From time to time, Rhett's power would activate in his sleep. It was unusual, but Rhett was used to it. Yet, it never stopped being strange. It would force him out of his sleep, making him suddenly wake up as the words spoken to him by the manifestation of his meta-ability slowly sunk in his brain, processing the information. What? These particular words that had landed in his brain were not pleasant at all. Actually, they were also hard to believe, but Rhett knew enough to not trust his extrasensory perception. If there was anything sure in his life, was that it never lied.

Not taking the time to totally wake up, Rhett stood up from his bed and swiftly put on some some shorts that were discarded in the floor the night before, before walking out of his bedroom. He was not the type of person that would walk outside his bedroom shirtless, he's always called himself rather prude, but this particular moment, nothing seemed to matter, it was also heavily unlikely to find much people up so early in the morning, so without hesitating, he walked out of his dorm and proceeded to walk towards the following door, knocking thrice.

A guy he didn't know answered the door, asking who was he looking for so early, but Rhett pushed him aside and entered without permission, thanking whatever gods were out there that said person was not LaRousse.

Without knocking, he opened the door he, somehow, knew separated him from his destination, which cued the one who opened the door to close it and sleepily go back to his room. Taking nothing but one step in, he stopped, carefully and coldly staring towards the direction of the bed where to seemingly naked bodies slept in.

"Lovely." He said, pretty much ready to turn around and leave already, as he noticed one of them started to wake up.

Odion's head was hurting from last night's drinking. The sun was just starting to peek through the window but it wasn't that which made him stir. One, there was a naked arm over his naked chest, and two, there someone in the doorway staring, and muttering. The ginger blinked a couple times, practically falling out of his bed away from the grasp of Logan, without any kind of blanket to wrap around his body - it was like they had disintegrated or something.

His deep blue eyes, now bloodshot, saw Rhett's retreating figure, and he scrambled to the door to pull him back into the room, shutting said door so his roommates couldn't see what was going on. "This is not what it looks like," he said in all sincerity, glancing back at Logan, completely nude and haphazard looking. Odion hung onto Rhett's wrist, looking at him imploringly. He would have to chose his words carefully, although he found this whole thing ironic, especially after the whole picture thing.

Odion looked confused, and he used his free hand to rub at his face, going through last nights events in his head. A taxi ride, some dancing, a hell of a lot of drinking, they got back some how and the ginger distinctly remembered Logan trying to kiss him, but that was it, everything went black after that. They were fully dressed. He realized he was still totally naked now, but that wasn't the issue at hand at the moment, he couldn't just let the blonde walk away, especially with the blank look on Rhett's face. That always meant something was wrong.

"Nothing happened between us, we're just friends," Odi said, still looking at Rhett. Surely, with his ESP, he would be able to tell the ginger's true intentions. He didn't want to hide from his boyfriend.

Being awoken much earlier than intended, Logan was instantly overwhelmed with grouchiness. "What the fu-!" Combined with the throbbing headache and light sensitivity, he was not one to be messed with. But after catching a glimpse of Odion's exposed body, he felt much better. "Oh, hey." It wasn't until he saw Rhett, realized that Odion wasn't naked before they went to sleep, and finally figured out that he was naked as well that everything clicked. Panic set in as he began analyzing the situation. He stood up, unintentionally exposing himself, and began sifting his fingers through the bed. What he found was a thin, fine dust that dispersed into the air when kicked up. Essentially, he found what was left of their clothes and most of the sheets.

"Shit! Not again!" Logan shouted as he began looking around frantically. He grabbed a sheet off of another bed and wrapped it around his waist to cover up his fully alert member which he just now noticed. "Rhett, dude, it really isn't what it looks like!" He walked up to the couple and began pleading his case to the blonde. "I know how this looks and ya have a right to be suspicious, but yer boyfriend didn't cheat on you!" His hands began point toward the bed and to himself and Odion. "When I get hungover my power has like a mind of its own and it disintegrated off our clothes while we slept." Logan then looked down to the floor to show embarrassment and mentioned, "and this is... umm... just... morningwood."

While he hoped Rhett would believe his explanation, which was the truth, Logan couldn't help but continue to look over Odion's body and then Rhett's. The whole setup made him think about porn and hot it would be to see the pair go at it. He quickly shook away his lustful thoughts and walked to a closet and began pulling out enough clothes for him and Odion to cover up. After slipping on a pair of shorts, Logan sat down on the messed up bed and put on a pair of sunglasses to filter out some light. "I'm really sorry. I didn't want to mess up anyone's relationship."

"That's what everybody says, Martin." Rhett immediately replied to Odion after being stopped from leaving the room.

