Tired. Tired. Tired......sleeeeeepy.....

And that was what Oriel got for abandoning his afternoon nap to actually be a "Pro-active" student....which honestly wasn't half as bad as he initially thought but it was still annoying. He just felt like....he could sleep for eternity....Ok, maybe that wasn't true, but he wasn't about to let on that he was actually enjoying himself with the hard work and somewhat social interactions. Though in Oriel opinion, Penelope was still the only person on the dance team that he liked.

Maaaybe that cosplayer, but only because she was Lux's friend.

Tired......

Oriel had made it habit to show up early if only so he can catch a few winks before everything started. So that's exactly what the boy was doing, decked out in stupid grey sweats and t-shirt, lying sprawled out on his back across the stage of the auditorium, just daring anyone to come disturb him before he was ready to awaken. While the floor was ice cold and hard as a rock, Oriel was comfortable, though he did miss the warmth of an actual bed with another body in it....preferably Phoenix's body....

Damn, he was addicted to that boy, which couldn't be healthy, it stirred up all these weird feelings that he had no idea what to do about...so best choose to ignore them. Right, that was a plan.

Oriel rolled over on his side and curled up, hugging his jacket like a pillow and pretending he didn't notice anybody else in the auditorium.

Why was she here again?

Evony couldn't trace back the original inspiration of coming to the auditorium, let alone this early in the morning. It was as if she had wandered straight into the vast hall on auto-pilot, not remembering the any reason behind the visit.

Her night had been a futile struggle between fragile sleep and tormented dreams, something which eventually culminated in only an hour of proper rest. Her mind could not escape its guilt or ignore the sick empty feeling that pervaded her stomach. No matter how hard the girl tried she could not get her mind off...that person. Thinking about her would only make the sting worse.

The dainty thief was dressed in a simple light green tank top and a pair of snug little shorts that hugged her shapely bottom, standard exercise gear that she had unknowingly put on that morning. Her hair was a shade duller (Evony had not bothered to keep up the colour after the retreat), and the boring natural sandy colour was beginning to show beneath the torrent of blue. Various pieces of jewellery dangled against her wrists and ankles and the light pitter patter of her bare feet created a soft rhythm to her entry.

It had been a while since the last time Evony had come here, the recent months usually spent with her, and it all felt strangely foreign yet comforting in a weird sort of way. The smell of freshly cleaned floorboards and lemon soaked carpet welcomed her entry and the petite acrobat could not help but breath a sigh of relief.

Maybe dancing could take her mind of things.

Finding a comfortable spot in the corner, the girl sat down and reached for her toes, effortlessly stretching for no particular reason other than to keep herself awake. The low vantage point actually revealed the presence of another person, one not far from where her feet were pointing. His back was turned to her, probably one of the seniors who passed out drunk from a party the night before.

Hopefully they could manage proper sleep.

Releasing a wistful sigh the girl's upper half leaned forwards, stretching her skinny arms across the ground as her legs slowly spread out into the splits, blushing toes wiggling on both feet. Evy didn't even have to think, this all came naturally. Focusing on the full burn of her muscles might just relieve her of the torment that scuttled in her soul.

The day that Oriel let himself pass out from being drunk the night before was the day that Dr. Sean Neville pranced around campus in a pink tutu singing 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun'. Though if that ever did happen, then you can bet that Oriel would be right there prancing with him while he drank until he passed out.

Oriel smiled at the image of a very nice dream in his snoozing head, still not noticing that any other person had managed to sneak up on him without him realizing it. With a noise that was somewhere between a moan and a yawn, Oriel stretched himself out like a kitty, rolling himself onto his back and twisting himself about as he tried to get comfortable on the hard floor of the stage. Then he finally gave up and curled back up on his side, facing the blue haired acrobat, completely unaware of her presence.

The stupid smile was still there as he continued his happy dream of world domination….the boy might have also mumbled something to that effect as well whilst in his slumber.

Evony attempted to clear her mind, get rid of all unecessary junk and lingering turmoil and simply focus on the slow burn running through her limbs. Her skin felt dry but that was possibly due to the lack of a morning shower and her swaying limbs didn't possess the usual dainty grace it often showed. There was no one to entertain anyways so there wasn't much point actually trying to keep her poses perfect.

