The Basics
Name: Andrea, Michaela, Lewis-Wells
Nicknames: Andi
Age: Seventeen
Orientation: Heterosexual, but open to new things
Desired Rank/Job: Student
Powers: Assumed Muscle Memory ; Like most others with this power, Andi needs only to study one's movements one or two times, and she can complete them with near expertise. This is how she began learning to dance and play guitar, though more often than not she simply relies on practice via repetition. Unfortunately, the worst side-effect of Andi's ability is that once she learns something new and tries to do it on her own she tends to get horrible cramps and stiffness in her muscles. It passes in anywhere from a couple of minutes to a few hours, but is painful enough to cause occasional black-outs if she doesn't ease into the newly learned skill slowly. Also, any skills she learned via her ability are at risk of being lost if she doesn't do them quite often.

The Details
Hair Color: Brown, often dyed bright colors
Eye Color: Blue
Any Piercings? Navel
Any Tattoos? Small blue butterfly on the left side of her neck just below the hairline
Any Scars? None
General Appearance:
Definitely one to stick out in a crowd, Andi is often dressed in bright colors, bold patterns, and wearing striking (though attractive) shades of make-up. It's nothing for her to rock bright pinks, purples, and deep blues and still look good, instead of clownish. Feeling her clothes and make-up aren't good enough for a real statement, Andi changes her hair color so often people have stopped trying to keep up with it. Her naturally brunette locks are typically highlighted with pinks, reds, blues, purples, yellow, orange, and black - though not all at the same time.
Standing at 5'6" tall and weighing anywhere between 120-127 pounds depending on how much chocolate is around at any given time, Andi is light-weight and slender in an attractive way that few fail to notice. She's filled out nicely over the years, a fact she uses to her benefit whenever possible.
Finding tattoos attractive - so long as there's not more ink than skin, it's not surprising she's already been stamped with her first round of ink, which she got her mom to approve as a gift for her seventeenth birthday. On the left side of her neck directly between her spine and ear is an inch-wide butterfly with electric blue wings. Easily concealable behind her long mass of thick hair, Andi has to flash the small creature to people or they likely won't notice. Even if her hair is up in a ponytail or a bun, it's often hidden from view - something her mother requested, else the ink would have gone on the inside of her wrist where she'd originally wanted it.
Personality:
There are very few people who can make an entrance the way Andrea can. Loud, proud, outgoing and the absolute farthest thing from shy, this teen has yet to find anything she won't try at least once. She's an adrenaline junkie, often doing amazingly stupid things just to do them, regardless of the fact over half of them could kill her. But what's life without a little bit of risk, right?
A social butterfly to the max, Andi surrounds herself with people as often as she possibly can, preferring to burst right in during the height of the action and make herself known. Parties, clubs, fights, sewing circles, anywhere she can find someone to talk to, you can bet Andi will be there. Knowing that there's more to a person than how they look (how could she not, with the way she dresses?), Andi is seen hanging around all kinds of people. Anyone she can get along with is a friend in her book. Andi has no problem being with sporty people, teachers, slackers, over-achievers, fighters, lovers, you name it. She's always got a smile for everyone, something that instantly attracts people to her.
In fact, Andi is always so happy and cheerful that few people know there's certainly a much darker, violent side to her. While she's often the one trying to break tension and side-step conflict, everyone has a breaking point; everyone. Andi is no different, and when her temper finally bubbles over and explodes, anyone in the way will quickly regret not moving. When her temper finally snaps, violence isn't her first answer though. Andi will attempt to disarm you and avoid throwing fists by verbally kicking the crap out of you. It's amazing, the ugly things that can come out of such a pretty mouth.
Problem is, sometimes things go past a verbal conflict and Andi can't help herself; fists start flying. A big fan of action movies, Andi's ability has allowed her to pick up countless forms of street fighting, martial arts, boxing, you name it. Just from watching the moves a couple of times, Andi is nearly as good as any student who's trained since they were young, meaning she's damn near lethal. She'll do whatever it takes to get at whoever pissed her off and if that means plowing through people who did nothing wrong, so be it - even if they're her friends. Once she gets her frustration out, she'll go back to her happy, loving, seemingly harmless self, though it usually takes a little longer than that for people to forget what they'd seen her do and move on. This is why she tries to keep her temper down and not scrap so much, since she doesn't like losing friends.
