Goats, Griff and Grumbles {Josh}

"I did offer to buy you another newspaper." Griff pouted slightly, feeling put out by Josh's unending hostility. "It's really no bother, I have some money on me." He added, still jutting his lip out just slightly. He did wave his hand slightly as the smoke came towards him, and mentally reminded himself to check at home if he had any signs of lung cancer.

"It's a nice Welsh name." Griff said proudly, still letting the goat chew on his facial hair, seeming mostly unbothered by it. He was aware of Sean's lack of love of animals, but Griff was stubbornly the opposite, and fully intended to keep as many animals as he felt like. His relatives liked the animals anyway, it had been his niece's idea to buy a goat in the first place.

"Mopsy? Like out of Beatrix Potter?" Griff smiled warmly. "A good choice." He added cheerily, giving Gladys a scritch. "Animals are lovely really. Very non-judgmental."

Griff sadly had no ulterior motives. He just wants friends, and Josh was Sean's friend, thus they should be friends too. Then they could all hang out and there would be jokes about Josh's hostility in later years. ... Maybe.

"I'll write an I O U." Griff volunteered cheerily, making a mental note to buy Josh a newspaper, or something that cost the equivalent of a newspaper in future. Yes, Josh has no hope in avoiding Griff round the town, since he's a doctor at the local practice, and likes to get around and explore his surroundings. Sorry Josh.

Well! They'd both agreed on something. This was enough to set Griff's mood up a few notches to annoyingly cheerful. "I just thought you could use the company is all." Griff lilted, turning his gaze up into the sky.

"Looks like it's about to rain." He commented thoughtfully, turning to Josh. "Do you have an umbrella or a raincoat? Otherwise you'll get sick." He said, frowning a little. "As a doctor you know I'd rather not people were sick."

He offered Josh a cheery smile, and Gladys took the distraction to bite onto Josh's shirt once more.

"Why are you so hostile? Do you have a deficiancy in vitamin E or calcium? I can write you a special diet plan at the surgery and send it to you?" Griff suggested helpfully. "I really don't want to fight." He put his palms up once more, then got up off the seat.

"Don't push Gladys!" He huffed poutily, grabbing the goat and setting her down. "She's just trying to be friendly, unlike you." He stood there for a moment with his hands in his pockets, feeling unhappy again.

Why was this man so ANGRY at his existance? What had he ever done. "I should get home too. I have to catch up on Dawson's Creek online." He said simply.