The sleepy and mysterious boy curled up not so far away occasionally mumbled, snorted or yawned; like someone who was having a very good dream. The thought forced a wan smile onto the Blue Bird's lips as she slowly lifted her legs and curled them above her, toes touching tip of her faded blue skull.

Funnily enough, the position actually helped her focus and it was only after several minutes of static silence and comfort did the mystery boy turn over and mumble something much more audible. Had it not been for her vigilant hands Evont would have swayed sideways in a bit of shock.

It was him, Oreo...or something like that. Her accent didn't help with the name at all.

He was a peculiar one, that's for sure.

Oreo slurred out sleepy gibberish but some words were audible, only barely. "Dick. Boy. Lion. Princess. Luxanna. Luxanna." The name brought a tinge of warmth to the little thief's heart and she couldn't help the amused chuckle that escaped her throat. Oh, now that was interesting.

"Not a chance." She tsked, rolling her eyes before tumbling forward and stretching her inner thighs. Lux didn't need the boy, as a matter of fact she needed no one. People hurt too much, even the beautiful ones who snored liked babies.

Oriel was so much enjoying his dream, but his internal time clock was telling him that he should probably get up soon and start the day. Though if it wasn't the internal clock, it definitely would be the alarm clock, the one on his phone, which sounded off with a delightful ringing of one of the 7 standard ringtones that came with his crappy old-style flip phone. He snoozed for about 0.3 seconds before popping his eyes open, sitting up suddenly while taking the phone from his pocket, promptly pressing the snooze button, then flopping back down onto the stage like a corpse.

And he lay there, unmoving like that with his back to the blue-haired girl, for about another 10 seconds…..before popping up again, flipping himself around half way to look behind him, and stare at Evony with a classic deer-in-headlights look.

It didn't last long though, as he caught his breath soon after and replaced his startled expression with an angry boy scowl, though it was hard to tell if the angry look was because he was honestly peeved at having been found in his "natural" state, or if he was just putting up a front as he usually did.

With someone like Oriel, it could go either way.

Frown still in place, the Oriel stretched his arms up and yawned, falling backwards and then rolling over to prop himself up into a squat, his elbows resting off his knees. He stared blankly ahead for a moment or two before he dipped his head, turning it towards the girl to shoot her an icy glare. "How long you been there?" he asked, sounding none too happy about….anything.

In truth, Evony wasn't all that bothered sharing the dance space with Luxanna's whipped boy. Sure, he's über annoying when conscious but slumbering boys always tended to strum the girl's affections, regardless of how irritating they tended to be. But sure enough, thoughts of sleeping beauties recoiled back into recent memories, ones which hurt to even think of.

And for a split second Evony hated the boy for snoring only because it reminded her of something long gone. Something cherished.

Shaking her head, the fatigued Blue Bird continued her stretches all the while attempting to block out the mewling sounds from the dozing pretty boy. Seconds passed over and the acrobat eventually entered a comfortable silence, one which was quickly shattered by the retro ringtone of Oriel himself.

Allowing a disappointed groan to escape her lips Evony warily observed the boy slowly wake up, a fascinating sight considering he didn't look so...irritating as he usually did. He just looked tired, grumpy and what anyone would expect from a waking teenage boy.

"Urgh...at least hide your morning wood before talking to me." She growled back, wrinkling her nose at the bulge in his pants. It was natural, but she was too exhausted to even consider that. Taking in a deep breath, Evony glanced at the handsome nuisance, curling her lips at his not-so subtle annoyance.

"I've been here long enough. Long enough to know that you snore and sleeptalk." The thief smirked lazily, pointing her toes before bringing her knees up to her chest and sighing. "Should I tell Lux that you get early boners when you dream about her?" Evony mused, pursing her lips with exaggerated cheekiness, well...feigned cheekiness. There wasn't much point dragging this fool into her emotional maelstrom.

Oriel was fairly aware of his sleeping habits having been told them over and over by his bedmates(and classmates), especially Phen. So while Oriel had the reputation of sleeping anywhere and everywhere, and didn't seem to mind showing it off to people in public areas(or generally public areas), there was still some level of embarras---……Ok, never mind. Oriel didn't actually care if people saw him. He just cared that it had been the cosplayer that was peeping in on him.