But could he actually believe the ginger? At least he was aware that to Rhett, this scenario just didn't look anything near good. How could they actually explain this? He hated the fact that he could not use his power by will. If he could, he would be trying to inquire about what had happened and determine if this had been what it looks like or something else. Was it worth it, though? Even Odion was telling the truth, he had never stayed the night with Rhett, why was he sleeping over at some other guy's bed? It wasn't like Rhett had asked him to, either, but he still thought that it was rather unfair and... God... Up until now, he hadn't noticed the fact of how jealous he actually felt. And how angry.

"Friends?" He asked. "Friends who sleep together, no clothes, and..." Rhett looked Odion up and down in front him, before looking at Logan as he joined the discussion, who, to Rhett's dismay, shared Odi's... alertness. "Disgusting."

Removing Odion's hands from his waist and face, it occurred to Rhett that he actually had never seen his boyfriend naked. There was that time in Spain, though, that the gang skinny-dipped, but it was just for a fraction of a second as they undressed and he didn't actually care at the moment, and thus, it wasn't important. And years later here the time-controller was in front of him, looking disgusting to Rhett's eyes due to the context. He wondered if Odion found the whole thing as ironic and hypocritical as Rhett did, having passed through the while Talen pictures not long ago.

"Oh great, there's a perfect excuse for the whole thing." Rhett said in his best sarcastic tone while going through Logan's word. "Then I'm perfectly sorry for interrupting your... sleep." He did know that disintegration was Logan's meta-ability, but he just couldn't fathom how this explanation was supposed to make everything better now. "Just imagine I was never here." He shifted his eyes from Odion, who he had been staring at, to Logan. "Look at the good side, buddy." Rhett spoke coldly, once again, ready to turn around and leave. "There's no relationship, anymore, for you to mess up."

Logan had literally been in the back of Odion’s mind as he tried to talk to Rhett, but the ginger appreciated the brunette’s attempt to convince his boyfriend of the truth. Whatever hangover was lingering in the ginger’s brain was making this situation harder on him. What was he supposed to do? There wasn’t time to think about what to say this time, not when he couldn’t properly freeze time.

It wasn’t until Rhett was looking him up and down that Odion realized just how nude he was, and he groaned as a blush covered his entire body, and he found something, a dark scarf, to wrap around his waist. He didn’t think the blonde would react that way to his, well, parts that everyone in this room had. Back in Europe, they had shared a room together, had changed in front of the other, Odi hadn’t seen this as a big deal until he realized how much everything had changed, their relationship especially.

“Rhett,” he said, feeling ashamed for the first time in his life, “I promise we didn’t fall asleep like this.” Odion was referring to the nakedness Rhett had happened to walk in on. It was then he glared back at Logan, not that it was really his fault, but this was a terrible, ironic situation that Odion would have preferred to never endure. Why didn’t Logan say something about his powers conveniently stripping him during the night? “We went out for drinks, we danced, we came back, we fell asleep. That’s. It.”

”There’s no relationship anymore.” Odion wondered if his heart had skipped a beat after Rhett said this, turning to leave again. “Rhett,” he said, reaching for the older boy, “surely... you don’t...” The freckled boy held the blonde’s shoulders, which were stiff and unmoving. “I’m crazy about you, you have to believe me.” Odi said this quietly, nothing but sincerity and honesty in his eyes. He just hoped Rhett would see this. He couldn’t just leave... Not after everything they had been through. Surely he didn’t mean it, he was just angry for the moment...

His dark eyes watered up then, he wasn’t going to let go of Rhett, and he didn’t care if Logan was a witness. “Faites-moi confiance.“

A powerful feeling of nausea suddenly began to overwhelm Logan as he heard Rhett dismiss his relationship with Odion. The feeling strengthened even further after seeing the ginger plead that the blonde believe him. It may have been due to his hangover, but the disparity of the situation didn't help. Logan felt his world spinning and his emotions being pushed and shoved in all different directions. What should he do? What could he do? What does it matter? As a matter of fact, Logan had no idea what to do. He didn't want to make the situation worse by saying something wrong. He already felt that the whole situation was his fault, despite the fact that he really couldn't control it. He wished he was sober enough the night before to warn Odion about his power's side effects, but it was too late now.

As moments passed, he felt he had no choice but to sit back and let Odion do the talking. The ginger obvious had much more influence than he did. Rhett trusted Odion, well, at least at one point in time he did. Logan and Rhett were nothing more than acquaintances and former roommates. If anyone was going to convince the blonde that the truth they told actually was the truth, it's Odion.

