((OOC: This is set on a weekend.))
With Greg living in Pilot Ridge now, Sean took it upon himself to invite the blond to more social activities. He had wanted to invite the other man to meet more of their social circle, but he also wanted his friend to get out of the house, and to spend time in places other than bars. Even if the social activities involved drinking, being known as a regular at bars in a small town like Pilot Ridge wouldn’t help the other man’s reputation. As such, Sean had invited Greg over to his and Josh’s house for supper and drinks.
He had mentioned to Josh numerous times that he wanted Greg to meet some of their friends, and so the attorney had invited Danny over to drink with them. The short model builder, unlike some of Josh’s other friends (namely Cobalt and Riley) wasn’t a teetotaler, and thus finding himself in the company of three middle-aged men throwing back a few beers and/or shots was less likely to lead to discomfort. Besides, both Sean and Josh had drank with Danny on other occasions, and the younger man was so genuinely nice and fun that the evening should be a great experience for all involved.
While Sean’s house was perfect for parties, it also had other benefits. With the number of guestrooms upstairs, Danny and Greg would each have a place to crash should they all drink too much to be able to drive home (or, in Sean’s case, to ferry anyone home). They needn’t worry about cabs, because they could all sleep, sober up in the morning, and he could, if necessary, cook breakfast before sending their friends home.
But, that would be a matter for the end of the evening. At the moment, the telepath was too busy getting drinks for the other men. Finishing that task, he came over to the collection of sofas in the living room. He set a glass down in front of Greg, “One rum for our resident blond.” He then moved on to set a glass in front of Danny, “One cocktail for Danny.” Then he sat down on the arm of Josh’s chair and handed the bottle of beer to his partner. “A beer for Josh, and scotch for me.”
He lifted his glass in a vague toast. “Cheers, gentlemen!”
