Phoenix would have been bouncing into the computer labs if not for his crutches; as it was, he just hobbled excitedly, his broken wings fluttering weakly behind him. He kept looking back to make sure Gryphon was following, and, seeing he was, hurried on until they were inside. He'd been to the place several times with his boyfriend, working on various projects; it took only a second to locate the dark-haired boy, and Phoenix made a beeline for him, waving at his old friend to follow.

"Oriellll," he sang out, launching himself as best he could at the guy with his broken limbs. It was a weak effort despite his excitement; he was tired from the trip down, even if it wasn't that long. It was amazing how much harder it was to get around with the stupid crutches. "I missssed you," he cried, burying his face into his lover's chest. He stayed there only a moment, though, quickly pulling back slightly and looking back at Gryphon.

"This is him!" he chirped, beaming at the winged boy, who he only now realized was still wearing his glasses. .... Oops. "Gryphon, meet Oriel. Oriel, meet dimple-face." He let out a small giggle, hoping that there wouldn't be any sort of tension to come.

"I knew him back when we were like, eight," he gushed. "We were friends until..." He trailed off; no need to bring up the dark stuff. "But he's here! Isn't that crazy?" He grinned up at Oriel.

Gryph followed Phen all the way to the computer labs, with not so much of a spring in his step as the boy in front of him, but he was still anxious to meet this 'Oriel'. Once they were there, apparently, Gryph took a deep breath and put on his friendliest smile.

He was going to be nice.

He was going to be civil.

He repeated thoughts like this in his head as he approached the doorframe, hoping the repitition of positive statements would help him act in an appropriate way. He didn't want to muck this up, but he really didn't like the sound of Oriel. And he wasn't sure what to expect. What did he look like? How would he first react? His mind was just tangling into a confused mess as he passed the threshold into the room and saw him.

He struggled to keep his wings down, the feeling of threat steadily seeming to stir his very core. It was just the way he looked, the way he stood, the way he presented himself that set off the alarm bells. He recognized his face, but with no idea as from where. He scowled for a moment, but as soon as Phen turned to face him, he transformed his face into something pleasant, a beaming, charming, friendly smile that showed off the dimple that Phen so kindly pointed out by referring to him by his nickname.

He walked a little closer, trying so hard to stay delightful, "Hi, I've heard quite a lot about you." His tone was warm, but etched with something sharp. Unless he could convince him otherwise, Gryph had no respect for this guy.

Oriel was still frustrated with working with this impossible equipment. Was it even working? Fuck if he knew. But now was probably not the best time for him to be meeting new people, especially not "new" old friends of Phoenix. Oriel had issues enough with the girlfriends that Phoenix seemed to be accumulating(not that there were many but still), but at least he either knew them somewhat well enough to trust them, or he knew they were gay, and besides, Phoenix had reassured him that he wasn't interested in girls anymore and……just stop thinking Oriel, you're going to drive yourself crazy again.

Oriel took a deep breath and closed his eyes. A moment later, he looked up at the time. Phoenix should be done with detention by now. He was expecting his lover any minute now. With another breath, Oriel started shutting down the computer program. No need to have it open and have his friend start asking questions. Oriel was self-conscious enough as it was.

He had just done that when the door opened and Phoenix walked in with another asian boy strolling in behind him. An…asian boy with wings? Oriel furrowed a single brow at that.

Oriel stood as Phoenix came leaping at him, catching his love in his warm embrace and wrapping his large arms around that thin frame, keeping sure to not jostle his wings too much. He kept his eyes on the other boy, however, studying him. And maybe thinking he'd seen him before.

As he let Phoenix pull away, Oriel kept one arm possessively wrapped around his shoulder. Dimple-face? They were close enough for nicknames? Even though they were only friends when they were children?

Oriel's scowl only deepened. Not even that bright, suck-up smile and attempt at flattery deterred him from glaring. Oriel lifted a finger, tentatively, then pointed it at the one known as 'Gryph', aka, Dimple-face. "I know you….." he announced, bobbing his finger in Gryph's direction. Oriel rarely forgot a face. "I've glared at you before…." He finally averted his eyes into his memory banks. "But where…?"

Phoenix was blissfully unaware of the thoughts going through Gryphon's mind at the time. As far as he knew, his friend was just nervous to meet Oriel, especially after the warning Phen had given him about the boy's possessiveness.

