Valentine looks like an extremely innocent boy. He has straight, brown hair, and bright blue eyes. He has small ears, and a small nose, which just adds onto the small and innocent look of his. His face is very defined, meaning his cheek bones stand out. He has a slightly tanned skin, and a very lean physique. He stands at 6', his legs are fairly long for the rest of his body, and weighs 134 lbs. He has a slightly muscular body, but he has no distinct signs of muscle such as abs. He is very insecure about his body and often calls himself ugly, fat, or freakishly tall, so it is rare to see him with his shirt off.
PERSONALITY.
Valentine is a giver. He puts other before himself, and always tries to help those in need. He's extremely kind, always supportive of others, and he can also be very protective of the ones he loves. He often finds himself weakened or in danger, because he often does what others ask him too. He'll do pretty much anything to help. He is not the sharpest tool in the shed. He is often falling back in school, but he always manages to catch up. He believes that chivalry is not dead, and he often is polite to people. Holding doors open, pulling out chairs, always being friendly no matter what mood he is in. Most people would think he is trying to get with a guy, but he honestly is just being kind. Valentine is a coward. He often retreats when faced with violence, and danger. He is a push-over, an emotional thinker, gentle to the extent of absurdity, and rather underconfident in himself.
HISTORY.
Valentine has live with his mother his whole life. His father ran out on his mother while she was pregnant with Valen, he was told his father had died. He grew up in a small town about 30 minutes from Paris, France called Evry, and had spent all of his time after school helping his mother. She was extremely over worked. She had to keep a job, care for her kid, and clean the house. She always told him to be kind, courteous, and respectful to woman. Slowly as he grew older he was more and more helpful. Eventually his mother would go to work, come home, and relax as Valentine cleaned, cooked, and did all the chores after school. He wouldn't let his mother lift a finger. Was he overworked? Yes, but his love for his mother's well being was far more important then his own well being. He was extremely upset when his mother said he was going to transfer to Hammel from Knocher. She thought that the Hammel institute would benefit him more, and he would be better off becoming stronger off on his own then with her. She wanted him to explore the world and find out all of the possibilities he had to turn his life into something more then "Mommy's Maid". He was afraid to leave her alone, and he really did not want his mother to go back to doing all of the work he was doing. When he was enrolled into Hammel he made friends easily, though most people just used him for his helpfulness.
POWERS.
Valentine is an Earth Manipulator. He has the ability to manipulate and control Earth. At the moment he is able tolift and throw boulders/rocks, and shatter rocks/boulders. He can pull a small section of the earth out of the ground and make a shield/wall out of it, but it drains him a lot and often gives him a headache.
Around the age of thirteen he was playing in the backyard when he was pushed by a neighbor's child, while they were playing, and sliced his leg open, So upset and angry about what had happened he unintentionally lifted rocks into the air, and sent them into the side of the house. It's an understatement to say that his mom was furious.
Val's gifts aren't very useful to him. He doesn't use them for much things at all. he still enjoys having them, and is thankful for them because he knows that someday they will be useful for something special.
There are a few side effects to Val's gifts. It seems that Val is always covered in a layer of dirt and occasionally pieces of rock in his hair from using his powers. He often gets sever headaches from using his Earth Manipulation too much. He often feels extremely drained after making walls/shields and often needs to relax for a little bit.Behind the M A S K . . .Name: Zac

How did you find us?: Thousand FirefliesShow your S K I L L S . . .Valentine was unsure of what he was doing. He had never skipped class before but man....He hated English class. It was boring, as well as the book they were reading. The whole reason he even is skipping is because he saw a student walking away from school, and decided to follow him. He couldn't recognize the student, but then again he didn't get a very good look. As he started walking away from the school he started to feel nauseous he never had done anything like he was doing, and he started to get second thoughts. He was going to turn around, but he was already to the place that students call "The River".
Valentine took in a deep breathe which calmed his nerves slightly, but not much. There was always something about fresh air that calmed him. He looked around for the guy that he had seen walking, and it didn't take very long to spot him. He approached him slowly, he could see that he was extremely relaxed. He was extremely cautious not to startle him, or make any sudden random noises. He failed. He stepped on a twig and it emitted a loud crack. He looked down at the twig, and then up to the other guy. "Um...Bonjour. My name is Valentine, I 'ope you do not mind if I spend some time 'ere. I dislike my English class. Zee book is so boring and it confuses me." He said, his french accent definitely noticeable. He set down his bag, and sat down. He made sure not to get very close to the other students so he would not disturb him.
