((OOC: This is set this past Sunday.))
After the serious conversation on Friday night, an understanding had been reached, and both Sean and Josh had returned to their typical dynamic. Because it was a weekend, that meant that neither of them had to be anywhere else, and since it was Sunday, Josh needn’t concern himself with services. Likewise, they had been free of paperwork for the weekend and could actually relax and enjoy themselves.
Vermont had been spared the snow that had hit New York and Massachusetts, for which Sean was grateful. While the temperatures hovered around freezing, and there remained preexisting snow, at least they needn’t worry about being battered this weekend. Additionally, the roads were clear which proved important.
Because they had been free of work or other obligations, and because they had been enjoying each other’s company all weekend, Sean had proposed they continue in that fashion for an early afternoon game. Josh had readily consented, and had said Sean could choose the game. While upstairs in the closet, searching for appropriate outfits, Sean had come up empty-handed.
“You don’t have any overalls, do you?”
He’d been met with a perplexed look from his partner. “Do I look like I would have overalls?”
The telepath had not answered the question; instead, he responded by grabbing his car keys off his dresser. “Get dressed. We’re going out.”

Because the roads were clear of snow, the drive to Burlington took no longer than usual. En route, Sean had explained to the other man what the purpose of the excursion was, which had seemed to placate him. When they arrived in downtown Burlington, Sean parked the sedan on the street, near where he remembered the proper shop was located. Then, bundled in his overcoat, he walked with his partner the couple of blocks to the costume store which catered to an adult crowd.
Entering, he was immediately surrounded by options, which was a good start for the day, even if their early afternoon game would, by necessity, become a late afternoon or early evening game. “Well? What do you think?”
