The Basics
Name: Robert Curtis Cook
Nicknames: Bobby
Age: 51
Orientation: Asexual
Desired Rank/Job: Local, Cab Driver
Powers: Clairvoyance/Psychic Navigation- Bobby has the ability to locate people. Through his mental maps he can then find a route to them. However, he can only track a person by touching an object of theirs. This object has to be something the person has interacted with in the past twenty four hours. The only exception to this rule, is a person that he has interacted with on a daily basis for at least a month. But this is harder and more draining on him and he doesn’t like to use it. His tracking works best within a radius of around 30 miles. Past that things start to get what he describes as “blurry”. This means that someone outside of this radius is harder for him to pinpoint, although he can still give general locations.
Bobby also always knows where he is and how to get where he is going though his mental maps. It’s not so much that he has street names and such memorized, he just follows on instinct.
His power is not as affective against those with strong mental shields. Depending on the strength of the other’s ability it may even be impossible. Using his tracking ability is a voluntary ability, whereas his Psychic Navigation is involuntary. Bobby has no ability to tell anything about the person he is tracking other than their location. Also he cannot track people who have died.
Tracking someone leaves Bobby feeling tired and depending on the distance can give him more severe exhaustion and migraines. Another side effect of this ability is that Bobby constantly misplaces and looses objects, such as keys, his wallet, and reading glasses. It seems that his mind is too busy keeping track of his body’s current location and doesn’t have the memory to keep track of anything other object.

The Details
Hair Color:Brown
Eye Color:Hazel
Any Piercings? He pierced on of his ears in his last years at Hammel, but took it out after college and it’s closed up.
Any Tattoos? None, although he’s always wanted to get one, he hasn’t found anything he would want permanently on his body
Any Scars? One on the back of his head, hidden by his hair (or hat) from when a customer robbed him.
General Appearance: Bobby keeps his hair very short, not that many people see his actual hair since it is usually under a hat of one form or another. Although beanies are his favorite, he also ops for baseball caps or the occasional cowboy hat in the summer. He keep his beard a tad on the scruffy side, but never lets it get too far out of control.
He's fairly casual when it comes to his dress. His wardrobe consists mainly of T-shirts and jeans. He loves shirts with catchy and funny sayings on them. He does own a few nice dress shirts and slacks but keeps those for very special occasions. He wears a two watches (one on each arm) that were once his fathers'. He keeps these watches very clean and always on time.
Bobby is not a very tall man, but he is light on his feet and keeps in shape. He also carries himself well, meaning he never slouches or hunches his shoulders when he walks. This gives the effect that he's taller and bigger than his actually is sometimes. He is usually smiling, even if he doesn't necessarily feel like smiling. This is partly because it helps to keep his customers satisfied to be enjoyable and partly because he'd rather fake a smile than start an argument.
Bobby is a very still man, meaning he is perfectly content to just sit for long periods without fidgeting. He doesn't gesture largely or often raise his voice.
Personality: To outsiders, Bobby may seem like a very extroverted individual and he tries hard to keep up that appearance. Truthfully though, he much prefers smaller groups of two or three and needs his alone time to feel sane. And although he knows a lot of people in Pilot Ridge, this is mostly because of his job. So while he's friendly with a lot of people, he keeps his group of friends on the small side. Still, he's very close with those he does consider his friend.
Bobby doesn't like silence. It helps that he will talk to anybody or anything. But if there is no one in his cab or apartment to talk to, he is usually blasting music.
Bobby feels extremely uncomfortable around fights or arguments of any kind and always thrust himself into the role of peace-maker. Whether it's two guys at a bar about to get into a fist fight, or two friends arguing politics, he's quick to step in to diffuse the situation. This also means that he won't argue with anyone about his feelings or opinions. Or get into a physical fight. While he doesn't have much of backbone to stand up for himself, it's more that he just doesn't see the reason for arguing, not that he isn't convinced that he's wrong.
As far as romantic relationships go, personally Bobby still isn't comfortable with sharing his asexuality. While he has no interest in the sexual side of a relationship, that doesn't mean he would say no to any relationship at all. As for those around him, Bobby loves to play cupid. He's constantly trying to set people up, both his friends and his customers. And he's always thrilled when his pairings work out.

History
Bobby always hero worshiped his fathers when he was young. He never knew who was his actual father between the pair, and never wanted to. He always felt privileged to have two dads, even if it did sometimes lead to uncomfortable questions. Still, the situation taught him to be very accepting. When he manifested at age thirteen, he was excited to go the same school that his parents had. Still the transitions was hard, even though his family was close by, he still lived at the Hammel dorms. Still the separation was felt by Bobby, even more so because he felt like a crucial piece of him was missing when he could no longer track his family members without an object. So for his first few years at Hammel, his parents made the two hour trip every day to the school to visit with him so that he could maintain their location. When his sister also joined him at Hammel, Bobby told them he was grown up enough that they didn’t have to come everyday anymore. But really, it was more about having a family member at Hammel than being grown up.
Still, his parents would send him often in the mail often, as a surprise. One day when Bobby was sixteen he opened a package to find two watches. Recognizing them as his fathers’, he touched them to see where is fathers were and found he could not locate them. An hour later, his mother arrived at Hammel with the news that his fathers had died. There was a car accident. Caleb died on impact. And Curtis also passed away, unable to live without his other half.
Bobby’s last few years at Hammel were hard. Coupled with his fathers’ deaths was the feeling that he wasn’t normal. Unlike his peers in school, Bobby wasn’t interested in sexual relationships. He was often teased for his views on this, especially when people found out he was a virgin. Although his mother, sister, and the school’s staff were there for him, he couldn’t get past the feeling that something was missing or wrong with him. After graduation, he went traveling, hoping to find what he was looking for on the open road. He toured the world for ten years, returning to Vermont a few times each year to see his mother and younger sister.
Bobby finally settled in New York City, where he found the job he believed to be his calling, driving a cab. It was instinct for him to find his way around the city and he enjoyed driving around. Although his customers weren’t always talkative, or even polite, he also enjoyed the surprises that came with hit day to day job. He also started taking classes on-line and in the evenings to receive his Bachelor’s degree in business hoping to one day save enough to have his own cab business.
Five years ago, one of Bobby’s customers attacked and robbed him. Half because of his mother’s request and half because of his own fear, he decided to make the move back to Vermont. There he set up his own taxi cab company.