Or boyfriends, for that matter. While Andi is a casual dating sort of girl, she's had her fair share of committed relationships and heartbreak. This is why she tends to avoid official titles and expectations, keeping guys around more for fun than anything serious. It's nothing for this girl to be seen with a different boy every week or so, which of course feeds rumors about what she does with them behind closed doors. Not that much goes on, usually. Andi doesn't want to end up the way her mom did and goes out of her way to try to keep herself in check when it comes to sex and guys. In fact, she says "no" more often than she'll say "yes," but she lets people think what they want; after all, it's really none of their business what she does with her boy toys, now, is it? She'll own up to being a tease, and there's no denying that she's a flirt; but a slut? She doesn't openly dispute it, but she doesn't think that's the case.
When a guy manages to get attached to Andi, she sometimes finds herself getting jealous when he's hanging out with other girls regardless of the fact it's perfectly ok since, after all, they're not technically "together" or anything. She's got a nasty habit of putting a claim on a boy until she's done with him and they decide to be just friends or go their separate ways. She tries to use being attractive to sway girls away from the boys she's interested in, which means when she's genuinely interested in a guy, she doesn't have a whole lot of girl friends to hang out with. She's ok with saying she's sorry when she knows she was in the wrong, but typically that doesn't happen when it comes to boys. After all, all's fair in love and war. Right?
While anybody will attest to Andi being a good friend, few can say she's good at keeping secrets. In fact, she's an open book that anyone can access with the right questions. Without thinking about it, she'll talk to someone and fill them in on every detail of whatever they're asking about; her life, her friends, their lives, you name it. After the cat's out of the bag and it's too late to take it back, she'll try to fix things before they get to bad - which typically doesn't happen the way she plans. In fact, there's been countless times she blundered her way into trouble by being so honestly open. A simple remedy to this is, of course, to just not tell her any of your secrets you don't want people knowing. The problem with that is that Andi is amazingly curious, and will probe and poke around until you either tell her, or make it utterly clear you will not talk to her about it.
Being as high-energy and excitable as she is, those who know her well know that there are, in fact, a couple of ways to calm Andi down when her love of life gets to be too much. If she goes overboard with her daring stunts, if she has a hard time calming down after a confrontation, even if she somehow managed to get depressed, there is one remedy that never fails to pick her up: warm sassafras tea with extra sugar and cinnamon sticks. A drink her mom used to give her when things got hard, it's not only delicious but also centers her in a way; makes her feel like herself again. If there's none around, she'll settle for, of all things, crayons and a coloring book or regular sketch book and let her have fun. Eventually she'll calm down and get so engrossed in making colorful pictures that everything will return to normal.
And last but not least, if the other two can't be provided, a sure-fire way to get Andi back in her typical peppy spirits is to take her to get new hair color. Nothing makes her feel quite as good as adding some new color to her hair with smelly chemicals. While most girls like shopping for a whole new wardrobe to make them feel better, all Andi needs is a new hair color or accent hair color and she's good to go. These three things are things that only her closest friends know to do, and without them it could take anywhere from a couple minutes to a few days for Andi to get back to normal. Or, as normal as she gets.
When Andi gets enthusiastic about something, she often goes overboard and tries to get others involved, too. She can get a little pushy and tend to not listen to people when she's like this, which often means people are less than happy with her at these times. Once she calms down and starts listening to people again, things tend to mend themselves pretty quickly. Which is a good thing, since an overly enthusiastic Andi is usually on the verge of losing friends with her pushy know-it-all sort of actions.
Though she doesn't take it to an annoyingly obsessive level if she can help it, Andi has her vanity like everyone else. She has no problem looking in the mirror and seeing an attractive girl who deserves some fun and good times in her life. She'll often spend up to forty-five minutes getting ready each morning after her daily shower. She likes to experiment with new make-up color combos, hair styles, textures and colors of clothing, even penciled-on doodles across her skin. She doesn't keep up much on style or fashion on magazines or television since she rarely follows the "rules" of fashion anyway, but Andi will occasionally leaf through some pages of style magazines for new ideas about fresh ways to make a scene with her clothes. Since her step-dad has enough money to go around (though he's not anywhere close to "rich" or "loaded"), Andi often asks her mom to order clothes or the newest line of make-up for her so she can play around with the patterns and colors until she finds something that works.

History
It's not much of a surprise that Andi is such a social butterfly when you think about where she came from. As a teen, her mother was known around town by almost everyone - unhappy wives most of all. Carla had a thing about married men that would end up getting her in trouble in the end. By seventeen, she was pregnant by a seven-year-older Roby Lewis who was, at the time, engaged to another woman.
