General Appearance:
From top to button Netti is pretty satisfied with her looks. She always does whatever she can to look good, but she is not bound by her looks. She does whatever she wants but she like to have pretty nails and perfect hair. But it wouldn’t stop her from jumping in a mud fight.
She has never been particularly high, and have never weighed that much. She is barely around the 160 cm tall and weighs just 49 kg.
Her eyes have always been her special mark. But she does uses some kind of dolly linces sometime. But whatever she does with her eyes they are mostly warm and friendly. They may seem a bit dreamy and when she finally sits far away in her own world.
Natalie's hair is brown. It is easy to be curling, and are for the most part, concentrated in a few different hairstyle. She likes working with her hair, but other times she doesn’t do much about it. She tends, however, with hair care products.
Her hair is not very thick, but she can easily get it to fill, and still be beautiful.
Her skin is a bit pale. Even if she is out in the sun she takes care of her skin and is making sure that it’s protected with the right among of sun block. She does what she can to protect herself and her skin, not just in the sun.
She likes to have a nice body so also this is she taking care of. She is making sure to exercise a bit every day.
Nathaly has a very wide dress code. She goes in both fashion and cheap imitations because she cannot always afford the real thing. Nathaly likes to look cute, and this is also one of the reasons that she goes into the kind of clothes she makes. It is most important to her is the earring in their family's flower lily mark. A pair of earrings is a family heirloom for several years, hundreds.
Personality:
Nathaly has always had a lot of different faces. She had always changed her personality based on who she is around.
At home, she was the smiling, happy and helpful daughter. While she was the perfect girl who could walk in her American step dad footsteps in the company he started in the U.S.
With her friends she again was a different girl. She was somewhat like a big sister, but could also be a brat. She knows how to take care of others, and she does too happily. But she is the more mischievous, brave, smiling, friendly and flirty girl. This is the traits of her that is strongest at her. She is still a girl that tries to make everyone happy, but her a bit childish personality will at most points in the end shine through.
Nathaly does not like having enemies so she does not know really how to be facing them. Yet she knows that she has them. She don’t like thinking about them because she does has a temperament that can be quite uncomfortable to be around.
Opposite the new people she can either be talking, annoying, or dung shy, this is never to be known. It depends on who you are when you get to know her, or what day you catch her and who you are with. Everything has something to do with how Nathaly would behave.
Has she had a good day, she is very smiley and friendly. She loves to have speed. Love to have the wind under the wings, and loves to make trouble in a good way.

History

Nathaly was born at a Japanese hospital, in a small suburb of Tokyo.

Miyoko, (Nathaly mother) had had a wonderful childhood. She was raised with a lot of money. Her father owned a big company in Japan. So already from a very young age she was put into strict training. They wanted the little girl to be the perfect daughter and wife as soon as it became a necessity. The family thought of it all. They had even made it clear that Miyoko would marry a son from a nearby company.

Nathalys Japanese dad also had a good childhood. His was a bit more harsh and maybe that was the reason he wanted to feel the love his parents didn’t show him. Maybe that was the reason to why Miyoko got pregnant outside of the Marriage.

The family couldn’t accept that Miyoko got pregnant outside of a marriage so they pushed her away and a few years after she was in US marriage to American man. Nathaly grew up in a family a lot like the family Miyoko came from. A family with a lot of rules but without a lot of love. The adults love each other, but Nathaly didn’t understand love.

Nathaly began instead to make trouble. In school she wouldn’t sit still. She wouldn’t do her homework, or just skipped classes. She didn’t wanted to attend and only at the age of 8 she had more time off from class than in class. But then a new neighbor moved in. They had a boy at the same age as Nathaly. They two ended up playing a lot together while the presents talked.
Nathaly didn’t like him to start with. He annoyed her and made her do all kind of stuff. But she began to spend more time with him. He went with her to school, and he didn’t make fun of her. She was different because she tried to balance the US and Japanese traditions her mother struggled to maintain.

Her mom knew that Nathaly would need to learn so she had tried from a early age to teach Nathaly Japanese so if she was ever contacted she could answer them without making a mess out of everything. Because she knew that one day Nathaly’s dad’s family would try and contract her. Because they never liked that Miyoko moved to begin with.

From the day Nathaly discovered that she was going to have a younger sister she had a lot of mixed feelings. And as troubled as Nathaly was she did pack a bag of clothing a left the house. First she wanted to go to the neighbor kid but change her mind and ended up on the streets. Here she started to hang out with a smaller gang.

It was through the gang Nathaly discovered that she was very flexible and that she got power. She had always been, but after she had entered that gang she really recognized it. She liked jumping around at it was also here that she learned to fight back. She really enjoyed being with the gang. They did all kind of stuff. Nathaly never made it all the way to the top in rank but still she was the leaders right hand in so many thing that if ever the leader wouldn’t be a part of the gang Nathaly would be the one to take over.

After a few years Nathaly started at the school. She was merely 14 years old, and started to learn more and more about her own power. It was hard and a tuff work, but because she had the opportunity to whenever she wanted to just go outside and do some workout it helped her a lot. Because she wanted to move more than just her mind.
For Nathaly leaving the gang wasn’t easy. It was only because she had started moving all kind of stuff and hadn’t had any way of controlling it. So someone came and took her to the school. Someone that started to be a special person in Nathaly’s heart.

