General Appearance:
Sawyer doesn’t work on her appearance and that’s the first thing people notice about her. She’s the most comfortable in loose tank tops, button down shirts and ripped jeans. She has had the same Chucks since the fifth grade because she is so tiny. A booming five foot one, she could easily be mistaken for a middle schooler from the back. That is until she opens her mouth.
Her hair is usually down, covering her face sometimes, mostly because she wants to cover her hairline, which she finds annoying. And on the rare occasions that she does put it up, it’s either in a really messy bun or a really messy half ponytail. She just really doesn’t like her hairline. It’s weird, y’all.
Her must haves are her leather bracelets [all three of them], a dark green leather choker and her huge headphones which she always has around her neck just in case someone is annoying her and wants them to gtfo.
Personality:
To call Sawyer a tomboy would be an overstatement. But she isn’t exactly a girly girl either. She’s that girl you look for if you want a phone hacked into and she’s the one you go to if you wanted some sick beats from. She’s the kind of girl preppy kids avoid and the geeks are intimidated by. She doesn’t mean to come off as a bitch but her honesty is pretty brutal.
Sawyer likes to think she’s very unexpected, on the edge and living on the crazy side. If you had to pin down what she is as a character, you’d probably say Mad Hatter on steroids. She’s actually pretty excitable and will talk a mile a minute if you give her even a small opening.
Though she may seem a little standoffish at times, she is fiercely loyal when it comes to friends. Family is another matter though. She doesn’t have a decent relationship with her parents, which was the leading cause of her stint in juvie, so that is one sore spot for her.
Sawyer is also extremely annoying and will use her abilities on you if you annoy her enough.

History
Sawyer was the unplanned pregnancy from high school that went wrong. Forced to marry, Steve and Courtney lived half their lives resenting each other but putting effort into raising their child their own way. Steve taught Sawyer how to play sports and Courtney tried to get Sawyer interested in ballet. But at the age of five, you rarely understood what was happening and wanted to do what you felt like. At six years old, she stopped them both from teaching her and told them that she wanted to be the next Nadia Comenci instead of the next Michael Jordan or Anna Pavlova.
Finally agreeing on something, Steve and Courtney signed her up for gymnastics, drilling and training her into shape and for awhile, it looked like they were actually a regular family. But Sawyer soon stopped handling the pressure coming from both of them, which led Steve and Courtney to blaming each other and finally, when Sawyer was eleven, they filed for divorce under irreconcilable differences, where Courtney got full custody of Sawyer.
The divorce took its toll on Sawyer and drove her to react irrationally. She destroyed public property and then wrapped her mother’s car into a pole. She got off relatively unscathed and after a day of recovery in the hospital, she was sent to juvie.
After spending six months there, Courtney relinquished all custodial responsibilities to Steve who got her out of gymnastics and sent to boarding school. She developed a reputation of being highly disruptive in class and extremely chatty, to put it lightly. She was sent to detention more times than she actually went to class. And then puberty kicked in.
Like it wasn’t hard enough to be the only late bloomer in her year, Sawyer had to get even more annoying with an uncanny knack of imitating voices that she was sent back to Steve who didn’t know what else to do but to put her under a shrink’s care. After a few psychiatric evaluations, the doctor finally put her through a blood test that showed positive signs of meta genes. Without even the chance to say goodbye to anybody she knew, Sawyer was sent away to Hammel at the age of sixteen.
She is still pretty much annoying people with her ability and getting kicked out of class for imitating the teacher.
