Questions concerning registration and job

Dear Team-Members =)

I'd like to play Alena, a wanted character of Trix aka Jack Manthey, but I have some questions - feeling a little dumb, asking... Sorry!

First, a question concerning the registration: The Username, I'm registering with, hasn't to be the name of my character, because the displayed name is changeable, right? So, I can register as 'CamCake' and adjust the displayed name to 'Alena Ingram' - right?
(Sorry... feeling really dumb... XD)

Second question: I'd like to play Alena as a student, but maybe she can work at the Hammel Institute as a gardener? I'd like her to have the power to control plants (altough I'm not sure - Animal Communication or Gravitational Manipulation sounds also interesting...).
Another interesting job besides her studies may be a library assistent (my job in real life - I love it ^^) - in combination with the Gravitational thing.
So the question is: Is it possible for her to work at Hammel for board and lodge (and maybe a little bit of money extra)?
(as a gardener or a library assistent - I'm not quite sure... ^^)

First question: Yes, you edit your display name after. Camcake is just fine as a username. You'd login with that, but the display will still read Alena Ingram.

Second: The Hammel Institute does hire some students as library assistants, and I suppose she could be a gardener too. But the request was for a college student at the University of Vermont. She'd be a graduate of Hammel, but as Jack doesn't have powers, he wouldn't meet her if she was a student there still.

Thank you for your answers, but I have to admit, I'm a little confused now...

Isn't it possible for Hammel Alumi to study at the University of Vermont but keeping contact with the Institute (learning more about their powers and so on)?

Or did I misunderstand what you wrote? ^^

Yes, many alumni stay in contact with Hammel. But when someone says they're making a student, I assume they mean a student still at Hammel, since it's the largest usergroup on the site. Once she's at U of V, however, she'd probably need to get a job somewhere else. The money library assistants make is good for pocket money for a high school student, but not enough for a university student, plus it's a job they'd want to keep for current Hammel students.

hm... So, it's possible for her - as a meta-human - to study at the U o V when she's keeping contact with Hammel (which she has to, concerning to the rules, right?) ? ^^

Or isn't she still bound to Hammel when she made her graduation?

She can keep in contact with Hammel, but once she's graduated from there, she's on her own.