It was on the school she soon started to learn about her real Japanese father in Japan. She learned that he was dead and that the family wanted her back so she could help them getting an heir. Nathaly didn’t wanted to come to Japan. First and foremost she wasn’t sure of the language and that would be a big trouble. Her mom had tried to learn he a lot of Japanese, but some of it just hadn’t stuck to her mind. For the second Nathaly was pretty satisfied with the school she is on right now, and the teachers properly wouldn’t be happy if they had to take her out. Even though she would end up in the Japanese school in Japan.

Roleplay Example

Not being home the last two days due to a new show, and without that much sleep, Shinjiro though he could sleep all day. But when he came home he started to do all sorts of stuff that needed to be done. He lived alone and had done that for over three and a half year now. He was really happy to live alone. The apartment he had gotten was not that big, and a lot of people lived around him. But he had gotten the apartment just before he had his Debut in a smaller but apparently important role in a drama series.

He had gotten the maid male role in a new and very popular series. A show a lot of people had seen as a Anima or read a Manga. A show a lot of people was looking forward to watch. Everyone was rooting for him, so he didn’t wanted to let anyone down, but this episode had almost taken two days to shoot. In the end he was gotten tired and really annoyed. He didn’t wanted to snap so he had been a lot on his own. Even his co-star couldn’t be that close to him, and they really had started to get a good flow between them.

So after not being able to get a lot of sleep during to shooting, and a lot of driving he had really needed sleep. In his apartment everything was like he left it. A lot was needed to be done, and before he knew he had started doing a lot of cleaning. And it was first after that he had the opportunity to get to bed.

The knocking was loud and clear. To loud and way to clear. Shinjiro wished for it to be a dream, but it seemed why to clear.
”hai, Hai…” the words wasn’t that loud, so it would be impossible for the person on the other side of the door to hear him. He tried to get out of bed, but before he could make his legs work he hit the floor.
”itai..” he mumbled and was almost on his feet’s when he hear the door get opened. He narrowed his eyes to listened, and to think. Who could it possibly be on this time?

This is an okay start, but she needs some work. Please look at our Joining Guide and the links listed there, particularly the Information on Powers and FAQ.

First of all, is her name Nathaly or Nathalie? It switches back and forth in the application.

Telekinesis and Biological Manipulation (healing) are two very different powers. Pick only one of these.

What this application needs most is focus. Her personality is all over the place. Pick a few personality traits and focus on them, good as well as bad. When there are too many conflicting traits, characters are play with, since they become inconsistent.

Her history also needs to be narrowed down and clarified. The family section had her father as the heir to the school, but the history said it was her mother whose parents owned the school. If her father is an English nobleman, why does he have a Japanese name? Why is he living in the US? Why would he kick her out of the house at eleven?

Other than her family, what were these betrayals? They're mentioned once, but not what they were or how they actually affected her. How did she train in martial arts if she was homeless?

Also, telekinesis is difficult to control, and Hammel would have found her and brought her in to train within two weeks of her power first manifesting. Same thing with biological manipulation.

A lot of the same issues are still here. She can either heal wounds or have telekinesis. Not both.

What I meant with the personality is that it needed to be focused because it is currently conflicting. Is she happy and helpful and the perfect daughter? Or is a troublemaker? Is she brave, friendly, and flirty? Or is she shy? There needs to be some consistency.

There are still a lot of things that don't make sense with her history. The family section still says her father's family owned the school, the history says her mother's did. Why does she have an American name?

And while I could understand parents kicking out an eighteen-year-old troublemaker, but not an eleven-year-old. I suggest removing this from the application entirely.

And if she has been at Hammel since she was eleven, what has she been doing? That is a big chunk of her life, so explore that.

Not Quite

I share some of Tony's concerns with Nathaly's application. There's some good stuff here, but as he said, there is a lack of focus. You're trying to fit multiple character types into one application. That said, I'm going to give you some very specific suggestions for focusing because that may help you see where some of the problems are.

While I understand that people can be shy sometimes and extroverted at others, characters need a bit more consistency. I note that she began acting out after her sister was born, so perhaps the shy and helpful personality traits were ones that became subsumed by jealousy, and so her parent's bemoan that their sweet daughter changed so much. As well, since she joined a gang and reveled in having power, I find it difficult to accept that she wouldn't be up for confronting enemies unless her preferred method of dealing with them is to be manipulative and passive-aggressive.

As far as her history and joining the gang I am not quite sure when she was recruited for Hammel and when she manifested because there is too much the school and it is never clear which school is meant. Please clarify that for me.

I am with Tony in being confused as to why she has the name Nathaly if she is Japanese. Did her mother just like the name? Or did she give her this name when she married the American so that her daughter would better fit in with her peers?

The history is definitely much clearer at this point. Thank you for editing that.

The personality, however, still needs a bit narrower of a focus. While it is reasonable to assume that she would react differently around different people what I would really like to know is which personality traits are strongest? Which ones does she have difficulty changing person to person? Just a little more explanation of which traits are the most prominent will help.

As another note, what color are her eyes? Are they brown or are they blue-green? And if they're blue-green does her family have some European ancestry? (This is possible, particularly if she were born on Okinawa; the military base there saw many women marrying American soldiers.)
