Inexplicable things I have done for Hammel

I got maybe three hours of sleep last night, and in fact, am heading back to bed in a minute. Why did I completely screw my sleep schedule last night?

I was creating a character sheet for a Mage: The Awakening game. For Levi. It's not to cross him over with a character for my weekly gaming group. (No, that's Feivel and a completely different story.) It's because I was unsatisfied with the D&D classes; none of them were right.

Chances are, I'm never going to use this.

So, have you ever done something like this for Hammel (or any RP site)? Ever spent time on something that isn't going to come into play, and you probably won't use ever?

I have a binder that is my "Guide to The Hammel Institute" that I keep all my Hammel related things in. All the siggies I've made for you guys are in there, my charr profiles, tarted profiles, random extra's quotes, some rp's I've printed out that I'm in, and all the need to know info about Hammel. I keep it handy because I've gotten tired of people asking me what I'm doing when I'm working on something Hammel related. I just hand them the binder and say "that"


That, and I totally write journals and plots lines and all sorts of little useless stuf that I will never use.

I’ve made Zac’s family tree. It’s not that detailed in the sense that I have no name for his grandparents yet (I suck at thinking of names. So really if you’d like to help it would be very welcome), but since it spans four families long, I guess I can be let go, even for a bit. :P.

To make it a bit clearer, I’ll give a little backstory.

I was very much an RP-newbie when I first joined with Zac, and so I never really noticed how weird it was that I was using an Asian playby and yet my character has a very Western name. It was first brought to my attention in the thread with Ginny, in which – since I was very much a n00b – I made up all sorts of things for his ancestry. Which clearly made me even look more of a dufus. (Thank you so much Dry and Tony for letting me slide in that one). So since then, I’ve been raking my mind to get Zac’s backstory as decent as possible.

For a few months now I’ve had the idea that Zac’s father was a half-French and half-Korean, with him looking like this in his prime. But I’ve never really gone that in depth with his backstory. Until last night when I had nothing to do but can’t sleep. And then my brain went overload with the story.

So basically the LaRousse is an off-shoot of the deLanges, with LaRousse-prime (I have yet to name him), marrying the youngest deLange daughter. Their son (not sure if he’d have siblings yet) married a Choi, and that brought about the current Asian-looking LaRousses.

The Straathof’s are a recent addition to the family, in an effort to ensure that the clan (they don’t have an official name yet) has influence in the Russian school. Hopefully I didn’t go overboard with the whole Zac’s-family-has-deep-connections by making a branch for the four oldest (I think?) meta-institutes. ^_^.

Anywho, here goes:
The LaRousses

[/u]. Lancelot (27) and Xavier (21) are Hammel alumni. Zac (18) is currently in Hammel.
The deLanges[/u]. Robert (25) and Athena (23) are Kocher alumni while the rest – Oberon (18), Fleur (17), Jazz and Saff (16), Eugene (15), Nicolette (14), Isabelle (12), and Dylan (10) – are Kocher students currently.
The Straathofs[/u]. Olexei (18) and Katerina (16) are the only current Odarennyĭ students. The others – Maximillian (31), Dmitri (28), Anastasia (26), Nathan (24), Viktor (20) – are alumni.
The Chois[/u]. So far, only Darius (25) and Henry (20) are graduates of Eisai. Adam (18), Julienne (17), Brianna (14) and Ron (12) are still in school.

Hahaha. I still need to name the other wives/husbands and give them powers. I’ll get to that in a bit. >:B.[/justify][/blockquote][/blockquote]

I've actually done some really weird things for Hammel. I have to admit the least likely to ever come into play here. (also the most embarrassing)

I created a backstory, personality, and found a PB for Dani's biological mother.

I have a headcanon where she's the manager of a store in Pilot Ridge (a store her husband owns) and Dani always goes in and talks to her and neither of them will ever know who they are to each other.

And Dani has a half sister named Allie who's six years old and loves princesses, and when she sees Dani she always asks "are you sure you're not a princess? Papa says everyone's a princess, so how come you're not?" And Dani says something along the lines of "Because I'm a warrior."

And there would be this whole freak-out if Matt ever found out, because he's seen all of Dani's paperwork and the name Miirin Konohara is, in fact, on there. Dani has no clue, she's never looked because as far as she's concerned Kiora Waylan is her mother.

Also, the Konohara would have had a -Brown added to it after she got married to Allie's father.

...So there you have it. Some pieces of the most embarrassingly well thought-out headcanon ever. If there are any curious questions, you can PM me about it.
