AU: Watchful Eyes(Open, Vampire AU)

"When the cat's away...." Brooke mused with a giggle and a hum as she overlooked the city from atop her high-rise perch. The wind had finally died down with the setting sun. Another phrase came to mind to accompany the first idiom which fell from her lips. The calm before the storm.
This little blunder of that young little hunter was going to turn into a much bigger mess than he thought. Well...it already was that far, wasn't it? And they were just moment's away from settling the score. Brooke could smell it faintly on the wind. There would be bloodshed. There would be tears. There would be sorrow. And she wondered who would come from it alive...or at least as alive as any undead could hope to be.
Unfortunately, it looked like this little kitty wasn't going to get the opportunity to watch from beginning to finish. Duty calls. The lycan could already smell her next customer making their way up to her location on the roof of the building she called her office. What they were there for was....unknown, though she could gather a few guesses. Brooke was well informed, so much that some thought her psychic. She wasn't though, which was unfortunate.
With a smile, Brooke turned on her seat on the large alluminum water tank and peered down at her next visitor. "Yoo-hoo! Up here!" the informant called down with glee. "Looking for me?" She giggled, bringing her knees up to her chest. "What can I do you for?"
