Anna woke up to the sound of her Music playing Ludo's lake pontchartrain. With a fair bit of moaning and groaning she pulled herself out of the bed. She stumbled to her dresser and pulled out a drawer. There was no organization in this as she reached her hand in and pulled out random articles of clothing before she found the shirt she wanted. Almost all her clothes were hand me downs from her older sister Amber. Kind of like how her bike was hand me down from her brother Adam, and how all her stuff would be handed down to her younger siblings. There were eight of them all together. There was Adam, age 25, and a Doctor. There was Amber, age 21, and going to school for art therapy. Annabella, or Anna as she likes to be called, who was 17. Then Ashley, age 13, Artemis (a guy) who was 10. Then the twins, Annie and Alexis who a were five, and finally the baby Amanda, who was 3 months. Their parents had started at only 18. Shoot Adam was born nine months to the day of their marriage.
It was odd if you thought about it, how different all the kids turned out to be. Ashley was the type of people who never shut up about any thing. Artemis was quiet and shy, spending most of his nights in his room with a computer. Annie loved dance, Alexis loved sports. Adam was cold and logical, Amber was the stereotypical artist and Anna… Anna was something alright. She was the quiet sarcastic one. If she said something then it was important. She was the musician. The one who saved up her money, not to buy new clothes, not to buy a bike, but to buy a Violin. She was closer to Adam and Artemis, then to her sisters because she was logical like them. But that wasn't the only thing that made her different. In this family of brown hair, she was the blond haired freak. And since she was eleven it got worse. That was the first time she traveled. Travel…that was what she called it now. It was a good was to hidden it from the world around her. A world that hated her.
She could remember the first time she did it. She didn't mean to of course. She was just day dreaming about going home and going into the woods behind her house in class, then suddenly, she was there. But at the same time she wasn't. She couldn't talk, she couldn't touch anything, but she was still there.
She made the mistake of telling her friend, who told their mom, who freaked out. There was a lot of hate in the community after that, and the whole family had to leave. Anna had been afraid that her family would hate her. But they didn't, they hated the community for hating her. But it didn't matter any way, a few weeks passed and Hammel found her.
Speaking of Hammel institute that was where Anna was going again. She had been back home for Christmas, and now she had a morning flight back to hammel from Mississippi. As she grabbed the cloths she had decided to pack last night, and put them in her suitcase. She closed it and began the decent down the stairs.
She thought in her head about the conversation her and mom had the day before. Her mom was worried that Anna wasn't the last to have powers. Artemis was next up, as he turned eleven in a few months. Anna could only hope for his sake that if he had powers he would be smart enough not to tell any one outside the family. To tell the truth Anna had been relieved that Ashley's eleventh birth day came and passed with no powers showing.
As Anna reached the bottom floor and entered the living room, she saw her whole family sitting there, mom dad and kids. Even her older siblings were there. As usual they hugged, Anna kissed Amanda's head as she slept, and she hugged her mom.
"Mom don't worry, if they come to school with me, I will watch over them. Everything will be fine." She said.Behind the M A S K . . .Name: Summer

How did you find us?: Top ten siteShow your S K I L L S . . .Gerda looked up as another girl....skipped? what the hell was she doing? What could she not just walk? Any way she was....somthing-ing over to Gerda. Gerda felt that sinking feeling in her stomach that she got when ever she realized that she was about to be confronted by some one who was...sweet.....God she hated sweet. Probably because she was...well not. Gerda was loud and rude and crud. She swore, she fought, all that good stuff. Besides, in her experience the “sweet” girls were the ones talking about her behind her back about her, and saying nothing good.
Her she raised her eyebrows as this girl prattled on. She was so...sweet....Gerda felt like she was going to throw up a rainbow, or die of type two diabetes. She suddenly had the urge to kill a care bear to balance the sweetness out. She searched for words to say to express her feelings, finally she came up with two, just two. “Bird, friends?” She said in disbelief. What the hell? Bird friends? What the heck was going on in this school? Were people really going around talking to random wildlife.
