About Egan :
Egan is a somewhat quiet, shy young man. He is 15 years old, in his second year at Hammel Institute, and wants nothing more than to be out already. He is the second, and last, son of Emberly and John Monroe, and the stepson of Will Fox. Egan was born and raised in Vermont, but though he was raised by Will Fox, he always has and always will see his birth father John as his real father. John died when Egan was only 6 months old, so he never really knew him, but he likes to think his Papa was a better man than his Dad, though he’d never say that out loud. He does whatever he can to please his parents, his father especially, since he knows his dad isn’t very proud of him. His dad isn’t what one would call a fan of homosexuality and gay marriage and such, and with Egan being so soft spoken and loving children and housework, he is very wary of the boy. He has Egan play sports in school all year ‘round, though Egan doesn’t mind. He likes soccer the best, and plays center field, but he isn’t bad at football either, where he plays as the team’s kicker. He is straight, but, contrary to the stereotype, Egan would much rather be cooking and cleaning with his mother and being around kids than on the playing field.
His plans for life are a bit uncertain, but he would like to be a speech therapist for children. He is shy when it comes to groups of three or more people, but when he is just one-on-one with someone, especially a child, he opens up and can talk fairly easily. If the speech therapist plan doesn’t work out, however, Egan thinks he would like to be a writer and perhaps an editor.
Friends :
Egan will definitely need friends. He is very shy in public, so friends are hard for him to come by. He gets picked on a lot by bigger kids who see him as weak and girly, but he is honestly just a very quiet, kind person who lives to serve. He doesn’t think very highly of himself, but he doesn’t think incredibly poorly of himself either, so there will be no worrying about dealing with a depressed kid or anything. He treats his friends as best as he knows how, and respects them dearly.
Enemies :
Enemies should be abundant as well. Egan is definitely quiet, and allows people to pick on him, though one must do so at one’s own risk. His older brother would quickly kick anyone’s ass if he thought it necessary. A lot of kids at school, however, don’t like him being on the sports teams because he is so quiet and shy, and definitely incapable of really sticking up for himself. They see him as a wannabe, or a Mama’s boy, which he totally is, and that isn’t tolerated very well at this age.
Lovers :
Egan has never had a girlfriend, or a kiss, or anything of the like. He doesn’t think he has any desire right now to date, but that could change if the right girl came along.

About Taci :
Taci’s abilities were discovered, both by her and Hammel, during an arrest when she was 15 years old, two years ago. That should tell you a lot already. She was born and raised in a small town in Virginia, but she didn’t let that stop her from trying to become greater than she had a right to be. Her years were spent mostly at friends’ houses, partially in an attempt to avoid her mother, who would get semi drunk after work every night and yell at her, and her father, who spent most of his time away on “business trips” anyway. When Taci was eleven, her parents had a very explosive fight, and after some things were broken, the divorce was settled, the money was split, and custody was decided upon, Taci went home with her father and met her five year old brother and future step mother. She didn’t change her ways, though, and was arrested numerous times for underage drinking.
She was sent to Hammel at age fifteen, but she doesn’t plan to let this place stop her from taking over. She’s determined to either win the hearts of her peers or crush them through fear, blackmailing, intimidation, and perhaps an accidental use of her powers here and there and everywhere. If she can get away with it, she’ll do it, and if she can’t get away with it, she won’t care. She’ll do it anyway.
Friends :
Taci is definitely going to need some little minion back-up singers. She’s the Queen Bee of Hammel, bitches, and she needs her worker bees. She has a very snarky, lead-the-pack sort of attitude, and she won’t be afraid to bash the people her friends don’t like and make their lives Hell. She treats her friends kindly, but is very insistent on what they do and how they do it. If you don’t conform to her standards, she’ll make sure you regret it, but if you do, she’ll treat you like a best friend and give you access to all of her resources.
Enemies :
These will need to be plentiful as well. Cruel woman trying to take over all of Hammel’s students either through fear or bribing? That will definitely deserve a lot of enemies. When she first meets a person, she starts out flirty, saucy, sweet, and overall any positive thing she can be to try and bring them to her side. If she fails, then she immediately goes to the extreme. If she thinks they are worth her time, she’ll try to hypnotize them into befriending her, or at least believing that she is a very nice person. Of course there are problems with that idea, so when she inevitably fails, she will try to all out tear them down. She’ll spread rumors, threaten them, scare them, do anything she can to make them so afraid of her that they won’t even think of bowing down. Resistance? There definitely will be some.
Lovers :
Come on. Seventeen year old, gorgeous, soulless ginger keen on partying and sexing it up the rest of her life? If she thinks you’re hot, and you’re a male, you’re in. She loves one-night-stands and open relationships, but if you try to pin her down, you’ll find a pretty pissed off Bee in your hand. One-night-stands are definitely her favorite, though, and if you come bringing gifts of chocolates, alcohol, or any sort of drug, then she’ll do basically anything for you.

About Thane :
Thane is a 29 year old ex police officer who was recently hired as one of Hammel’s security guards. He was born and raised in Scotland with his mother, father, and dog. He has a thick Scottish accent that can be heard here. He was raised in a bad part of a small village, and it was not uncommon for him to get in fights from being mugged or stare down the barrel of a gun. It was this daily life-threatening risk that convinced Thane that he wanted to become a police officer. His parents, however, did not approve, wanting him to focus on his theatre rather than dealing with further crime and danger. When he was 20, he came to America to take care of his ailing grandmother who lived in Boston. For four years he studied criminal justice at Boston University and took care of his grandmother. She passed away when he was 24, leaving Thane plenty of money and a house outside the city. Thane remained in the home for four years, but when his grandmother’s cat died, he decided that there was nothing left keeping him there and that it was time to strike out and find his dream job. He wanted a job where he could help people before it was too late, use his abilities to their best capacity, and befriend those he was trying to protect. About a month after searching, Thane found his dream job at Hammel Institute.
Personality-wise, he is a pretty laid back, chill guy who never takes anything seriously unless he’s on duty. He finds most things funny and few things insulting, and is willing to let minor crimes roll off his shoulders. But when he is on duty he can be stern, insistent, and overall the police officer he was trained to be.
Friends :
Thane will need friends. He is, as I said, pretty laid back about everything and gets along with most types of people. He hates it when others try to pick a fight, but beyond that, he doesn’t really mind different personality types.
Enemies :
Just being a security guard should get Thane a lot of enemies, and people who do try to pick fights will find themselves with a face full of angry Thane. He’s going to try to keep enemies out of his life, but they are inevitable, so fill him up.
Lovers :
Thane hasn’t had a significant other since college, and now that he has a place of his own, a steady job, and he’s getting up there in years, he definitely needs one. He doesn’t believe in having sex until after several months of dedicated dating with a life-long commitment in mind, so be prepared for that, but otherwise, he has no idea what he wants in a girl, so hit him up.

), but when the time came to actually be around him, she’d flirt the hell out of him and pretty much forget about her jealousy until they were apart again. These two will absolutely be a blast, and we must thread them soon!
