You So Need Some of This (Phen.)

His trip to California had been awesome. Of course, the water for surfing had been a lot warmer than the water temperature in Vermont right now. But already Cam was missing it, and already he was trying to forget a lot of things, and normally, swimming did the trick. He didn’t like pools, hence why he was standing knee deep in the frigid lake.

“Shit,” he muttered to himself, shivering, “this isn’t doing any wonders to my downstairs.” But he was already in, and he really didn’t need any sunscreen. Besides, it wasn’t like he was the only one there, looking like a total loser, he just liked warmer water. And bluer, cleaner water... Oh well, he supposed this would have to do.

After doing a couple laps, Cameron spotted a familiar face. Grinning from ear to ear, his feet caught in the sand and he stood to wave. “Hey Phen you whore!” It was a loving greeting, honestly. The two had known each other for a while, had even hooked up once or twice. The drugs were amazing, and Cam was free and up for anything. “Long time no see!”

Phen wasn't sure why he had ended up at the lake, although he was never sure why he ended up anywhere, really. Whether it was from him tripping out on dust or just lack of observation, time seemed to go all wonky when he was wandering, and today he found himself at the edge of the water, much too lazy to actually swim but enjoying all the bare skin nonetheless.

He pulled his sunglasses off and perched them on top of his head, squinting at the sun. It was so bright, at his hallucinations never helped that fact. He decided to find a place to sit in the shade. After finding a place vacant of many people, he settled down and gazed around at the various people swimming, unable to help but grin at the images of other things swimming in the water as well - among them, a giant Loch Ness Monster-looking creature several dozen yards out.

However, a voice calling his name caught his attention, and he looked towards the sound, eyes narrowing at the type of greeting he was receiving. However, when he saw the speaker, he smirked and chuckled. "Hey, slut," he replied lazily, glad to see someone he knew that he actually enjoyed. Oh, Cam was great, and Phen looked back on the memories they shared with much fondness. Mostly because Cam was totally cool with using hallucinogens during their hookups, which wasn't all that common to find. "Yeah, it's been a while." He made a point to look the boy up and down, chuckling. "You look good. Where've you been? My bed's been a bit cold lately."

Cam laughed at the mock pet name, and ran a hand through his slippery hair. Well, if he was going to be enjoyed, he might as well get a little closer to Phen. “Come on, like you haven’t heard the rumors going around?” He smiled slightly, but it wasn’t as amused as it should’ve been. After a dramatic sigh, Cam patted Phen’s shoulder. “As has mine my friend, as has mine.” He offered a signature wink and waded back into the lake, splashing a little water Phen’s way.

Phoenix raised a curious eyebrow. "I can't say I have. Why? Should I?" He didn't follow gossip well, mostly because he just really didn't care about other people's problems. He was a very selfish, apathetic individual, and was only really interested in things that benefited him. Still, he smirked with interest, widening it into a grin at Cam's touch. "Well, I think we should probably do something about this problem," he replied with mock seriousness, pressing a soft touch against Cam's cheek before chuckling and following him to the water.

He wasn't much of a swimmer, but the offer was too sweet to pass up. "Sounds good t' me." He tugged off his shirt and tossed it on the bank, shrugging and pulling off his jeans a moment later. He was wearing boxers, it wasn't like they were that much different than swimming trunks, and Phen was far from being shy. His somewhat scrawny form wasn't much to show off, but Cam seemed to enjoy it. He grinned. "So how've ya been?" he drawled monotonously, drawing a hand through the water as he stopped in the water beside Cam. He let his fingers walk up the blonde's spine, his gaze heavy-lidded.
