Name: Jezebel Nicoleta Ivaskov
Nicknames: Jez, Bell, Jeni.
Age: 11.
Orientation: Heterosexual.
Desired Rank/Job: Student
Powers: Musical Psychometry.
Musical Psychometry-- The ability to hear a piece of music and know the thoughts and emotions behind it, what the songwriter was thinking as the music came together. If more than one person was involved in the writing of the song, then the "strongest" thought or emotion would be felt, although never a fully-formed thought, more like bits and pieces, half-sentences, sort of like jingles. If the song was just written for the sake of writing a song, like a song for a commercial, then there will likely be no emotions or thoughts behind it, except perhaps a mild sense of frustration and writer's block.
If Jez has the sheet music in which the song was written, and plays the song on an instrument (while singing it if there are lyrics), the thoughts and feelings are very much clearer, very near to being complete and fully-formed. This part of the power relies on the user's ability to read and play sheet music.
Side-effects to this power include migranes, fainting temporarily, and even losing consciousness for hours at a time when she hears a particularly emotionally strong piece. She is supposed to wear earplugs to block out unexpected music for the time being, but she tends to leave them in her room, therefore making it more common for her to faint in the middle of a walk because somebody passed by with music playing.

The Details
Hair Color: Light Brown.
Eye Color: Bright Blue.
Any Piercings? None.
Any Tattoos? None.
Any Scars? None.
General Appearance:
Jez is what one may call "petite" or "delicate". She is also what one might call "short" or "scrawny", but she was raised to be delicate and graceful, so for the moment we will use those words. Jez has a build that is very small-boned, her arms and legs seeming a relatively decent length even though she's been in the middle of many growth spurts recently. Her skin is rather pale, in combination with her wide blue eyes and wavy curls making her seem, at times, like a painted porcelain doll.
Jez has a smile that is uneven. A twisted canine tooth keeps her just off from having a perfect set of teeth, and her bottom lip is fuller than the top by quite a bit. But not only that, the way Jez smiles makes one think of unbalance. It comes more naturally to Jez to smile with one side more than the other, and is uncomfortable in the situations in which she meets a person and smiles with an even amount of muscle use on each side of her mouth.
Seeing as she's so young, there are no real curves on her to really speak of. The only visible difference between her and a young boy would be the hair length and the skirts.
Personality:
Jezebel Ivaskov is what you would call "Not Normal". And I don't mean in the way that she's meta, or that she doesn't fit in with the societal category of what is considered to be perfectly "Normal". What is implied here is far stranger than that. Jez, at any time but especially when speaking English, acts as if she is a character in Alice in Wonderland. Her English vocabulary includes words such as brillig, contrarywise, and tulgey, and she attatches her own meaning to them, assuming that everyone else will know what she's talking about when she uses those words.
Jez loves people. She loves to meet new people from different places and talk to them. Although she is like her brother in the way that she tries to be very formal and polite until she grows fond of them, Jez generally grows fond of people very quickly, and because she likes to hear people's stories, she tends to forget her manners and ask questions that, under the ruling of politeness and formalities, would not always be considered proper. She dislikes it when people don't want to talk to her about something she wants to know, but chalks it up to people being strange, as they so often are in books.
Jez can be very impatient. Perhaps this is a result of her upbringing, but even if she doesn't make efforts to outwardly express her impatience with a person/situation, one might feel the waves of irritation radiating from the small girl. Another thing Jez can be is very naive. She'll likely believe anything someone says, no matter how outrageous the tale, if she doesn't already know better on the subject they are speaking of. This can lead to false information being passed about because of one small thing that a person says, and also to the poor girl being even more heavily mislead. If she does correct a person in an outrageous tale, it would be to insert her opinion on a fact that actually makes stories more outrageous.
Jez also very much dislikes being called "short". You can call her any other word and she will take it as a compliment, but in
English, the word short is the worst thing you could say about her. She uses her highly effective Alice-reasoning when telling a person off about why they should not call her short, although usually the only reason it would ever get a person to agree is by being extremely confusing.

History
Jezebel Ivaskov was born into a well-established family with well-established wealth, and well-established inter-personal relationships. She always knew, from the moment she could understand such things, that her brother did not get along with her father. It was always the one constant in her life, the fact that Big Brother Lucah just never got along quite right with Papa, who loved her, the little angel princess, more than the world. Well, not the one constant. The other one was that she could not remember her mother one bit, not remember her laugh, her smile, her hair, or even her smell. Lucah could. She was jealous of him for that--still is. It was the one thing that she ever held against him for any amount of time.