A sneer came over his newly rejuvenated features. "Make me," he said like a 5 year old kid. Apparently Oriel's brain hadn't switched on enough to come up with a better comeback.

Oriel looked away, clearly not amused with her ineffective attempts to shame him somehow. Anybody who truly knew the street kid knew that he had no shame. Just to clarify that, Oriel stood up and properly adjusted his pants to "hide his wood", making no efforts to do it subtly, even turning towards her slightly to make a show of it. "Happy?" he asked, holding out his hands. "And you can tell her if you want," Oriel bluffed, "but keep in mind that she ain't nearly ready to hear that kind of shit, and it'd be you who scarred her for life." If Oriel had anything to say about it, the Princess would never be let out of that safe little cocoon of hers, keeping her innocent for eternity.

With a crack of his neck and his back, Oriel let his arms go limp then started stretching them out. It was about time he started warming up. "You're here early," he commented, not really sure why he was continuing this conversation.

It couldn't be helped, the little grin that emerged on Evy's lips after Oreo's feigned insolence. At least he had some charm, nothing worse than dealing with dull individuals when the blue bird herself felt anything but vibrant. What could of been a taken for a bitchy sneer felt little more than a placid look of exhaustion on the girl's features. Even bothering to pretend to be annoyed took its efforts and the Blue Bird was left with nothing but a wan smile and a sleepy gaze.

However, watching Luxanna's faithful squire fiddle with his happy little 'friend' ushered the raising of a brow and stifling of a grin. Although her gaze was only brief it scoped out what was visible. Well, seems he had some 'assets'. Something which forced a papery thin giggle to pass from her lips.

"Luxanna's a big girl, you should know that...well, you probably don't. But this whole pseudo-brother with a boner act just confuses me..." The thief shrugged, pursing her lips before crumpling back down onto her back. "I'm surprised she's actually lasted this long not knowing about all that stuff." Evony whispered, considering just how innocent their mutual friend was.

She allowed a brief gust of wind to wash through the window and kiss her skin, sending goosebumps across the porcelain skin.

For a moment the blue haired girl actually felt calm...but that was probably from her fatigue.

"I couldn't sleep." She murmured, exhaling slightly before glancing at Oreo. Weird, since when was small talk a part of their communication? Ignoring the thought, the skinny swindler propped herself up on her elbows before gazing at the irritating white knight. "What about you huh? Rough night?" Her accent wrapping around the English like a silken blanket.

The small talk may actually help...

Oriel's deliberate disobedience of this cosplayer's request was expected to be met with offense and disdain. He expected her to scold him or go "eww" like a lot of normal girls did. But she didn't. And….Oriel couldn't help but return her amusement.

"Yeah yeah, I know…." Oriel admitted with a roll of his eyes. He was well aware how absurd a lot of his actions might seem to someone looking in. Oriel wasn't stupid and did have a sliver of rational. He just chose not to listen to it most of the time. Though to be honest, it confused him too as well. Oriel clearly liked Lux, he enjoyed being around her, he adored seeing her smile and he wanted nothing more than to hug and hold her for all hours of the day. But surprisingly enough, he was finding it difficult to decide whether those feelings extended to "that stuff", as Evony so put subtly put it. "If you happen to figure it out, mind clueing me in?"

He swung his arms back and forth in front of him, effectively cracking his spine with a twist of his torso. "Nah, just habit." One which Oriel had gotten into since his sleep schedule was finally balanced out at the retreat and he managed to maintain since getting himself a consistent bed-warmer.

Though he could sympathize with insomnia. His own thoughts seemed to race when he was left to himself at night.

His eyes panned over the pale-skinned girl. "Got something on your mind?" Oriel caught himself and turned away, keeping his eyes on the floor. "Not…not that I give a shit or nothing. Just that you're Lux's friend and…." Fuck. What was he even saying? Oriel peered his dark eyes through an equally dark screen of hair, possibly catching those of the blue-haired girl.

The very image of Luxanna being involved in a relationship only served to amuse Evony even further, and distract her mind from what really mattered. As much as this potential romance between Oreo and her beloved friend tickled the Blue Bird's curiosity it only served to make her own situation even more jarring.

