Powers: Pheromone Manipulation: "Ability to produce and manipulate pheromones to alter people's emotions. A user cannot induce an emotion that did not exist previously (e.g. making someone angry who was happy) but can manipulate the seeds of what is already there (agitating through pheromones). Side-effects include a strange, though not unpleasant odor." - Peyton mostly uses his powers to make people happy or giddy, but wants to learn how to get girls to flirt with him.

Any Scars? One scar on his right shoulder, about 2 inches long, below the shoulder blade, from an accident in middle school where he fell off the back of a couch onto the corner of a table.
General Appearance: Peyton is pretty tall - about 5'10" - with an average, somewhat lanky, physique. He has short but thick brown hair, that he frequently tousles without thought, and mischievous brown eyes. Since his powers kicked in (around the same time as his growth spurt), he's been a lot quicker to smile, and it's a stunner. He has a very expressive face, which frequently looks delighted or playful.
His style is laid back, with a touch of feminine input from years of his mother buying his clothing. Usually it's jeans, khakis, or cords, with plain or v-neck t-shirts paired with a light button-up, usually unbuttoned with the sleeves rolled up, but in Vermont he ends up wearing flannels a lot. He loves his Vans, Chucks, Keds, and Sperrys. He refuses to wear hats or scarves.
Personality: Peyton is a little bit happy-go-lucky. He's still amazed over the fact that he has power, let alone something so fun as pheromone manipulation. And he's still getting used to his desirability in general, going from 5'0" to 5'10" in one year. He's undeniably positive, quick to laugh, and is full of energy. However, he's not exactly eager to go out of his way to help anyone if it will take a significant amount of effort. He calls himself 'laid back,' but it tends to skew toward lazy. He's also gotten a bit cocky with his new power, and can flirt continuously if no one stops him, though he likes to think he doesn't flirt with girls who don't show interest. He still does, on occasion, even if he doesn't realize it.
He struggles with concentration and executive function, and has been diagnosed with ADHD. Although he's managed decently so far, he's not very comfortable in the classroom, and tends to compensate with humor. In classes he struggles with, like science and history, he can become the class clown, whereas in math, where he feels very comfortable, he's a bit of a teacher's pet. He knows when to keep his mouth shut in front of authority figures, but around his peers he tends to be blunt, or maybe even a bit of a smartass, but certainly never afraid to speak his mind.
When mad at someone, he has difficulty controlling himself. If he tries to avoid conflict, he'll end up taking out his anger on people close to him, but if he embraces conflict he jumps into a fight with no regard for his own well-being and no prior planning. He's rather impulsive.

Weaknesses: Organization, time management, essay writing, academic confidence, and sometimes tact. He's also predisposed to depression and anxiety, thanks to the ADHD.
Fears: Anything happening to his family, failing out of school or never being able to get into college, getting a girl pregnant

History
Peyton grew in Maryland, on the coast, and lived a very simple and happy life. His older sister occasionally made things hell for him, but it was never too bad. He struggled in school starting from age 10, and was quickly diagnosed with ADHD. His school life was a mix of highs and lows, but he coped by making friends, keeping the mood light, and getting involved in his school's sailing team. He was the shrimp of the litter for most of his life, always being shorter than his classmates, and compensating for his different-ness by being a bit of a class clown.
Tenth grade he spent at a different school, a school for kids with LDs, and in that one year he managed to sprout 10 inches taller, filling himself out and coming out looking like a totally different kid. For the first time in his life he felt like people might actually find him attractive, and when he returned home after that year, the response from his high school friends was astounding. Teaching sailing to kids at the local yacht club over the summer, he was suddenly getting approached by girls who were interested. In him! In his eagerness to impress them, his power kicked in and he had all the girls beaming. He's not sure how the school heard about him, but they did, and now here he is.
