Naked Lion Tag [Sett]

With everything that had happened lately still weighing heavily on his shoulders, Anubis wanted nothing more than to unwind. He was stressed, could hardly sleep at night, and his appetite had gone down the toilet, but that seemed par for the course throughout the entire Richmond family. They were all just so worried about Horus that nothing else seemed to matter. So when Sett showed up in his bedroom with a bottle of whiskey and a PS3 controller, Nub jumped at the opportunity. Even though he was approximately terrible at video games, he was much too eager for a chance to just laugh, which he hadn't done since Horus' accident.

That's how they ended up piled on the couch playing Street Fighter and turning it into a drinking game: loser takes a shot. Considering Sett's unfair advantage (of being able to hold his liquor a lot better and having actually practiced at the game) Anu decided that he needed to even the odds a little. Every once in a while, he'd take advantage of Sett's ticklishness and once, when Sett got up to go to the bathroom, Anubis played two rounds just to up his win percentage.

It wasn't long before Anu's coordination was really starting to suffer. His thumbs slid over the buttons as he fell into Sett's side. "Oh my goooood, why are you sho fasht?" He slurred, giggling as he watched his character get pummeled while he ineffectually kicked the air. "You're cheating!" Nub accused, looking at Sett with what was meant to be a glare, but the effect was ruined by his pout.

His health bar was quickly depleted by Sett's attacks and he grudgingly took a swig from the bottle, making a face that only a mbrother could love. He went quiet for a moment, staring down at his lap. "I think I'm drunk."

Since Horus' incident, the Richmond house had basically gone on strike against noise. That was troubling in and of itself since the Richmonds were not known for their silence. He hated that he was tiptoeing around his youngest sibling; Horus was his brother, he should know better than to treat him any different than usual.

But he just couldn't look at Horus without being reminded of his stupidity at thinking everything was fine with Horus. The sole reason he even came here was because Horus had a breakdown. He blamed himself for not nipping it in the bud sooner but it wasn't like he could turn back time.

He could, however, get himself drunk to make him forget things. He was good at that. It wasn't the healthiest of decisions but he needed it so bad. Finding his drinking buddy, he settled into alcoholic bliss with a high score in Street Fighter. He giggled when Anubis accused him of cheating but did not attempt to correct his assumptions. He simply ruffled the younger boy's hair and continued his streak.

At Anubis' declaration, Sett inspected him and shook his head seriously. "Not nearly drunk enough. I disapprove. Drink more sir! No use denying your body its' alcoholic desires!" He grabbed the bottle, thrusting it into the air before chugging it down his throat.

Nub stared wide eyed at Sett when he encouraged him to drink more, but any protest he might have made died on his lips. He simply yanked the bottle out of Sett's hand and took another drink, coughing when it went down the wrong way. He smacked on his chest for a moment to help clear his airway, then set the bottle down and grasped his controller. "Okay, I hope you're ready. I'm about to... to wipe the floor with... your... faish."

That was a total lie, considering how once the FIGHT! appeared on the screen, Nub only managed to back himself in a corner and mash buttons. It was only by miracle that he remembered how to block, so with his back in the corner, he just held down the block buttons, then reached over to try and mess up Sett's combos by hitting buttons on his controller.

When that didn't work, he leaned forward, as if that would somehow drastically improve his gaming abilities. It didn't. What it did do, however, was throw his balance off. He fell off the couch with a dull thud, a crumpled heap on the floor. Instead of saying "Ouch" or "Dammit", he simply started to laugh. "You!" He shouted at Sett between breaths. "You pushhhsed me!" Anubis rolled over onto his back and weakly kicked at Sett's legs. "You big dummy!"

He tried to turn to see the TV, but decided that it was too difficult because he was laughing too hard, so he tried to win without looking. "Am I even hittin' you?"

"Pfftt," Sett replied to Anubis' challenge.

It wasn't even much of a challenge, unfortunately for Anubis. Sett was still in partial control of his motor skills despite his semi-inebriated state. So when Anubis tried to fumble with his controller, Sett was quick to pull it out of his brother's reach, laughing when he dropped down to the floor. He was still laughing when the blond accused Sett of pushing him.

Anubis' question was met with a teary shake of the head as he performed a combo on Anubis' fighter and laughing when the screen was filled with a red KO! Sett threw the controller on the couch and laughed, clutching at his stomach as the alcohol finally did it's magic.

"Oh your face. Your face!" Sett laughed, pointing at Anubis.