Shaking her head, Evony granted herself a few seconds to contemplate the offer. "I think figuring it out is only going to give me a headache. But of anything comes up I may tell you..." She smirked, cocking a brow at the thought. "Although information usually comes with a cost." Evony added, blinking away the fatigue as she curled her lower half above her head, the tips of her toes touching her scalp. The hazy ultimatum seemed fair enough, because as far as she knew Oreo and her were still acquaintances who tolerate one another.

It was even more peculiar having a 'normal' conversation with someone after the days of solitude, especially someone she wasn't particularly find of.

The question itself seemed to be the necessary ice breaker, but it took a moment of contemplation from the thief whether it was with answering it or not. Returning to her neutral pose, the girl allowed an exhausted sigh to cross over her lips, troubled thoughts brewing in the back of her mind.

"Something on my mind? Maybe the fact that I haven't had sex in eight months and I can't bring myself to do it because..." Her gaze caught the boy's own, her eyes filled with sleepy apprehension and confusion, "because its not going to be with the person I want it to be with." She mumbled, a lot quieter than she expected. The admittance was strange, but it was only a sliver of the real anguish she felt deep within. "But whatever, doesn't matter." Evony quickly interjected, spreading her limbs across the floor like a starfish.

"What about you huh? Does Luxanna's faithful pet get lucky every night?" The thief offered dryly, rolling over till she was fully facing the boy. Best to keep the conversation on him and not on her.

Rowan was so pumped to be showing Callie some of the stuff he'd been choreographing lately. Back in Boston, when he'd been trying to get his mind off of the reason he was there, he spent a lot of time back at his old dance studio. Every time he needed to get away, he was there dancing and figuring things out for himself. Over the period of time he spent in Boston, he came up with a few different things and wanted to run them past Cynthia once he got back to work.

Seeing as how he hadn't gone on the retreat - and got hell for it - he was rather oblivious to a lot of things that happened. His best friend caught him up a little on the events that happened with her, and in short, he was on the look-out for a blue-haired manipulator. Whoever this Evony girl was...she hurt Lucy in a way he had never seen and to watch her like that, it drove him to the edge. Not being a violent person, he didn't plan on doing anything horribly mean to the girl. Maybe just a verbal beating if he could muster it up. Gosh what nerve did she have treating Lucy that way anyway?

"C'mon, I can't wait to show you this bad ass piece I choreographed with my cousin, she's a little smaller, but I'm sure it'll still work the same," He said to his little blonde cutie beside him. Rowan kept an arm around her shoulders - touchy-feely as he was - and led her towards the stage. He glanced up to see two figured already occupying the stage and he pursed his lips. Well hell.

Rowan barely noticed the dark-haired guy. His eyes were locked on the girl with the blue hair. Could it really be so easy? How many other girls in the school had blue hair? He glanced down at Callie and then back up at the other two, "Hey guys! Mind if we join you?" He put on his charmer smile and attempted to keep his posture casual.

Callie was incredibly glad to get Rowan back from his visit to his family. It meant she had her best guy friend with her again! She adored Rowan because he danced and was an all around amazing person - little did she know, he had a reputation he was incredibly proud of. In times of reputations, Callie always found herself painfully oblivious. It was because she didn't know that she didn't know there was anything to know.

Right? Right.

"I'm sure it'll be amazing," She replied, patting her hand against his gently. She tried to respect the fact that he wasn't the type to be so physical, but she was; "If it's good enough, we could even show Cynthia." Because she'd been dying to actually get to dance with him. And he knew that.

While Rowan honed in on the blue haired girl on one side, Callie looked at the dark haired boy instead. She recognised him almost instantly. It was hard to forget a face like his, and a night like that.

"You're on the dance team, right?" She asked him. But she wasn't really sure. "You're Penny's friend - Sorry, I don't actually think I ever got to hear your name."

Oriel curled a corner of his lips upwards, his eyes narrowing down at the blue acrobat. "A cost, huh? And how might I be showing my appreciation for this information, if you don't mind my asking?" Oriel spread his arms into a very graceful, though shallow, mockish bow.

