The BasicsName: Anthony Scott Freudenberger
Nicknames: Tony, Scott, and a multitude of other cruel nicknames from immature kids
Age: 19
Orientation: Heterosexual
Desired Rank/Job: Student
Powers: Plushie Manifestation: Anthony is able to manifest plushies and stuffed toys from thin air. He is only allowed to manifest on average 10 medium sized plushies per day. The less time waited in between manifestations, the lesser in quality they become. After exhausting all ten of his plushies, Anthony must rest for an entire 24 hours from the time of the last manifestation before he can make more. Creating plushies causes dizziness and he is liable to fall/pass out from extreme vertigo after creating many in succession. This is an emotionally triggered power, and so during times of high stress, such as anger, nervousness, sadness, Anthony may start to manifest his plushies randomly and out of control in his general area, making it literally rain plushies of various sizes, usually small and mini-sized.

General Appearance: Anthony is a sturdy boy, reaching up to about 5'10" and weighing in at about 170lbs. It's all muscle, though, as he engages in physical training on a regular basis either at the gym or on the track. He keeps his dark hair trimmed short and will cut it once every 6 months into a military buzz, letting it grow out again until his next hair appointment. Anthony holds a sturdy jaw and a derpy smile, one that is characteristically boyish despite his responsible nature.
His attire is kept simple, usually just a solid-color t-shirt and jeans for his normal days. When he doesn't leave himself time to dress out between work-outs, Anthony will just be found in grey sweats or black basketball shorts and a muscle shirt. He has a love of combat boots, or just boots in general, and will often sport those over sneakers at any time of the day, regardless of what he's doing. He'll only wear sneakers in the weight room or for gym class.
Personality:
Anthony is a pretty straight laced guy, having come from a military family along with his desire to enter the USAF himself. His dream is to become a pilot. To this end, he works hard, almost obsessively so, at building his physical fitness and his leadership skills so that he may succeed easier in the future. While he tries to allocate these efforts towards his academics, Anthony tends to fall short, maintaining only Cs with an occasional B in subjects that he prefers.
While he might seem to be a bit stiff, Anthony is actually pretty easygoing in conversation and his personal relations. He's a lot harder on himself than he is on others and will give people as many chances as they need to get where they need to be. Anthony can be incredibly patient in this respect. Though he will give proper encouragement when he feels it appropriate, followed by an attempt to lighten the mood with a poorly timed joke and a derpy smile.
He doesn't get upset very often, but when he does, it's usually in response to criticism and even then he doesn't express it well. Anthony can get frustrated when working with people just not up to par and will defend others from harsh words, however, when those words are directed at himself, he tends to internalize them, over-think them, and fall into a depression that he will hide with a strained smile until he can vent it out at the gym. Anthony doesn't like conflict or confrontation in regards to himself. He might express his frustrations to his close friends just as a way of venting, but usually will not expect anyone to do anything about it, accepting that his problems are things he needs to solve himself.
Anthony can also be quite the child too. He likes the epic and will try to execute the epic whenever possible. As such, Mythbusters and Top Gear are a couple of his favorite TV shows. He likes to go over the top with things he does, like with his model rockets or his computer games, and will openly boast about how great he his when he succeeds. Humility? What's that? When raised to believe you walk on water and can do no wrong, it's hard to be humble about your successes.Your VicesLikes:

People who don’t even try
People who abuse their authority
Being cock-blocked - that is, being prevented from implementing his ideas in favor of someone else’s that’s not as good as his
Strengths:
Talking to people - He might be a little awkward and make stupid jokes, but he’s generally ok meeting new people and being friendly to them
Empathy - Anthony can easily see things from another point of view or both sides of an argument/issue.
Patience - He’s not a doormat that will ignorantly wait forever, but does know things come up, people have circumstances, and that it does not good to rage about something you can do nothing about. If he happens to lose his patience, you know it’s a big deal.
Singing - He’s got a beautiful baritone voice
Problem solving - He likes to think about things rationally, but has enough creativity to see and think outside the box for an innovative solution rather than just a practical, do-it-the-same-old-way solution.
Works hard - He has good work ethic and likes to be involved in as many things as he can.
Weaknesses:
Spelling - But that’s why we have computers with spell-check, right?
Reading - He’s a little slow on reading, especially on complicated stuff, unless it’s something he’s interested in.
Receiving Criticism - It frustrates him especially when he worked really hard on whatever it was he did. Even more when he knows - he knows - that his ideas were better than anyone elses and the critical guy is just butt-hurt and on a power trip. But criticism also makes him doubt himself and he tends to sink into a hole of depression for a short while.
Arrogance - He thinks he farts roses and shits rainbows. He was always told he could get anywhere in life on his good looks and charms, so he has a bit of an ego. But it’s completely warranted! He doesn’t just think he’s good, he knows he’s good.
Poor dexterity - This makes it difficult for him to type quickly on the computer or play certain types of video games, like guitar hero. He also cannot play piano, though he’s tried before.
Mathematics - Especially algebra and imaginary numbers. Actually, just numbers in general. He can’t visualize them and often counts on his fingers for simple arithmetic.
Fears:
Invalidation
Failing
People being upset with him
That his parents hate each other and him
Secret:
His parents are on the verge of a divorce, already separated, and it's stressing him out a lot. He doesn't want anyone to know, however, because he thinks it's embarrassing. Anthony tries to deal with it alone but the stress is starting to get to him.Family TiesFather: Mark Allan Freudenberger

