Now that Xun had gotten the information he needed from Brooke to find the vampire Kodi and his imprinted pet, the hunter was on the prowl, making his way through town towards the dark, abandoned industrial area where he'd been told the pair was hiding out. He could feel his throat throb with every beat of his heart where Junpei had bit him; his own imprint was driving him onward as the day passed, determined to find the young vampire and the traitorous ex-hunter for his master.
He'd stopped back by his apartment and grabbed his equipment - his swords, a pistol, some wooden stakes, and other materials - but he wasn't planning on doing any killing unless he had to. Junpei had specifically told him to only find the two and keep an eye on them; if he disobeyed orders, he had no doubt the bloodthirsty ex-hunter would drain him without remorse.
The Chinese man was still a little pale and weak from the blood that had already been taken from him. He normally would have put on some extra speed to cross town more quickly, but after some time just walking at a normal pace, he had to stop in the shade at a corner and rest back against the side of a building, panting and perspiring from effort. He wouldn't even stand a chance against a recently-fed vampire in this state. Xun blankly studied the area around him - it was quiet, run-down. He was getting closer, at least, but he still had some distance to cover.
"Ai-ya, I should have eaten something...." he muttered to himself. Xun was normally more prepared than this. This imprinting shit was messing with his head...