When he found out he'd gotten Carla pregnant and his fiance left him, Roby instead decided to allow the underage girl to move in with him, and to get her crazy mother off of his back, the two were wed just one month before the baby was due. When Andrea finally came along, the young couple was starting to think they could really get used to the idea of staying together, not only for their child, but for themselves as well.
That lasted until Andi turned four and Carla was caught having an affair. Roby was twenty-eight at the time, and decided the old saying was true - you can't make a hoe a housewife. So he left, and after a custody battle over Andi in which joint custody was awarded, he left the duplex to his ex-wife and daughter and moved twenty miles away to live with a new girlfriend whom he'd gotten pregnant. Carla moved on and held off on the boyfriends for a while, trying to focus on raising her young daughter as a single parent at twenty-one.
Over the years, Carla also had two other children with two different fathers. At seven, Andi had to learn to take care of her new baby sister while her mom worked two jobs and picked up on her old partying habits. Exposed to the more fun aspects of a life full of clubs, drinks, men, and parties instead of the bad, it isn't surprising the teen turned out the way she did.
When she turned eleven, Andi began puberty and was finding that she had many talents she'd never noticed before. In one week she learned basic dance moves solely from watching dancers on the television. Impressed at how quickly her child picked up the talent, Carla enrolled Andrea in dance classes and watched as she quickly became the best in even the most advanced classes. She was starting to think her child was some sort of dance prodigy when she discovered that Andi had another talent - music.
Andrea watched the band that often played music for shows and could play the guitar almost perfectly by the end of the week. This tipped off the guitarist, who did some digging and learned about how quickly she'd picked up on the dancing and put two and two together. Nobody could possibly be this good at two very difficult things when they'd only been exposed to it for a couple weeks. His sister was a meta-human and had attended Hammel Institute as a young teen; he called her and got contact information to the school the same day. Three days later, Andrea was packing and leaving for her new home.
During her time at Hammel, her mom got pregnant with a third child and decided to move closer to the institute so her daughters could spend more time together. She and her new husband Dave live about ten minutes outside the school and often have Andi come out on the weekends.

Roleplay Example
Nothing is as fresh as a bright blue sky.
Except, perhaps, the sunrise itself. Phantom hadn't found himself awake to enjoy the sight in such a long time, his breath was stolen by the beautiful pastel colors filling the sky. The large mastiff-pit mix lay on his stomach, paws extended forward. His large square head rested perfectly between the two, his earthy orbs watching in awe as the heat from the sun began to hit the earth and thaw what the moon had frozen. The rays of warmth and comfort hit his pelt and warmed him quickly, his typical pleasant smile crossing his maw at the feeling of the heat crawling up his spine and into his limbs. It felt so good just to let in the heat and wash the coldness of night away.
A place that had been a large part of his adolescence, the large canine spent his nights in what had once been a park, long before he was born. He didn't understand what many of the broken, rusted objects scattered in the grass were, but they'd made for some interesting snooping places until he'd learned each and every inch of the place by heart. It never ceased to amaze him how beautiful it was at points of the day, and he was thankful that he'd had such a hard time sleeping last night that he could see it now.
For a reason he couldn't quite put his paw on, Phantom had had a tough time getting comfortable enough to sleep for long last night. His joints were getting a little sore, possibly meaning a storm would be coming in the next day or two. However, the quickly brightening sky showed no sign of cloud nor rain, so the large brute decided that couldn't be the problem. Maybe he was just putting a bit of strain on them that they weren't used to. No big deal.
Shrugging it off without complaint as was habit for the sizable dog, Phantom sighed deeply, content with the beginning of his day, regardless of the sleep nagging at his eyes. It was a pleasant, beautiful morning and he would enjoy it.
A light breeze tugged at the mastiff mix's short fur and toyed with his floppy ears, wafting a strange scent toward him. Another canine was here in his resting grounds; a male, if the faint scent was correct. Curious, the larger dog pushed himself up. Tongue lolling to the side and tail giving a wag or two, Phantom set off after the scent to find the other male. He didn't really have anything in mind; maybe just to say good morning and be on his way; maybe just to look and observe the welcome intruder. Lifting his leg and relieving himself on an overgrown bush, Phantom trotted heavily toward the other dog, catching sight of him in the dim lighting.
Cocking his head curiously, he let out a deep, soft woof of greeting. "Morning," he called with his signature smile.