As she grew up, kept in mostly by her father's side in their home in Romania, Jez was severely overprotected by her father--some may even go so far as to say he coddled her, spoiled her. Nearly anything she wanted, she got it. Sweets, a new dress, a violin, a necklace? She asked for it, turning her sweet blue eyes on her father, and it was allowed. As she got older, she stopped asking for those kinds of things, though. She asked for books, and that was it.
Practically locked away in her own home, Jezebel needed a friend, and her big brother was precisely that. There was something she knew from the time she could talk, and it was that Lucah made for the best company, conversation or not. Although her father disliked Lucah, Dimitri Ivaskov had nothing to say about the siblings' relationship, although Jez decided at one point to make it a point to stop speaking to her father about why, exactly, he treated Lucah like he did. He never gave the answer Jez wanted to hear, the words he doled out in relation to Lucah not ever pure or kind ones.
One day, Dimitri brought home a book that was in English, the title Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking Glass catching her attention, although she had a relatively small English vocabulary at the time (an overall relatively small vocabulary, actually--she was only five at the time). Once she began reading the book, she began to challenge herself, learning as much English as she could so that she could finish reading that book. She picked up words that she gave her own meaning, and was given fanciful ideas of the adventures of girls who spoke English had. She tried to share these ideas and amazing words with Lucah, but that was one of the few things he did not agree with her on.
With how close Jez had grown with her brother, it was a painful shock when, at the age of six she woke up the day after a particularly terrible argument between her father and brother to discover one day that Lucah was just... Gone. She didn't understand, at the time, that it was necessary, and that he only left because he had no real choice. It was explained to her that he would be a danger if he had stayed and not gone to Kocher, the school for people with amazing powers like Lucah had. At one point, Father had taken Jez to visit her brother at the school. This simply reinforced her idea that Alice's adventures could have truly happened, meeting people with such strange and interesting powers. It was something that her father did not need happening, her being so attached to her brother, nor did he need her being more than politely tolerant of the Meta-humans. So she was not allowed to visit her brother again, left only to write him letters when she truly missed him, which ended up being nearly every day.
Because of her training in music, and her love of it, Jez's father began to take her to the orchestra when he could, and it became something that Jez looked very much forward to as a lovely, dreamy treat every so often. As she herself grew, so did her love of music, and so it became habit to, once weekly, ask her father if they would be going to the orchestra again soon, to which he always answered "yes".
At one point, just about the age of eleven, Jez was at the orchestra with her father, as was normal, when something strange happened. She was sitting, listening to the opening music as she usually did, her heart pounding with the excitement of it all, when she got a piercing headache, which was unusual for the girl. She wasn't put off by it though, and put it to the back of her mind as best she could, continuing to listen to the music pouring out from the assembled instrumentalists. The next thing Jez remembers is the music being gone. She was sitting, but then suddenly not. She was in the hospital somehow, her father standing and talking to people by the doorway of her room. Whatever they were saying, Jez remembers thinking that it was making father upset. He looked angry and... Defeated. Like something dreadful had happened that he could do nothing about.
Jez opened her mouth and spoke, her small voice calling out to ask her father what was wrong. He came to her side after a hateful look at the people he was talking to , and they followed him. One was a doctor, obviously, if one were to judge by appearances. The other was, well, not. He discussed with Jez what he did and why he was there, that she had fainted at the orchestra because she had a power that involved music and its emotions. Jez was fascinated with this revelation, and excited to go to the school her brother had gone to. Although she would need to figure out a way to get to America like Lucah did, so that she could be with him.
When she began attending Kocher haute école pour les surdoués, she immediately made a friend that was from England named Judi. She learned Jez's full name and began calling her Jeni for the first two letters of her first two names, and the two girls were inseparable. But Jez had put in an application to transfer to the Hammel Institute in America, where she would be able to be with her brother. Three months after her request, despite her father's extreme dislike of the idea and simple response of a weary "fine" when she told him it would make her much happier, Jez was allowed to transfer from Kocher and begin attending the Hammel Institute.
After a tearful goodbye with Judi, Jez packed her few things, caged JubJub securely, and headed out, ready to take on America, and very excited to see her brother again.