His dark eyes twitched as she casually showed off her flexibility and…of course, Oriel had to be five years old and try to show her up. Or at least show off.

With a lurch forward, Oriel planted his hands on the flat surface of the stage and hefted himself into a hand-stand, his back slightly arched and one leg extended out over the other. He held that position through his next question. "Hey…If you ever need a bed warmer…my door's open." It wasn't necessarily an offer for sex, but if she took it that way, then he'd take it. Evony wasn't that bad looking and Oriel wasn't one to discriminate…much.

Oriel let himself fall forward, rolling himself smoothly back up to his feet. "Damn straight…well. Not every night." But most nights. After all, he didn't want to scare his new pet away by seeming too clingy. Phoenix was a fun project to work on, Oriel had already upgraded him from 'toy' to 'pet'. If the blue girl wanted to shift the topic to his sex life, then whatever.

It was about then that two more individuals approached the stage, one…very nice looking fellow - Oriel already knew where he could join him - and a very familiar blonde chick.

Riiiight, from the night when everything went to shit. As if he could forget that.

He did not need that kind of reminder walking in on his leisure time. "Yeah," he confirmed, his face fixed in a stoic scowl. Penny? Who was this chick anyway that she could call her that? Penelope hated that name. "Oriel. And yeah. Penelope's my dance partner."

Knowing not to waste an opportunity regardless of her current emotions, the skinny swindler felt a devious grin briefly slip over her lips. "Hmm...the cost would come at a favour of my choosing. Wherever and whenever, something equal to the information I may or may not give you." Evony shrugged, twiddling a strand of blue between her fingers before glancing back at the boy.

Oreo's movements did not go ignored by the blue haired waif and she lazily watched on as the boy performed to no one in particular. His form was impressive, strong and steady, but she wasn't going to tell him that. The boy had a big enough head as it was

His eventual offer did little to disprove said theory. A momentary snort broke the silence and Evony forced herself to blink away the amusement. He was seriously offering her space in his bed? "After what I saw a few minutes ago I'm not sure i want a sword poking me in the back whenever I wake up." She mused, staring at her fingernails as she allowed the momentary grin to subside. The acrobat truly did miss the warmth of another's bed...but not this boy, what could he possibly offer?

Any potential question was broken however when the duo entered.

Two white kids, a brunette boy and a leggy blonde. The Blue Bird did not bother to contemplate whether she'd seen either of them around, in truth she was still getting used to talking to one person, let alone two completely new people. On a normal day she would've welcomed the newcomers with open arms, but she remained quiet where Oreo scowled and spoke, only offering them the briefest of smiles.

"No need to ask for our permission." She said quietly, rubbing her eyes before sitting with legs crossed, her back against the wall.

Rowan appreciated that she respected his discomfort of touching and didn't try to force her affection on him. Not that it would have bothered him so much coming from her because much like Beatrice, he cared about her very much and knew that she didn't mean him any harm. "I was thinking that, too! I mean it's not so much the same style as we usually have at the House, but ya know, I think she'll like it a lot!"

Dancing was one thing that always brightened Rowan's outlook on life. It was such a good way to express himself. It made him happy when he had too much shit in his life to get through. Too bad the talk of dancing couldn't keep his mood from souring at the sight of this girl. Maybe he shouldn't have been so quick to judge because it very well could have been someone else, but it was unlikely.

His attention however was pulled from her briefly when Callie spoke to the other guy. That wasn't what really distracted him though. It was the way he caught this...ugo looking at his girl. Rowan was a bit protective of his little blonde Callie-cat. In fact, she was probably second to Beatrice, with Sammy as a very close third. So to see someone scowling at her as if she was some horrible being and to be so short with her, he didn't quite like it. Okay, it could also have been the fact that he was pissed off enough, but whoever this dark-haired guy was, he clearly didn't know who he was talking to.

He barely heard the blue-haired girl speak because he was now appraising the man in front of him. When he did catch what she said, he offered her a slight smile before his face fell into a snarky smirk, his arm draped around Callie's shoulders, "I'm sorry, Aereola. Do you have a problem? It looks like you just ate something terrible with that ugly ass scowl on your face."

Rowan simply couldn't help himself.