"Sorry," was the only thing Logan had courage to mutter. His dark sunglasses hid the tears that were building up in his eyes. Both physically and emotionally, he felt like shit. The combination of the stress of the situation and the hangover began to take a toll on his health. The bed on which he sat and the shorts he wore began to slowly decompose down into a fine dust that was swept into the air and scattered to make a thin, mist-like substance before fading away.

"God dammit! Not again!" he said angrily as he stood up. "Look, Rhett, you see this?" His hands motioned toward the bed before falling back to his sides and forming into fists. "It's all my fault! Not his! If I wouldn't have gotten as drunk as I did, none of this would have happened!" So much for Odion doing all the talking.

Logan removed his sunglasses and looked to the couple with a sudden seriousness that could be felt by anyone in the room. "I'll be damned if you depart from someone as kindhearted and amazing as the boy standing in front of you because of something meaningless like this." His anger left his voice before he spoke again, "He loves you and it doesn't take any kind of ESP to know it either."

Trust... Nobody could understand how hard what Odion was asking was. Rhett was not the kind of person that trusted people. Through his life, he had learned to only trust himself. He was the only person that was going to be there every-time, every step of the way, everybody else was expendable. Having extrasensory perception didn't make it easier. He didn't need to trust people when he wanted to know something since his meta-ability could just tell him the truth in time. He learned not to need trusting people, trading it for learning how to control his power. Unfortunately it was something that just kept not working, specially when he needed it more, like this time.

Why can't I just... know? He damned himself a thousand times and forced his mind the hardest he could while Logan made a speech about how Rhett should not break up with Odi. He ignored him, what weight could the words of the guy that just slept with his boyfriend had? He only kept focusing on his attempt to activate extrasensory perception under will. Why doesn't it work? He was body heat kept going up, he was sweating and his fists closed themselves, he wasn't sure if were effects of him forcing his mind or if that tiny speck of anger and jealousy he had minutes ago had grown into something bigger than him.

Nonetheless, he kept giving the other two his back. He didn't want to see them as barely-clothed as they were, sparking images of them sleeping like that all night. I NEED to know. He swallowed saliva. He head could explode at any moment, or so he felt. It wasn't that unlike the time in Italy when he passed out, either, so perhaps the possibility of it happening wasn't entirely out of the question. The last thing he needed, though, was passing out right there, right at that moment.

Rhett was frozen in his spot. Had minutes passed already? He had to make a decision. Trusting Odion's words or not. Only a miracle could make his extrasensory perception activate and tell him nothing happened between him and Logan.

In a crucial moment of truth, Rhett noticed maybe he should start believing in them.

"Get dressed." He finally said as his body quickly relaxed. "I know nothing happened."

Rhett had lied. No miracle had saved Odion. It was a leap of faith. Just this once, he would trust Odion. Just as long as he didn't think Rhett was getting weaker or softer. Maybe as long as Odion feared the inability to keep secrets from Rhett's extrasensory perception, he would never actually do something like this again. Ever. As wrong and deranged as it sounded, it was trust.

"I'll talk to you later." Rhett opened the room's door and took a step out. "Oh, and Logan," He exited the room and made his way through the common area, stopping at the main entrance. "tread carefully."

A door slam announced Rhett's exit. Make no mistake, that had been a thread.

Odion hoped that Logan wouldn’t speak again, but he did, and the ginger couldn’t help but turn to see what he was yelling about. It was pretty much his fault, Odi wasn’t going to fight that, but what the brunette said next made the time manipulator smile, if only for a second. Someone thought he was kind hearted and amazing? Damn, he really had fooled Logan into thinking he was some kind of angel. What he said was meaningful, but it hadn’t come from the right person, and Odion quickly looked back to Rhett, wiping at his eyes.

Logan was right, he did love Rhett, and he was grateful his friend had decided to say something after all. Odion noticed that the blonde was starting to lose inner control, something was devastatingly wrong, but Odion wasn’t a mind reader, and he wasn’t about to ask, so either way he wasn’t going to find out about Rhett’s powers not working, nor could he blame himself for their lack of functionality. Had he known he had such a huge effect on the older boy’s powers, and given the situation and high emotionality of it all, the reason Rhett’s powers weren’t working, probably had something to do with Odion. It was just too bad that Rhett’s want of knowing, couldn’t simply be satisfied in trusting his boyfriend.

Odion’s eyes widened in surprised, and he took a couple steps back into the room. Just like that? He knew. But Rhett had never turned around, and Odion could only watch him leave, body tense as he gave Logan a warning. The ginger let out a gasp he was unaware he had been keeping in all that time. Rhett lied. Odion knew because he had a tendency to be short when he lied. He didn’t know anything, and this made the time manipulator smile. Rhett was trusting him, although Odi was happy to know that once Rhett calmed down, he could see the truth for himself.

