The BasicsName: Akira Koizumi
Nicknames: None
Age: 17
Orientation: Straight
Desired Rank/Job: Student
Powers: Ink Manipulation – The ability to move ink. The ink can be on paper, in a pen, a tattoo, or printed by a printer.
Akira can move ink around on paper. He can reshape the ink into another pictures or words. He also can move ink that is not on paper. He can manipulate the ink inside a pen and make the pen appear to be “dancing” around.
He can also take the ink off and paper and put it on the paper. If there is an ink drawing of dog and Akira went to take it off the paper, the image of the dog won’t come off the paper. The ink will come off the paper like loose ink falling up to Akira’s hand. He can put the ink back onto the paper and then reshape it. The original image of the dog would be lost forever.
If Akira uses his power too much then he will get hands cramps and gets a migraine. His control over the ink will weaken and it will be harder for him to manipulate the ink.
Limitations – Akira cannot change the color of the ink. He cannot create ink. So what amount of ink he has is all the ink he can play with.

Sometimes they would play together and be best friends and there were other times where the two of them would be enemies and couldn’t stand each other.
Akira has a lot of energy. He much rather be outside playing than being stuck in school or doing homework. Akira’s parents wanted him to do well in school. Akira was on the bottom of his class. It was not that he did not understand the material; it was just that he rather spends his time being an out-going guy playing outside.
When Akira was 6 years old his brother, Akio played a nasty trick on him. The two boys were out playing outside. Akio made a deal with Akira. The deal was that Akira brought in the toys and Akio would get Akira ice cream. Akio left Akira to clean up toys. When Akira got inside his ani-san gave him some green ice cream. Akira was told that it was pistachio ice cream. Being the naïve little 7 years old that he was, Akira believed his ani-san. He took a big spoonful of the green ice cream only to find out that it wasn’t ice cream at all. Akio gave Akira wasabi instead.
When Akira was 8 years old, his ani-san, Akio, showed him something. The two boys were in their bedroom that they shared. Akio had Akira draw something on paper using a pen. Akira drew a beautiful sakura tree. Akira was surprised at how well he drew. He did not know that he could draw so well. As he was admiring his drawing, the sakura blossom started to sway like a breeze was moving them. Akira was amazed. Akio could move the picture. Akira drew many ink pictures for Akio to move around on the paper.
Akira wanted to move his pictures, but nothing happened. He’d tried and tried time after time, but his pictures stayed still on the page. He envied his ani-san. Akira spent a lot of his time by himself trying to move the drawings. Akio tried to teacher Akira, but Akira did not have his brother’s ability.
Akira still admired Akio’s ability to move ink. Just a few days later, Akio showed Akira a new trick that he could do. Akio took the black ink from a fountain pen. Akio drew the kanji character for ‘drawing’ on Akira’s left wrist. He was very happy to have a tattoo. And it wasn’t just any tattoo; it was a tattoo that his brother gave him.
A week later someone came to the house. The next thing knew was going on was Akio, age 11, was packing things to go to Eisai gakko. Akira didn’t want his ani-san to leave home. The two boys had promise each other to write.
After Akira finished his second year in middle school, he and his family moved to Boston, Massachusetts because of his father’s work. Akira was excited to move to a new place, but at the same time he was kind of intimated. He thought that his family would be living as four again, but Akio did not come. Akio stayed in Japan at Eisai gakko. The two boys still wrote to each other to stay close.
Akira was going to be starting his third year in middle school, or rather his first year in high school. His life was turned upside down. Everything was new. Everything was different. New language. New culture. The schooling system was totally different. Akira pulled himself together a little bit in school. He had to learn quickly English.
During Akira’s freshmen year in high school was when he discovered that he did have the same ability as Akio. It was a rainy day and Akira was stuck in school. Akira was just doodling in his notebook. He was moving his hand over the drawing and the drawing started to move.
A week after his power manifested a recruiter came to see him. It was then did Akira found out that his parents also had the same ability. He wasn’t scared about have his ability. He was very happy about it. Akira had to leave his parents to attend Hammel in Pilot Ridge, Vermont.
Akira entered Hammel and was amazed. He did not know that there were so many people with special abilities. With his friendly personality he wasn’t afraid of making news friends. Akira adjusted to Hammel quite well. Akira still writes to his brother in Japan.Roleplay ExampleAkira peddled through the streets. The wind pushed his hair back away form his face. It was going to be a beautiful day, but unfortunately Akira had school and cram school today. Akira was enjoying the wind in his hair and the sun’s rays hitting his face. He spotted two boys wearing the same uniform as him. The boys wore a white shirt tucked into black pants. One boy wore a cream color blazer like Akira. The other boy had his navy blue jacket over his cream color blazer. “Ohaiyo!” Akira greeted the boys as he passed.
“Ohaiyo!” The boy with the jacket yelled back.
“Koizumi-san, you really going to school?” The boy in the blazer shouted.
Akira moved to the sidewalk and pulled on his breaks. He looked back with a playful grin. “Who knows? Jaa nee.” Akira peddled off.
Akira locked his bike with the other bikes. He grabbed his school bag off the handle bars and followed the other students into the genkan. He went to his cubby. He took off his outside shoes and put them in the cubby. He putted on his thin black school shoes. Akira walked down the hall and up the stairs to room 2-C.
“Ohaiyo! Koizumi is here!” Akira flamboyantly entered the classroom. What About You?Name: Doro
