General Appearance: Fashion obsessed, Faye spends a lot of time on her appearance. Some might say she's a bit out of control. She feels the need to have the latest trends and styles and spends more time than she'd admit getting ready in the morning as well as at the gym ensuring that she's toned and those overpriced clothes have a pretty figure to hang on. She stands an average height of 5'6", but nearly almost wears heels. Her hair is blonde and is usually styled in loose curls that flow down past her shoulders to her mid back. Her face is pretty, and has been described almost as feline like, her eyes are set slightly farther apart than she would like and ring a bright blue. All in all, she's always put together.


Personality: Vainness is probably one of the first things people note about Faye. She takes pride in how she looks and enjoys when others are impressed. She's also a bit of an ice queen, but not entirely purposely. She frankly just isn't the warmest person when you meet her, and remains very guarded except to a select few. Her outward personality is a product of fear. She struggles deeply with self worth, especially in regards to others. She both feels like she deserves other peoples time while also not feeling worthy of it at all. 

To her friends, she is a fierce protector. She takes relationships with people seriously and couldn't stand the thought of hurting those closest to her. This becomes a challenge though, because even to those who are closest to her she tends to snap at and be guarded at times. She's also fluent in sarcasm, which doesn't help as well.

Her students are something she takes nearly as much pride in as her image. She cares deeply for kids, and believes that teenage years are some of the most vital when it comes to figuring out what kind of person you'll ultimately end up as. She also believes in books. She adores books and wishes that people would read more of them. Because of this she strives to push her students to REALLY read the literature and form opinions on them as no two people will walk away from a piece with the same experience, much like life. Despite her passion, she has sent a couple students home crying. These are bad days as Faye doesn't enjoy that she comes off as quite a bitch, in fact she's embarrassed of it and has tried more than once to come off as nicer but it hasn't worked. She always has good intentions. 

Her sense of humor is surprising and unexpected. Under the makeup and ice queen facade is a 12 year old boy who laughs at fart jokes. It surprises even her that this is her humor, and she is just as happy watching Jackass movies as oscar winners.

History

Faye was born in San Diego California and is the second child to Jacob and Clara, after her older sister Dana. Her childhood was fairly normal, her mother was a stay at home mom and father a successful Lawyer who often made trips up to Los Angeles to represent clients,  sometimes weeks at a time. The times without her father Faye hated. She felt a greater connection with her father than her mother, her sister feeling oppositely. When he was home everything felt better to Faye. She was his little girl, and she lived to please him. When he was gone, Faye would act out, do worse in school, and act generally unpleasant to be around. 

When Faye was 11 these frequent trips to LA became more common, to the point where he'd sometimes be gone for months, on business. By the time Faye was 12 it had been discovered by her mother that Jacob had been having an affair with one of his clients on and off for the past five years. This absolutely crushed Faye, especially when he regretfully told her that he was going to move in with his mistress. Faye struggled with feelings of self worth from that point on, feeling traded for another family, and abandoned. 

Her teenage years went a bit smoother. When she was 13 she developed an odd ability that her mother discovered shortly after her summer birthday. At first they thought she was sick, as she was incredibly sensitive to the outside temperature, then her sweat started forming in little crystals. A Hammel representative showed up within days and she moved to vermont to harness her abilities.

She thrived at Hammel. She had many friends and loved high school, she also loved Pilot Ridge, it feeling truly home to her. She also learned to harness her abilities, and while they're still fairly modiste, she can now turn even a small pond into an ice good enough for skating, at least for a little while, which is probably her biggest trick. 

After Hammel, Faye attended Boston College and got her teaching degree. She also met her husband Dean while at school her freshman year. Faye fell hard for dean, she adored him and knew from the moment she met him she'd marry him. And she was right. Shortly after college the two were engaged and by the time Faye was 24 she was married. By 25 something unexpected happened though, Faye found herself pregnant. Children were something the two had discussed, of course thinking it'd be in the very distant future, but now wasn't something they were ready for. Dean didn't believe it was the right time and encouraged Faye to end the pregnancy, which she ultimately decided not to do. This caused a riff in the relationship which only got worse when Faye miscarried. This absolutely crushed her. Her husband however was relieved. The relationship never recovered and by the time she was 26 she was on her way, divorced, and moving out of Boston looking for a new start. 

It was then that she saw the teaching position in Pilot Ridge. She applied, and has been teaching English for the past few months.
