Picture Resizing and Posting

Hi! I'm new here obviously I used to be a pretty avid RPer, but it's been years, so the coding is confusing me.. I'm sure the knowledge will come back, but it just hasn't yet.. Haha

So I'm starting my Application and I have a photo of Bryn, but it is 395X550, so I need to resize it, but I'm don't know how I go about doing that. Is there a site I can use or something on my computer?

Secondly, I tried to get the picture on there anyway; just to see if would even show up, and it didn't :/. So if you could show me the code I need to get it to show up that'd be great.

Hi, Bryn! How are you hosting your picture? If you're using photobucket then you can resize it using their editing tool. I think most image hosting sites allow you to resize, but don't quote me on that, because I only use photobucket.

If your image isn't showing up with your coding make sure there are no spaces between the image url and the image tags. So like so:

[img]hereisaurl[/img]

Instead of [img] Hereisaurl [/img]