The arm around his shoulders made Phen feel giddy, as it usually did, and he gave Oriel's side a pinch, looking between the two of them. Gryphon looked fine enough, smiling and greeting Oriel pleasantly. Maybe this would be fine! Yes, yes, it would be just fine.

Oriel, however, had on a scowl, as Phen should have - okay, as he did expect. His comment made Phoenix blink. "You guys know each other already?" he asked curiously. He pouted at the 'glaring' bit, hitting Oriel's chest lightly. "Well then, that's great!" Right? Maybe they had something in common.

"Do you guys wanna stay here, or go somewhere else, up t'the dorms or somethin'...?" Phen didn't know if this would be the most comfortable place for greetings, but he'd leave it up to them. "I can tell you all about each other and, uh... You guys can be best friends. Yeah?" He gave a big, optimistic grin, nuzzling Oriel's arm before reaching out and plucking his glasses off of Gryph's face, stuffing them in his pocket. "Thief," he snickered.

With every word that Oriel uttered, Gryph's face drooped a little bit more, until a frown smothered his face. He was almost scowling, but he was trying his best, he truely was, to stay... nice.

He shrugged his shoulders, "I honestly don't know." He was racking his brain quite a lot, trying to work it out. He could easily be in one of his lessons, but something told him.it wasn't that. He shook his head and continued his reply, "Nope. Don't know."

He looked at Phoenix as he spoke, but slowly his vision edged up to keep sight of Oriel. The arm he kept around Phen... that made him techty. 'Best friends?' He almost snorted at that. "Here's fine with me."

His attitude changed as soon as Phen came within six feet, smiling genuinely as Phen took his glasses back, "It wasn't stealing, it was borrowing without asking!" He chuckled until his attention drew back to the matter at hand.

Gryph's eyes scanned Oriel up and down and he took in the image; what a tool. And for some reason, that seemed to flick the switch. It was probably his physique that gave him the possible answer, "Do you go to the dance club here?" It was one of Gryph's favourite activities, dancing. He had been teased a few times about it when he first joined the club, but he was a pretty confident performer now. His wings definitely helped to balance.

He couldn't believe how sidetracked he was getting. He came back into reality and smirked snidely at Oriel. If he tried to pull anything right now, he would be down for the count before he could say 'Gryphon Bastien Matsuoka.'

Well, at least this chink got the idea that Oriel wasn't just someone you could butter up with smiles and flattery. At least he didn't have to stare at that dimple anymore as Gryph's smile gradually fell into a scowl. Though even like that, his face looked funny. Yup, Oriel could totally make fun of his face.

But what irked him was the fact that this Dimples character was taller than Oriel. He straightened himself casually, up to his full height and…nope. Gryph was still taller. Oriel's scowl only deepened. He snorted a stray hair out of his face.

Their friendly banter was grating on him too. This guy was close enough that he could steal Phoenix's glasses as a joke? His scowl grew deeper.

But it actually softened a bit when Gryph finally asked about the dance club. "Right," he said simply. "That's where I seen you before." Oriel had only participated from the end of September to the end of October. Since then, he'd been kept out of school activities because of his fights with Kodi and Erik, in addition to having been in the hospital himself. By now, Oriel wasn't even sure it was worth it to go back when he could. No doubt the team members had heard about the incidents and…well, Oriel didn't care what they thought, the whole lot of them could go fuck themselves(except for maybe Pen and Evony, they were cool).

Oriel considered for a moment, then addressed Phoenix's previous suggestion. "Yeah, let's go talk somewhere else instead of just standing here like a couple of giant cocks prepping for a death match." He smirked, releasing another snort. "Shall we?" He would let Gryphon go first, but before Phoenix could move, Oriel pulled him in and laid one on him, a long, deep, sensual kiss. Just to remind Phoenix who he was supposed to be showering with affection. Once done, he ushered his boyfriend out into the hall, licking his lips with a satisfied grin.

Phoenix began to realize Gryphon wasn't as happy as he seemed to be putting on - his heart skipped seeing his friend's face drop, and his own smile fell, brow furrowed worriedly. Now they were both scowling, and Phen didn't want that! "M-maybe you guys have just seen each other in the halls or..." he offered meekly, situating himself a little so he was standing between them while still having Oriel's possessive arm around him. He wanted to pull Gryph in too, but he wasn't sure that was a good idea with them giving each other dark looks.

Why couldn't everyone just get along!?

