Powers: Ergokinesis - the ability to convert energy in atomic particles into heat light or sound. Specifically, Marley can absorb electric-based energy. She can then release the energy as light, heat, or electricity once again. Side effects include insomnia due to a build up of energy, frizzy hair, burning oneself, and exhaustion from releasing built up energy. (While two side effects conflict, this is due to the delicate balance of energy within the user. It is very easy to absorb too much or release too much energy when the user is untrained)

General Appearance: Marley is 5'3", almost 5'4" with a slender frame and what she calls awkwardly skinny arms. She has naturally blonde, curly hair but prefers to dye it brown and straighten it. She thinks her brown eyes are boring, but doesn't really do anything with colored contacts because the idea of touching her eye freaks her out. Marley wears all sorts of different clothes, though usually tends to stay toward darker colors and has a particular liking for band t-shirts and chunky plastic jewelry.
Personality: Marley has a big attitude for such a small package. She doesn't like to put up with bullshit, and doesn't like it when people complain about a problem she finds to be stupid. She can come off as rude and snappy, but really she is just strongly opinionated and voices her opinions regularly. Since she moved between many foster homes as a child, Marley was not brought up in one particular way, and her response to authority figures vary. She usually respects adults if they give her a reason to respect them. However she isn't afraid to call teachers or trainers out when she feels they are wrong.
Marley never recieved a consistant education growing up, either. She isn't too great at school, and gets down on herself really easily. Her self esteem is very low, because as a child she was often told by other kids that nobody would ever adopt her. They would find stupid reasons to pick on her, and to this day Marley continues to find stupid reasons to pick on herself. It is very hard to change Marley's mind once it is made up and she does everything she can to finish things she's started.

History
Marley was abandoned by her mother when she was two year old, left outside a hospital wearing only a Bob Marley T-shirt. One of the nurses found her looking at the flowers - which is how she got her name - Marley Rose. She was put up for foster care shortly after and spent most of her adolescent years in various foster care homes.
When Marley turned 14, however, she was greeted one day by a man who claimed to be her older brother. After scouring records and doing blood tests, the claim was confirmed, and Marley was taken in by the 18 year old and his parents. Apparently he too had been abandoned and sent to foster care, but was adopted shortly thereafter. He had been pestering his parents to help find his sister for years, but they never believed him until he went and found her himself - 12 years later. He told her she was named Isabelle, and their last name was Warren. Marley decided she'd rather keep her given name.
Marley moved in with Cooper, but it was short lived. A few months into living with her new-found family, Marley stopped being able to sleep. The lights in her room kept flickering, and eventually going out. The next night at the dinner table, light bulbs started to explode. The next morning, a man was at his door telling her it was time to say goodbye again. She didn't resist as much as Cooper or his foster parents did, and now lives at Hammel through most of the year.
