isn't very skinny or muscular. He looks to have a little muscle in his abs area but his arms are pretty skinny and lanky.
He has a young face. His baby smooth skin and pretty boy make him look no older then 14. Then you notice his size and he looks a little closer to his age. He has light blue eyes that are the most noticeable thing about them. Thats if you haven't noticed his two piercings under his lip. He has short black hair that goes down to his neck in the back.
He has a weird sense of style. He wears just about anything that looks right at the time from rubber boots to cowboy boots. In the winter he is comfortable and can be seen wearing just t-shirts and jeans. When it comes to the spring he is still alright with just shirts and jeans. In the summer it's unbearable for him. He has to wear shorts and tank tops most of the time.
Personality: Alexander is the quiet boy in the back of each class that doesn't talk much and does his work. He is a little shy when talking to people he doesn't know and when first meeting someone. When he does know someone he can be quite talkative if he likes you or not. This can be either a good thing or a bad thing. He doesn't hold his tongue and that can get him in a little bit of trouble.
Alex has a different way of expressing himself. He likes to express himself in drawings and songs that he writes. He is artistic so it gives him something to do when he isn't making icicles somewhere. He isn't very trusting of people but when you can''t trust your family because you never really had one would you trust people? I don't think so. He likes to act calm, cool and collected but most of the time is a nervous wreck.
Sometimes he likes to play the little joke on someone here and there using his powers. Thats one thing Alex is always serious about. He hopes that one day he will hopefully have full control of his powers. Sooner then later. The biggest problem with Lex is when he gets mad. When he gets mad watch out. It's a bad thing. He sometimes freezes things he touches accidentally when mad. Which is the only time he really loses his power.

History
Born to a nineteen year old woman and her boyfriend at the time. Alexander's parents did not want him and put him up for adoption. He didn't care when he was little because he didn't understand. As he grew up he kept switching from foster home to home. He never was with a family for more than 5 months. He thought that maybe the people didn't like him.
He never knew. Maybe they thought he was a bad person. He just didn't understand why. It always had him upset. When he finally found a family at 11 they let hims stay for a little bit. They enjoyed him and treated him like their own son. Around this time his powers started to manifest themselves. When he first found out about them it was totally accidental. He froze the whole backyard in July with a touch of his hand. He didn't get caught but the family was freaked out. Confused why there backyard looked like something out of a christmas special.
Alexander realized he was special and tried to hide it as much as possible. He wanted to be able to control his powers though so he practiced. At 16 he was playing around one day in his room and froze the doorknob his mother had opened the door and in fear he jumped and touched accidentally freezing her palm. In fear she threatened to call the cops and asked him to leave.
Scared about what they would do to him he filled a bag with clothes and left. He had been looking for maybe a place to stay with more people like him. When he heard of a school called the Hammel Institute. He heard of it from a recruited and knew right away it was just what he needed. He stole away onto a train to Vermont to make it to the school. This is going to be his first year there so he is beyond nervous.
Roleplay Example
From the site east brick high : Another day for Ashton in new york city. He had just left his dorm and wanted to check the school to see if he could find the basketball court. Unfortunately he wasn't doing to well in his search so far. Maybe it was hiding from him. He walked around the school about five times. He knew he saw this hallway before so, maybe he needed to go a different way.
The blonde junior had red basketball shorts and a black t-shirt on. A cup was in his hands. What was in the cup? Something that probably shouldn't be inside school but who cares. It wasn't like he was going to get caught. Really what teacher was going to ask to smell his cup? That just wasn't normal so he would continue to finish his cup of coke and vodka. A great combination for such a day.
He scratched his head as he looked around. He opened the door in front of him and there was the Auditorium. He started to walk out until he noticed a girl dancing. Now maybe she had come here for some alone time but, there was no alone time in a school. Besides he was lost so he might as well sit down and watch.
He took his phone out of his pocket and started to text something to his mom. She hadn't stopped texting him since he left. She was a little to bothered by the fact that he moved from philadelphia. He probably wouldn't understand why she was so upset. She just didn't want to lose her only son. He had to come here though. The basketball program was suppose to be spectacular and, he loved basketball.
He was off topic though. This wasn't about him though. It was about the beautiful girl dancing down there. Since he had been here all he noticed was the ladies walking the campus. It was amazing. He watched her dance for a few more minutes until he thought she was done and, started to clap. It was about time he mad his presence known.