Undeterred, Anubis continued to push at his brother with his feet. He spun the analog stick in wild circles while he tried to postpone his inevitable defeat, but it seemed to come all too soon. His controller rumbled when Sett finished him off and suddenly he went still. "Oh my god." Anu breathed, his voice tinged with both confusion and amazement. "I just vibrated!" It wasn't the first time it happened, but it was certainly the first time that Nub seemed to notice it. He dissolved into giggles shortly thereafter.

He tossed the controller onto the couch with Sett's and, with great difficulty, sat up. Annie grabbed Sett's arm and gave a hearty tug with the intention of pulling him down onto the floor. "Oh yeah? You s'ink you're sho good? Le'ss fight for real! I'm gonna shhhow you how it's done!" And once again he's clearly overstating his abilities. Not only was Sett much taller and broader than him, but it was obvious he still had control of his motor skills.

There was one thing that Anubis did have enough sense to to. (Although I'm not quite sure it was a sensible thing, but it was the first thought he had so he just went with it.) He bit Sett's arm.

Sett couldn't stop laughing as his brother continued kicking him half-heartedly and squealed about how he just vibrated. He let Anubis yank him off the couch but the smaller Richmond only managed to make Sett's arm hang off the couch as he drunkenly claimed to show him "how it's done!"

He was still laughing when Anubis' head formulated a plan and when the half cooked plan was finally executed, Sett yelped and actually fell to the floor, more out of surprise than out of hurt. "You b-bit me!" He shrieked hystrically, laughing once the thought fully formed in his head that his baby brother actually bit him.

"Oh you're getting it now." Sett shifted, seemingly effortlessly into a white lion, growling at Anubis while snapping at him playfully.

"Roooaarr!" Anubis puffed out his tiny chest in an attempt to be intimidating, but Sett's high pitched shriek quickly thwarted it. The younger boy snorted, then attempted to cover his face to hide the sound, only to laugh again and flop over on top of his brother. "You made me do a pig noise!" Apparently this was not allowed, because he started flailing his arms on Sett's chest. Not hard, since we all know he lacks muscle mass, and also because he's still giggling like a teenage girl telling secrets.

Then Sett pulled out the big guns. When Anubis realized that he was now leaning on something furry beyond the possibility of Sett's body hair (Ewwww, gross.) he bolted upright. "Noooo! Kitty is cheating!" Scrambling for safety, Annie dived behind the couch, wedging himself in the small space between the sofa and the wall. Sett and his big burly lion form would so not be able to reach him in there and for about three seconds, Anubis thought he was a genius.

And then he saw the spider crawling down the wall. Screaming like a little girl, he flailed madly until he was able to push himself out from behind the couch and attached himself around Sett's furry neck. "Spider!" He said shortly, pointing to his former hiding spot like he was convicting a murderer. He seemed to have forgotten that he was hiding from Sett to begin with.

Sett was in stitches when Anubis started to 'intimidate' him with his puffed up chest. There was, obviously, nothing intimidating about a boy who was basically skin and bones [not by his own volition; Anubis ate like a pig] puffing his basically non-existent chest and that made his elder brother double over in laughter.

Purring from his belly, the magnificent lion pounced on the couch to get to the blond, swatting his huge paw behind the couch but he didn't really have to do any of that since Anubis came out anyway, clinging on to Whitey's soft fur.

The lion nudged the boy with it's wet nose and slowly, Sett was allowed to manipulate the beast himself. Stalking away from Anubis, he pushed the couch away and smacked a paw against the spider, squishing it and walked towards Anubis, purposely showing the paw with the dead spider on it.

Burying his face into Sett's mane, Anubis found a familiar comfort. He used to cling onto him like this when he was younger after having a bad day or if he was just feeling sad. But neither was the case now, he just wanted safety from the evil spider that was planning on killing him. Not that he knew that spider was intent on that, it was just creepy and mean looking.

He cheered when Sett smashed the little devil against the wall, then made a face at the squished spider corpse on his paw. "Gross!" He flicked it off, watched as it landed on the floor a few feet away, but didn't care. Someone else could step on it. Right now, almost instantaneously, he remembered that he was supposed to be running from Sett instead of clinging to him.

"Tag! You're it!" He shouted, grinning from ear to ear, as he scrambled to his feet and bolted for the stairs. Probably not his best idea, considering how wobbly he was on his feet, but he's having fun, dammit.

If Sett could laugh, Anubis' face when he flicked the spider off would have made him roll around on the floor in fits of giggles but as it were, he huffed through his wet nose a couple of times, purring at the way Anubis was clinging on to him. Whitey may not have had the memory of young Anubis snuggling against him but Sett sure did.