He did give a little laugh, though, at Gryphon's response to his stealing back his glasses. Phoenix pouted, pulling them back out and placing them on the bridge of his own nose as he stuck out his tongue. "Sounds like thievery t'me," he retorted, reaching out and poking that dimple again.

Phen didn't notice Oriel purposefully stand himself taller, but he did realize that he was the shortest one there. And definitely the scrawniest. His pout reappeared at this realization, but then Gryphon was asking Oriel about the dance club, and he looked between the two of them, eyes wide. "You guys both dance?" he breathed. "You're both gonna have t'teach me, then!" He had the dancing ability of a drunk noodle, and he'd wanted to change that, though with his current state, that was unlikely. "Oriel, you haven't started going back t'practice, right?" he said softly. "Maybe this would be a good time for you t'do it?" He was all for encouraging his squishy to do things he liked.

He was conflicted now, though - Gryphon was fine staying here, and Oriel wanted to go. Phen wavered uncertainly, looking between the two, but Oriel seemed pretty adamant about going. "Um, we can go t'my room," he offered; he hardly ever used it anymore, it'd be clean. "I-If you want, Gryph?" Before he could do much more, though, Oriel sucked him into a kiss, one that made the pixie's heart flutter and his legs turn to jelly. He took it for as long as it was offered until they broke apart, feeling a bit dizzy and wobbling a little as he started walking forward. Feeling nervous about the PDA, he reached out to grab Gryphon's wrist again, awkwardly trying to grab Oriel's at the same time, but it didn't really work with crutches; both of the metal items clattered to the ground. ".... Oops," he mumbled, cheeks flushing as he tried to lean down and pick them up.

Gryph saw Oriel adjust his posture, and realised why soon after. He gave the shorter boy a smug smirk, and felt his wings flare out just a little so that around half of each was visible. He had already won on some front.

He had to admit, Phen looked adorable when he had his glasses on. The corner of his mouth nearest his dimple twitched upwards when he poked the indent in his cheek, and he retorted, sticking his tongue out at Phen as well, before quickly attemptinf to swipe the glasses back and place them on his own face again. "You were sayin'?" He would say, winking cheekily. He didn't care if Oriel was there, he still enjoyed Phen's company.

Oh, he remembered now. He tried to avoid the gossip that ran around the dance club like the plague, since a lot of the members were female, and gossiping seemed to be their forte, but he still heard about what had happened with Oriel. The problem with gossip was you could never know what to believe, but... it wads believable. On the days that he was at dancing, the pair seldom spoke. Probably the reason why it was difficult to recall him in the first place.

He wasn't looking forward to seeing him again at practice, especially not now. If he decided to return, that was.

He chuckled at Phoenix's childlike excitement, "I don't think anyone can teach you t'dance when you're in that state, Phennie." After the nickname left his mouth, he had a feeling it would get on Oriel's nerves, so he couldn't help but to grin, partially from amusement, and partially from the possible reaction from Oriel.

Gryphon raised his hands slightly and shrugged his shoulders at the offer that hung in the air, "Fine by me." He didn't want to seem like the bad guy. As soon as he saw Oriel dive for Phen's lips, Gryph averted his eyesight. It was something that just the thought of, let alone the sight, made him feel physically sick, and made a flare of anger rise up. He didn't want either of them to see that happen, even though his wings shivered a little and stretched, like someone had tugged on the tips and then let go. He was at his limit of tolerance by the time they pulled apart. This Oriel guy seemed kniving, dangerous! How could Phen stand being near him, especially that close?!

The tight expression he had adopted pressured his features, but all of the tension released once Phen's crutches came crashing down. He bent down and took up the one nearest him, before reaching for the other, that lay nearest to Oriel, "It was just an accident." He said cheerily, even though his speech was obviously weighed down a little by his mood. He looked up at Phen and smiled understandingly. The crutches had been difficult enough when he was 11 and he broke his foot. You never got used to them, they were almost always uncomfortable and difficult to work with, but it wasn't like you had a choice in the matter of using them.

Oriel continued his glare, being none too happy at how cluelessly friendly Phoenix was being towards this guy. And Phoenix…the dork didn't even realize that Gryph himself was engaging in a show of male dominance. And Phoenix was obviously the one stuck in the middle of this silent pissing contest.

"No…" he said simply to Phen's question about returning to the dance club. "I haven't." And now that he knew that this guy was going to be there, Oriel wasn't sure he wanted to anymore. No….Oriel wasn't going to run away this time. He knew he was good at what he did, he didn't want to give up something he enjoyed for something like Gryphon.