Anthony was born on the military base in Colorado Springs, Colorado, at the Airforce Academy hospital. For the rest of his years, he followed his family across the country for his father's job in the airforce, changing schools every 6 to 12 months and never really having a concrete place to call home. It was difficult on him because while it was easy for him to integrate into social groups and make friends, it was hard leaving them and sometimes when he returned to that school later in the years, his old friends were uninterested in renewing their associations with him. But that was Ok, because he was Anthony Scott Freudenberger and he could easily find new friends!
Or so he thought. During his later elementary years and his middle school years, Anthony was constantly teased for not only his name, which was just down-right funny to say, Anthony was also teased for falling behind in his studies and having to be transferred into special education, though what was wrong exactly his teachers and doctors couldn't say. When he was in 5th grade, Anthony was diagnosed with Tourette's Syndrome, a disorder accompanied by involuntary tics and twitches, sometimes even a strange utterance would fall from his lips. His cognitive abilities were just fine, his parents argued, and insisted that he be taken out by 7th grade. Anthony did fine, average academically, but socially he was still the victim of cruel children's pranks and unkind words. Finally he just got tired of it and fought back. It wasn't a terrible feat, just dragging the other kid in a headlock for a ways, but it was enough to stop the teasing while he was at that school.
Things started to get better for him. He still wasn't doing spectacularly in school, but he was excelling in other areas. His disorder was mild enough that it didn't interfere with his schooling or social activities as much as the doctors thought it would. In 9th grade he was even elected treasurer of his class. Anthony was planning on running for student office again come the next year, but that was unfortunately not to be.
Just before his 16th birthday, Anthony finally manifested. It would have been an adorable even if it also wasn't completely embarrassing. So there was this girl that he really liked, Anthony had his eye on her for a while and would often watch her like a shy-dork from the back of the room. They were in the ROTC program together too, she was beautiful, Anthony was certain she was going to be the one! He finally worked up the nerve to talk to her and ask her out. As he was talking and she was looking oh so cute, it started raining. Not regular rain and she was the one who noticed first with a sharp and adorable squeak, but tiny little stuffed dolls started falling over the two of them from the air above them, bouncing off their heads and to the ground. Other students looks and pointed and stared at the two of them, and, completely confused, Anthony turned red and toppled to the ground in a bout of unexplained dizziness. He awoke later in the school infirmary and was informed by the nurse(who happened to be a meta and was well acquainted with the process of manifestation and recruitment) explained to Anthony what had happened and what to expect over the next few days.
Having already become used to moving around so much, Anthony was fine with changing schools again because of his power. He wasn't altogether bothered by it, in face, and thought it was a little cool, if a little girly. It was his parents, however, that had the problem. The days between Anthony manifesting and his recruitment was filled with nothing but stress at home, with his mother and father arguing over the whole incident, what it meant for his future, who's fault it was that their child had become a meta and a plethora of other problems that had been brewing but only now had come up. Consequently, he was glad to be out of there. Well, glad and sad, because while he was excited about starting a new life, he felt like his manifestation had completely ruined things between his parents. If he hadn't manifested, then they could still be living the happy, stable life that they always had, right?
It was a year after he started at Hammel that he heard that his parents had finally separated. It was only at his urgings that they didn't get a divorce outright, but the longer things go on, the more likely that that was going to happen. Now he's in his final year at Hammel, at least he hopes so, but he's still having issues with controlling his power. With all the stress going on with his homelife, or lack thereof, Anthony has thrown himself into improving himself, to make him a better person than either of his parents, participating in as many activities and volunteer events as he can to give himself a sense of self-worth and accomplishment.Roleplay Example
