Name: Noah Evan Washington
Nicknames: N/A
Age: 17
Orientation: Heterosexual
Desired Rank/Job: Student
Powers: Hydrokinesis – Noah can manipulate water from nearby sources. He can do things like stop the flow of water in a tap or make it run faster. He can lift water out of a lake and send it in other directions. Things like that. Most notably, he can make it seem as though water appears from nowhere. In reality he can rapidly draw water particles from the air. It takes a lot of mental stability to focus enough to use his powers, so he often ends up with headaches afterwards. Also, the concept of complete fluidity when it comes to focusing can leave him with nausea after using this ability.

Eye Color: Dark blue

Any Tattoos? N/A
Any Scars? N/A
General Appearance: Noah has blonde hair that flicks off before reaching too far down his neck. His fringe is long enough to almost cover his eyebrows, so he normally sweeps it off to one side. Normally it’s a little darker so he often has to dye it to keep it that colour. He has blue eyes that are so faded in colour that they almost look a little grey. His skin is naturally pale in colour. A notable feature on his face is that his lips are quite full. His cheeks are also a little full, but he still has clear definition on his jaw line. His chin also has a small dimple in it, which is more prominent when he smiles.
Noah spends a lot of time running and swimming because he has a thing for sports. Due to the fact that he is so into sports, he has a very fit physique. There is clear muscle definition all over his form; he has strong legs from running and strong arms from swimming practice.
In terms of normal clothing, Noah practically lives in jeans and fitted T shirts, but in summer or on warmer days he’ll wear shorts. He likes to keep things pretty simple. He loves his hoodies and has one in every different colour imaginable; those things are just comfortable. Fashion isn’t really his thing, but he likes to think he knows what looks good on himself. Noah is 6'0".
Personality: A lot of people would describe him as a bit of a dork. Noah likes to joke around and will sometimes say things or suggest things that are a little out of the norm. If there’s a song playing in a store that he likes, he’ll be the guy who dances around and sings along while shopping. So it would make sense that he doesn’t really embarrass that easily. At least, not when it comes to situations like that. Noah’s got a lot of charm and a huge heart; he falls for girls way too easily. Flirting is just a natural thing he’s good at and he allows it to snowball into real feelings. At least, he thinks they’re real. When he actually ends up liking someone, he almost gets a little shy around them because he doesn’t like rejection. Still, he’s able to put on a brave face and do his best to brush past it.
He just really loves love. And the idea of it.
But seriously, he’s insecure when it comes to talking about his life at home. Noah would rather lie or brush over the subject than actually talk to someone about it, unless he’s very close with that person. It’s an ongoing issue in the back of his mind that he struggles to cope with, because at times he feels as though he’s been forced to grow up too fast in order to help provide for his family.
Noah really likes sports. He loves running track and swimming laps. It’s probably something he ends up doing at least once a day. One of the reasons he loves it so much is because it helps him clear his head when he gets a little too caught up in things. He tries his best to be a laid back kind of person because this tends to happen to him. So sometimes Noah struggles to let other people in to what’s going on. He hates feeling like he’s pushing his problems onto other people, because being a burden makes him feel weak.

History
Noah’s parents actually met at Hammel, so when their first son was born they figured it was likely that he would have abilities too. He had a pretty normal childhood though; his parents weren’t exactly well off in terms of money. They worked a lot, so he spent a lot of time with his grandmother who lived next door. Most, if not all of his memories from when he was so young involve his grandmother. So as he was growing up he always seemed like he'd prefer to spend time with her as opposed to his actual parents. He used to do his best to help her around the house, at least he did when he was old enough to realise how to help. Even if this sometimes meant pulling out perfectly grown flowers in the garden because he thought they were weeds.
His brother Joshua was born when Noah was eleven. He remembered hearing his grandmother ramble on about how they could barely afford one kid, let alone another. But nevertheless, there he was. As years went on, their mother got a much better job so their father ended up staying at home a little more. Josh had started spending a lot of time at school, which was where he learned to play guitar. When he was about fourteen he got a job and saved up enough money to actually buy his own guitar. It was nothing special, but it was the first thing he’d ever bought that was with his own money so it was pretty special.
Noah was sixteen when his father was in a car accident. He was in place in a medically induced coma after it had happened in the hopes that his body would heal. However, he never woke up and the life support machines were turned off. The death of his father greatly affected his mother; she seemed unsure of what to do with herself now that he was gone. Their grandmother decided to stay and live with them, helping the family through this hard time in their life. Money was a little scarce and at times they lived more difficultly than they were used to, but there was always food on the table. Noah continued to work to try and add a little more income to the family.
At school, Noah had the most fun in classes where he got to learn about Astronomy. He always seemed to like the idea that there could be other worlds out there. It seemed to make life problems seem a little obsolete. Aside from the sporting commitments he had to track and the swim team, the Astronomy club was something he threw himself into completely.
His powers manifested while he was in the shower, still at the age of sixteen. He wanted more water pressure but it just wasn’t working. He became frustrated and suddenly the shower head blew out and there was water everywhere. So yeah, it was embarrassing when his grandmother had to rush in and his whole family were panicking over what had happened. He frantically pressed his hands to it and managed to make the water stop in its position. A recruiter came and found him within the week and he was sent to Hammel. His younger brother struggled with the concept of him leaving, but both his mother and grandmother simply understood that it was going to happen eventually.
He was actually glad it happened. It meant it was one less person for his family to have to pay for. Noah has been there for almost a year now, with relatively average grades.