Gryphon…what a stupid name.

He smirked, cocking his head arrogantly and letting his hair fall down his shoulders. "Yeah….think it's 'bout time I go back. Should be starting up again sometime in January." He was sure the dance teacher would be glad to see him again.

The nickname did bug Oriel and it made him nearly roll his eyes. Could he be any more uncreative?

But Oriel had his own tactics. That's what the kiss was for. Not just to remind Phoenix who was his boyfriend, but also to stick it to Gryph that, hey! Oriel had privileges. And boy was it a privilege to send Phoenix into a fluster like he did. His smirk broadened into something a little more amused and less defensive when Phoenix flustered himself into dropping his crutches. Oriel move forward and grabbed his hands. "Good job, Squishy. Sure you don't want me to just carry you like a princess….again?" He slid one hand behind his Phoenix, resting it firmly on the small of his back. Oriel planted another affectionate kiss on Phen's forehead.

The eyesore could pick up the crutches.

Phen was giggling when Gryph tried (and succeeded) at stealing his glasses back. "Hey!" he protested, pouting but not trying to take them back this time. "Oh... Fine, you keep them, you look better than I probably do anyway." He liked his glasses, but they were sort of a pain. He stuck his tongue out again before giggling again and dropping his gaze.

His attention turned to Oriel when he talked about the dance club, his lip pouting and eyes going all wide and puppy-ish as he concluded he hadn't gone back. "I never got t'come watch you," he sighed. "If you go back... I can watch you both!" He looked between the two of them, smile returning. At Gryph's comment about him not being able to dance, his face dropped, and he sighed, though this time he was just sort of playing along. "Not my fault, I got weak bones..." he mumbled, scuffing his good foot. "As soon as I'm better, I'm... I'm gonna kick both your butts at dancin'!"

He lit up as Oriel agreed to go back, and he let out a little squeak of excitement. "Awesome," he breathed, beaming up at his Squishy. "You guys will be dancing friends!" He looked between both of them again, still blissfully ignorant. He just wanted them to get along, dammit!

Phen was aware that Oriel was doing his normal 'Phoenix is mine and look what I can do to him' routine that he'd grown used to over time. Unfortunately, the poor pixie had absolutely no resistance, even if he knew that Gryph was there and probably wouldn't appreciate it. Damn boyfriend, kissing him and being all over him like that... No wonder Phen dropped his crutches. He watched worriedly as Gryphon reached down and picked them up for him, and snuck in and gave the boy a quick hug before taking the dumb things back and putting them under his arms. "Thanks, dimple-face," he smiled, looking back at Oriel as he spoke up and took his hands. He pouted again, and continued to pout as Oriel kissed his forehead. "I'm not a princess," he said, his voice thick with pretend grouchiness, but he broke into a laugh a moment later. "I... I got it."

With the crutches held firmly in his hands (even though he wanted to hold the hands of his friends instead), he started wobbling off, leading the way back to his dorms. Maybe, if he left Oriel and Gryphon together behind him, they would start getting along.

Yeah, right. "I better see you guys kissin' with friendship by the end of the day," he told them both cheekily, keeping his eyes forward.

Gryph pouted and pushed Phen's glasses up his nose, accepting his victory, but not the comment that the boy had made. He felt the need to counter it with something more... positive. "No~, you look adorable in glasses!" He smirked and waggled the glasses on his face, leaving them there afterwards. They weren't uncomfortable, and he could still see, so he was good.

His heart rose when Oriel seemed discontent about returning, but it sank a thousand feet again when he decided that he was indeed going to go back. He did not want to spend more time with that dweeb than was necessary. But then again... if he was going to stay around Phen, he obviously needed to be friends with Oriel, at least for the time being. His original state of mind returned, and Gryph became as determined as possible to be the best friend to someone who seemingly hated his guts.

The quick hug was like a boost of confidence, too. He was going to be as good as he could be, for Phen's sake. So he could be happy.

Even so, his face went hard when Oriel spoke again. And kissed Phen again. It was something he couldn't help, but at least he wasn't making any snarky comments.

Once they were moving properly, and Phen was ahead, Gryph shot Oriel a look of hate. He was going to act as a friend, yes... when he needed to. There was no point faking it in front of the man himself, although he was tempted to act extremely sickly sweet just to get on his nerves.

