Here’s Dante. Sixteen and a bit of a lazy punk. His father’s opinion means everything to him, but when he’s not trying to impress his father, he’s pretty laid back. He likes to play with his guitar and take care of his plants. Of course, his super strength sometimes costs him a lot in new pots and materials, but he doesn’t mind too much. He’s a twig of a teen, but he’s much stronger than the average meta due to his ability. Dante aspires to be a pride to his father, which is why the little secret, that is kept even from himself, can totally screw up his life.

So here’s the plot! Dante needs another gay student who can help him realize his sexuality. Basically, he needs to come out of the closet. Unfortunately, Dante was raised in a homophobic family, so he hasn’t even thought about the possibility of being gay. He just thinks he’s simply not interested in anyone. Dante’s not exactly as intensely homophobic as his father, but he’s mostly clueless and tries to stay away from the topic as much as possible. So, someone needs to push him into realizing just who he is. This can either be done in a friendly manner, in which a gay friend tries to make him realize his sexuality, or in a romantic manner, in which said gay friend ends up falling for the clueless Dante and tries to get past his stubbornness so they can be together. I’m open to either, as long as Dante ends up out of the closet and in his dad’s line of fire if he finds out. I guarantee, meeting daddy should be fun. XD

Besides that, Dante could always use some friends, enemies, even some girls that he can use to try to figure out his sexuality with. He’s open to any and all plots, so feel free to make suggestions! We’re pretty much open to anything, so post your ideas below! :3

Thomas wouldn't get romantically involved with Dante. As soon as I read the title, I actually assumed they would be enemies. But that could possibly work out in Dante's favor. If Dante and him got in enough of a tizzie, an argument could lead to a subconsciously driven kiss on Dante's part, and a FURIOUS Thomas. But again, this doesn't really help with Dante's being in his dad's line of fire. Let me know if this helps at all, and I can see what would work?

Hmmm...that could really get interesting. Dante isn't forthright with his homophobia, but if Thomas got Dante aggravated enough about the subject, Dante might just burst and kiss him to prove that he found it disgusting. Which, of course, would backfire. xD I like it. Maybe Thomas could be helping Dante's power trainer so they have a starting point. Think Thomas can handle Dante's super strength until their lovely argument?

Oh the ad won me over. Rhett will, most definitely, not be a friend, but he can, as a personal challenge, try to get Dante to admit he's gay, embrace it and stop whining about fearing his father.... or something like that...

warning: it's probable that nothing of the aforementioned happens and instead it's just a randomly funny situation of Rhett teasing and bothering someone because that's just the way he is.

...Er. Um. That may or may not have been my initial reaction after having read this. I don't have any students that can help you with your plot. And in fact, the only person who could service your plot would more or less show up after this plot is underway, but I thought I'd offer my services anyways. xD

Basically, as the cbox discussed, a character of mine- Cobalt- had a very similar childhood drama and now is ALMOST ALMOST resolved it. Thirty five years later >.> What I'm saying is, if they ever met, Cobalt could potentially give him words of wisdom (stop laughing, he can be wise, I swear!) and mostly be "I know where you're at, and I promise it ends up okay", and hopefully help out your character so Dante doesn't end up like Cobalt >.> So, it's an idea a long ways away, but I figured I'd throw it out there anyways. <3

EDIT: oh derp. Also, I have FRIENDS potentially for him. Jean is 13 and rowdy and they could get into trouble. And Estelle is 16 and sweet, but not really a datable one. More of a "geek out with" person xD the other of my characters are too young or too old to connect with Dante as I see it now, but if I think or something, I shall let you know :3

I'm really looking forward to having these two interact! It'll be fun to have someone aggravate Dante over the subject, especially because Rhett will know, but Dante will have no idea and will deny like hell. Really looking forward to this thread. ^^


Rhett&Cobalt:

I think it would be interesting to have Cobalt act as sort of a mentor figure to poor Dante. Since Cobalt went through a pretty similar situation, it would be good for Dante to have someone to talk to about the whole thing. Whether their interaction would be a one time deal where Cobalt simply gives him some much needed advice or if they actually would get close is pretty much up to them once we get there, methinks. ^^ But I really think having them meet eventually would be a good idea. This will probably be a ways off, but I'm soooo psyched already!


Rhett&Estelle:

I think they could be good friends. ^^ Dante's pretty laid back, and Estelle is sweetheart. Her understanding nature can really come in handy once he finds out about his sexuality. Plus, she just looks like a great person to talk to, and I've been secretly stalking her. >.> shhhh! but yes, I'd love for them to have some fun times together. ^^


Jean&Dante:

I'm not sure about these two. Jean's a cutey (he's actually roommates with my other character, Ariana ) but I don't really know what the two of them would do. Dante doesn't really interact much with those younger than him. They could have a random encounter. Maybe Jean can catch Dante looking after his plants. ^^ I'm open here if you have any other suggestions. :3
