General Appearance: Yulia has the blonde hair, blue eyes, and fair skin common in her family. She lean from years of training. Yulia is fairly low key about her hair, keeping it back an out of the way for the most part. This habit comes mostly from combat and military training, to keep it out of her eyes. As for her eyes she prefers heavier makeup, almost a war paint mentality and it does provide some shading from the sun for her eyes. She’s fairly non-expressive out of habit, choosing to consider and reply without the added consideration of facial expression. When all is said and done she rarely cracks a smile, ever.
Yulia is very clean cut in her appearance. She keeps her clothing neatly pressed and stain free. She had the air of ex-military, which is exactly what she is. She’s starting to grow a liking for less formal clothing though. That being said she has a million pairs of sweat pants from her former training, but she hasn’t yet got to the place where she’ll wear them in public. Posture wise she tries to be as impeccable as possible. This doesn’t always work but she does her best.
Personality: Yulia is serious to say the least. She is the sort of person who adores order and control and expects such from others. She doesn’t know any other way so Hammel has been a bit of a shock to her system. She is beginning to embrace this though, seeing how much happier the students are there. Despite her fairly solid lack of expression she does care and she does take notice of what is happening around her. Her own power and its consequences are starting to get to her mentally.
When it comes to herself Yulia is self disciplined. She tends to maintain the personal rules of her upbringing and schooling, but she’s starting to let them slack a little. Underneath these layers is someone who is very willing to be there to listen at the least.

History
Yulia was born in Noril’sk, Russia. She was the third child in the family, after her twin older sisters. Yulia had an average but extremely strict upbringing. Her parents were loving, just strict and demanding. They expected the best from the girls, wanting them to have more than they did. Yulia was five when the curtain fell, and the family did consider leaving the country but was unable due to monetary concerns.
When she was twelve her abilities started to show themselves, purely on accident. She caused disasters and pain that she didn’t understand. After sending a bully of a classmate into a vegetative coma without touching him the recruiters at Odarennyĭ Institute found her. Given that it was run by the military her gift was developed mainly for combat purposes. She trained in hand to hand combat as well as some weaponry stuff. She was instructed that she had to be field capable beyond her Psionic Blast. She graduated from the program when she turned eighteen and was put into a specialized unit.
She spent seven years in the military for the next seven and a half years. She didn’t enjoy it exactly and was eager for it to end. It was supposed to be over after four years, but that didn’t happen. Her paperwork was altered to add years, due to the fact that many of the meta-humans had left to attend other institutes. On the bright side she had close friends in Daniil and Evgeny. She was finally let go after a serious injury in the field which nearly severed her leg and assumedly killed Evgeny.
She found a job at Hammel and has since moved to Vermont. Yulia started across country to Moscow, a journey that took her a few weeks. She arrived there about six months ago and took her flight to Boston and traveled to Vermont from there.
Roleplay Example
Yulia was packing, still slightly in shock that she was getting to leave. She had waited for this for years. Still for some reason she was hesitating. This was all she had known for the past seven years, the past thirteen practically. She was used to a life that was told to her, not one of her own choosing. She knew she would leave, but the fact of the matter was that she was leaving a lot.
Perhaps the problem for her was that this was not of her choosing once again. She had no choice but to leave for the time being, the damage to her leg was too severe. There was nothing she could do about that until she went through sufficient physical therapy. They didn’t keep anyone like her in the military who could heal wounds like that, for some reason meta-humans like that didn’t seem to show up at Odarennyĭ Institute.
However this was a chance at a new start for her. They had let her stay here until she found new employment at the least. She was headed to Vermont, to a place called Hammel. She was going to be a trainer there. She loved the idea of it, and liked to fancy herself that she would make an excellent teacher. She certainly had the discipline that she considered necessary for such a task.
Yulia could not help but hope that she didn’t encounter any students with her particular… talent. It was dangerous, and she already worried that she could abuse it by accident, now imagine a sixteen year old with such a struggle. She folded a few more shirts and put them in her suitcase. She didn’t have all that much to pack. She was used to the bare necessities.
She looked around the small room that had been hers for the past seven years. Now everything that had been there, clothes and pictures, was in the suitcase. That was it, that was everything. She checked her watch, the car would be waiting. Yulia zipped the suitcase closed and picked it up. She walked out, closing the door behind her with a definite thud.