He rolled his shoulders to crack his back, but also to accentuate that he was taller than Oriel. He wasn't going to drop that fact easily.

Kissing with friendship? Gryph had seen enough kisses from Oriel already, he didn't need to have to deal with anymore.

Watching the two of them interact, the only thing Oriel wanted to do was snatch those glasses right off that guy's face and then punch him right in the dimple. But no…Oriel was supposed to be practicing self-control, which hadn't he been doing that all this time in the first place? And Oriel would have to say he'd been doing a great job keeping himself from chucking this wanna-be boy-band idol into the wall behind him. Oriel could see it in his eyes. Gryph didn't just want to be friends, he wanted to steal Phoenix away from him.

Well, Oriel wasn't going to let that happen. And the best way was to keep reminding Phoenix exactly who his boyfriend was.

Fuck! He just wanted to pick Phoenix up, kick this guy to the side, and run away with him.

Oriel sneered. "He's right, you know," he said, keeping his eyes on Gryph, cursing his impudence. "You look adorable in glasses." Oriel turned to look on Phoenix, a softer smile following. "I'm glad you got them, they been helping, right?"

Oriel nearly burst into a giggle fit when Phoenix challenged them both at dancing. He wasn't sure if Phoenix could get that good so quickly, but his enthusiasm was adorable. It was bright and innocent and almost enough to distract him from the ugly lemonhead.

Once Phoenix had gotten himself situated with his crutches again, Oriel quickly placed another two kisses on either cheek of his Squishy and sent him on his way. "If you say so." Oriel loved seeing him pout like that, even if he knew it was an act. It was still darned cute. And meant just for him.

Once they got moving again, with Phoenix in front of the other two boys, the happy-loving gaze dropped as he was now forced to pay attention to voyeur. Hmph, so what if he was taller, Oriel didn't care in the least(lies!) and he hunched over just to prove that fact, stuffing his hands into his pockets, leering over at the bird-man with a mischievous grin. "Kissing with friendship, you say?" Oriel repeated, licking his lips. "Well, we oughtn't disappoint him now, should we?" That was the one thing about being a shameless slut like Oriel; you could kiss and fuck anything, even if it was fugly and someone you hated. Oriel sent two quick air-kisses Gryphon's way. "What do you say, Squinty?"

Phoenix shook his head, flushing at the double praise, and looked at the ground. "I dunno about that," he mumbled, trying to hide his blushing cheeks. He liked the glasses, but he thought he looked like a nerd in them. At least Gryph could pull them off well, too - and Oriel could pull off anything. At Oriel's question, he looked up meekly and nodded. "I don't get headaches when I read anymore," he said quietly. "They help a lot." He wished he'd gotten them sooner - he'd thought most of his headaches had been caused by his dust, but some of it might have been his far-sightedness, too. Hell, he actually kinda enjoyed reading now.

Just like each other, guys, he pleaded inwardly. Please, for me. If the two ended up hating each other, he didn't know what he'd do - of course he'd always stay by his Squishy, but he wanted to make up for the lost time with Gryph, too. He'd make it work whatever happened; he was determined to.

"Hey!" he protested at the two additional kisses, his cheeks heating up all over again. "You're gonna suck my face off if you keep doin' that," he teased, tweaking Oriel's nose. Phen sent an apologetic look to Gryphon - he couldn't help it, Oriel was just too damn irresistible and distracting. He snuck in a quick grope of Oriel's rump, out of his friend's sight, as he took off down the hall.

He knew he should be watching the two of them to make sure they weren't giving each other death glares (because of course they were), but he wanted to give them a chance to interact without him in between them. Phoenix didn't know if it would work or not (it probably wouldn't). His ears perked as Oriel spoke up, and he risked a glance back, now seeing the unamused looks they were giving each other. "Guys..." he whined. The two kisses sent Gryphon's way made his lower lip jut out, and he quickly turned forward again, shoulders hunched as he tiredly worked his crutches until they reached the exit of the main building. "I don't know why this has t'be so hard..." he mumbled to himself.

Phoenix shivered as the cold air hit him, and he winced back, before slowly easing out into the freezing air. It was dark out, with some recent snow littering the ground, and Phen wasn't dressed in his multitude of layers like he usually was when he went outside. By the time they were halfway to the dorms, his teeth were chattering and his bare wings were twitching uncomfortably. "I'm g-g-gonna make some t-t-tea or somethin' when we get back t'the room," he stammered, having slowed down enough so he was walking with the other two. "S-s-sound good?"