At this point he turned to face Logan, unable to wipe the stupid grin from his face, despite all that had happened. “Uh, can I borrow some clothes?” He asked pathetically, running a hand through his hair. “And thanks,” he grinned, locking eyes with the brunette, “you really think I’m amazing?” He sat on his friend’s bed with a sigh. This was a hell of start to a day. Odion looked at the open door again, where Rhett no longer was, and something dawned on him which he couldn’t enjoy now.

Had Rhett really been fantastically shirtless, and he hadn’t even noticed ‘til now?

Finally, it was over. Rhett believed them and walked out after giving Logan an obvious warning. Usually, a comment like that would anger him, but the sudden relief he felt from the situation drove out any negative emotions he had.

Logan looked over to Odion and grinned. "Clothes? Why so soon? I was really enjoying the view." He walked over to his closet, pulled out a few things he thought would fit, and tossed them to the ginger. "Here ya go. Bring them whenever, I don't care." Logan also pulled out a few things for himself and quickly slipped them on.

"No, you're horrible. I was just caught in the moment," he mentioned sarcastically while giving Odion a playful nudge. "I need to relax now so I don't disintegrate through all my clothes in one day." Logan removed the halfway destroyed sheets from his bed and laid down on the mattress. "Sorry I put you through all this, dude."

Once there was a complete calm in the room, Logan began reflecting on the whole ordeal and as a result, began recollecting more visual details. "Oh, by the way, you have a nice ass."

Odion shook his head, a very happy grin on his face. "You're an idiot, you really want to cause more problems by continuing to hit on me?" He asked, looking back at the door as though expecting Rhett to barge right back in. Something had triggered the blonde to come in in the first place, maybe he could catch Logan's thoughts or something every once in a while. Odi would never understand the blonde's powers.

Catching Logan's clothes, he put them on, and made a mental note of how they were almost the same size. Shorts and a t-shirt would do him just fine, and he took a seat on the brunette's bed once more, still tired as hell and hungover.

The ginger smirked at the nudge, "Sarcasm, lovely," he said with a soft laugh, scratching the back of his neck as he looked over Logan. "You should be sorry, this is all your fault after all," he said, lowering his hand, "no sarcasm intended."

Chuckling at the comment on his appearance, Odion shook his head again, "Please don't talk about my ass," he groaned, wiping at his face. "And don't talk about anything else you might've seen, because I've seen enough of you to last a lifetime," he said, flinging himself to lie down next to Logan, looking at him.

Then it occurred to Odion, "Why the fuck didn't you tell me about your powers acting up when you're drunk? That would have been nice to know before I woke up naked next to you," he said, shaking his head.

"Hey," Logan mentioned after Odion expressed a fear of causing more problems, "you didn't do anything wrong by me hitting on you, so why doesn't matter?" He was joking of course, but the way Odion looked back to the door expecting Rhett to reemerge slightly worried him. "Do you always worry about him barging in on you?" he asked cautiously.

"Yeah, yeah, I know, my fault." Logan closed his eyes and leaned his head back on the pillow to relax a bit more. "I've only been drunk enough for something like that to happen a couple of times. I guess I don't quite know my limit."

A subtle grin appeared as he began to once again recall what he has seen. "Oh, and don't worry, I wont comment on the other parts I saw. I'll keep those thoughts to myself." He then got up out of the bed and went toward the door. "Since you're up, you wanna grab some breakfast?"

He reached for the doorknob but quickly withdrew his hand. "I'll let you do all the touching and stuff..."

Odion grinned, unsure of what to say for once. “Okay, so you’ll keep hitting on me despite my protests? Got it,” he looked over at the door again, sighing, “no I don’t worry about that, I have nothing to hide from him.” The redhead looked at Logan with a small smile, “He knew things about me when I did have something to hide, he just picks up on things, although his power does seem to act up around me in strange ways...” Odi quickly shut his mouth. Why was he telling all this to Logan? Was he the only one he could really consider a friend? Yes, most definitely. The brunette wasn’t trying to manipulate anything.

“Next time we go out, you’re not allowed to sleep in the same bed as me,” Odion said happily. Logan would hopefully pick up on the time manipulator’s words – he wanted there to be a next time. He liked spending time with the guy, despite the trouble he had gotten him into.

Putting a hand to his face, Odion did not want to know what Logan was going to do with thoughts of his nakedness, but he couldn’t help but wonder anyways. It was a weird, disturbing thought. Moving past Logan and opening the door, Odi caught the brunette’s eye once again. “It’s just an excuse to get me to open all the doors for you, isn’t it?” he asked, holding the door wide open for his friend. “After you.”
