In retrospect he shouldn't have been surprised that he was given detention, considering the fact that he knowingly skipped out on curfew. Hell, he hadn't made any qualms about what he'd done. In fact he'd even invited the security guard that found him to sit on down. Which probably wasn't the smartest ideas but since he's already been playing stupid he found no reason why he couldn't do something like that. Except.. The guy could have taken advantage of him. But then again... Demetrius was really too tired to care.
So now the winged boy found himself standing front of the room that would serve as hell for the next few hours. Who'd ever even heard of a three hour detention for your first offense? Demetrius gritted his teeth some and pulled his bag further up on his shoulder. Then he pushed the thick door open with a little bit more effort than he was comfortable admitting he had to exert. Once open he slipped inside casually and looked around with a soft click of his tongue.
Empty. No teacher in sight, no other students. Demetrius had to smile some at his luck and quickly took a seat at the only table available. The rest had been pushed to the edges of the room; either because the teacher wanted to easily keep an eye one them, or because the class earlier was doing some sort of activity. Not that he actually cared. Still smiling, he took a seat furthest from the door, watching wearily as he placed his bag before him.
A few minutes passed and nothing happened, so Demetrius relaxed slightly. Enough so that he felt comfortable opening his insulated lunch bag and pulling out an apple to instantly begin munching on. His crisp green eyes stared at the door as he ate, waiting for some sign that someone would enter.