Gryph did not want to steal Phen away from Oriel.

Well, maybe a little, but that wasn't his main motivation!

Gryph wanted to make sure Phen was happy and safe. If Oriel was capable of doing just that for him, then Gryph would happily stay out of their way. He did want them to be friends at some point, if all went well, so that they could all be happy, as cheesy and sappy as that sounded.

Gryph was glad that there was something him and the older boy could agree on, but if there was going to much else, it would probably continue to be about Phen. Gryph watched Oriel's interactions with Phen and made mental notes. The look he had exchanged, his words... they all seemed very sincere. His heart warmed slightly towards coping with the boy, even though he still felt threatened and slightly frightened by him. He smirked and slid his hands into his pockets as Phen talked about the improvements his visual aids had made on his life. He was most definitely glad that he was happier.

Gryph had to refrain from sighing audibly, this guy definitely liked his PDAs. It was cute, possibly, kind of, but it would get on anyone's nerves after a while. Probably not as short a time as it too Gryph, but he had his obvious reasons. He had done a good job staying quiet, not wanting to interrupt the pair, and also worried that anything he did say would be spiteful, jealous or mean. The situation seemed to be peaking at a high point, he didn't want to ruin it.

Scratch every thought he had had in the last few minutes, this guy was an ass. Gryph looked Oriel and raised his eyebrows when the shorter one licked his lips, he hoped to dear God he would lay off. The kisses came flying his way and he just shook his head in disapproval, trying to casually shake off the offensive nickname that wormed its way into his ears in his slimey tone of voice, "I would love t', but I wouldn't want to upset Phennie." Gryphon and sarcasm didn't usually tie together well, people generally thought he was being serious when he was not, but he didn't care which way it went. He winked at Oriel, sending him a fake smile of apologecticness. He was difficult to be around. He heard Phen moan and snapped out of it. He needed to stay tolerant and tolerable if he wanted to help out on the friendship front as much as possible.

Gryph felt the cold hit him like an upturned table and his wings enveloped him like a shawl, for warmth. As he stepped out into the brisk, biting weather, he saw Phen shivering and felt terrible. He seemed so delicate as his body shook. He caught up to the boy and pulled one of his wings out and wrapped it nearer him. He would've offered his jacket, if he had one, and if it was possible to go on over his broken wings. His wing was a few centimetres away from touching Phen, so any heat it had would radiate onto him, but he would still have the ability to move freely. For it to wrap around well enough, with the distance and taking into account Phen's wings, Gryph had to be a lot closer to Phen than he wanted to be in front of the guy's seemingly attached and protective boyfriend. He just hoped the guy wouldn't snap his wing in half. "Hot drinks do sound good t'me." He said with a smirk. He could really do with a coffee.

"That's good, I was getting sick of your complaining," he teased, sticking out his tongue and pressing his hand over Phoenix's face. Oriel hadn't really had any eye problems himself - actually, he'd never really had them checked…actually he'd never had anyone around who cared enough to get him checked - but he was glad for anything that made it easier for Phoenix to get his life on track. Oriel was definitely proud of how much progress he'd been making.

Oriel was even glad(somewhat) that he was starting to go out and gain his own little collective of friends, even if it did make Oriel nervous and anxious and unnerved that he was spending time with people that were not Oriel.

He knew he should be blessing this friendship as well….but he just couldn't!

Arg! Conflicting thoughts! Conflicting emotions!

Oriel wanted to be the only one who wrapped his arms around Phoenix when he was cold! Unfortunately, Oriel had just as little with him as Phoenix did. It hadn't been that cold when they came to the main building, and now it seemed like another cold snap was on it's way. There was, he decided, nothing he could do. He knew Phoenix couldn't tolerate the cold as well as him(Oriel was, by the way, in just a long sleeved shirt and jeans himself) and Oriel wasn't about to force him to endure just to satisfy his own jealousy.

But he didn't have to be happy about it. "Don't get too cozy there, Dimples." He wasn't going to be subtle about it. Why should he? Phoenix was his boyfriend. Oriel crossed his arms and glared at them as they walked and kept it up until the finally reached the dorms. Oriel held the door open for Phoenix to hobble through then went in right after him. What Gryph was doing, he didn't care. "That way," he pointed in the direction of the elevator.