It occurred to the shifter that he was rarely communicating with the different aspect of his shift now and that most his shifting was...well...him. It was a revelation, really. But it wasn't something he had more time to dwell on because the comfortable weight he had on him just seconds ago was gone and he was running up the stairs.

Well...running might be exaggerating a bit. Anubis was more grappling each stairs than climbing it. Made things much easier for Sett, with his quick feline reflexes, to run to the top of the stairs and stalk downwards, basically trapping Anubis on the first floor.

Had Anubis not been so focused on climbing the mountain of stairs (on his hands and knees no less) he might have actually noticed that Sett had run ahead and was already at the top of the stairs. But no, his head was down as he put one hand in front of the other and crawled up the stairs as quickly as he could go. Which, for the record, was not very quick at all. Especially considering how his knees kept slipping out from underneath him.

Eventually he collided with the lion and yelped in surprise. He whipped his head up, causing his vision to spin and blur, and his balance to depart. He flailed his arms, as if that would somehow help, but it had the opposite effect. Instead of keeping him balanced on his knees, it sent him backwards, sliding down the stairs on his backside with a rapid thud-thud-thud. He was too far gone to try and stop himself, and when he hit the foot of the stairs, he simply flopped backwards with a whine.

“Owwwwww.” He threw his arm over his eyes, his legs still akimbo up the stairs. “That... was your fault.” Nub whimpered, though the pain wasn't nearly as bad as he was acting. “I'm gunna tell Sahkie an' she's gunna get choo.” Of course he didn't have the slightest clue where Sakhmet was, so the likelihood that he'll actually find her and remember enough to tell her that Sett had pushedcaused him to fall down the stairs is very low.

It was quite unfortunate that while in lion form, Sett couldn't laugh the way he knew Anubis would feel even more frustrated with. The sound came out in spurts in the form of growls and almost like he was choking on a hairball.

He stalked down the stairs and licked Anubis' toes before tugging on his trousers with his teeth until they were off the other Richmond. Just because he could. Sett was trying for Anubis' top but the logistics of that confused Sett so he just tickled Anubis's stomach with his whiskers, knowing the blonde Richmond hated that a lot.

It took Anubis a while to realize what Sett was doing. His pants were already halfway down his legs by the time he noticed and he released a high pitched shriek. “You put teesh holesh in those an' I will end you!” He hissed, flailing about aimlessly and not really accomplishing anything. He stuck his hands into Sett's mane, feeling around for the corners of his face before cupping his palms around Sett's cheeks.

“Shtop, shtop, shtop!” He was giggling under Sett's teasing whiskers and he pulled on Sett's face to get him away from his sensitive stomach. He curled up until his face was only centimeters from Sett's own, staring into his big lion eyes for a long while. “Your breath smellsh like tacos.”

He laughed and headbutted his brother before extricating himself from underneath him, running in a very not straight line towards his only other escape route: outside.

Nub's flailing didn't stop Sett from pulling the younger Richmond's boxers down as well and when he started to push himself against Sett, the shapeshifter changed into his human form and laughed uncontrollably when the younger man ran out of the house without his pants.

He was in tears when he realised that his brother was out in the cold. Without his pants.

Quickly shifting, ignoring the slight pull of his muscles in certain areas, Sett ran out, sniffing for Anubis' scent before running in the boy's direction. Sett didn't have to run too far before he found the younger Richmond still running, his tiny bum wiggling as he ran.

Sett roared and tackled the blond down a grassy patch. Snapping his massive jaws at the boy underneath him, Sett then moved off his brother and curled next to him, one paw slung over Anubis' junk to cover it up.

This was certainly his worst idea of the night. Not only was it cold and he was pantsless, but he also hadn't stopped to put on his shoes. The sidewalk was freezing underneath his feet and it was dark and he had no idea where he was going, but he didn't stop. His desire to beat Sett was greater than the one to go back into the safe warmth of his home.

Anubis had no idea where he was when Sett came upon him again, only that he shrieked when he heard the familiar roar. He tried running faster, but he stepped on a rock, which elicited a yell as he lifted his foot and continued forward hopping only on the other foot. He didn't make it very far before he was tackled into the cold grass. “SETT! COLD!” He arched up, trying to get the grass to stop touching his bare skin, and ended up rolling on top of his brother.

Sett had fur, he could stand the cold.

“I wanna go home now.” Anubis mumbled, burying his face in Sett's mane. He didn't know which way home was, thanks to his horrible sense of direction and alcohol-numbed senses. He only hoped that Sett had paid attention to where he ran.
