Everybody says that girls' restrooms are more disgusting at the end of the day than boys', but Josie wasn't so sure. In her experience, they were just gross in different ways - girls left messes more often, sure. But when a boy wrecked a bathroom, he wrecked it hard.

There was also the matter of the sharpie scribbles Josie ran across when cleaning bathroom stalls. So far in the girls' rooms, she'd seen all levels of name-calling, "Name + Name 4ever"s, and the occasional heavy-handed poetry about black souls and twinkling stars. Boys just drew dicks. So many dicks. She'd found it humorous when she'd first started work at Hammel, but now it was just tiresome.

Well, a paycheck's a paycheck, she reminded herself as she wheeled in her mop bucket and slapped a "Cleaning in Progress" sign up outside. Josie sprayed a rag with a few squirts of sharp-smelling cleaning solution and got to work. At least it was sharpie dicks on the walls and not cherry bombs in the toilets.

A day of classes, a day of making fun. Learning wasn't Lukes's thing, but annoying people was. When he didn't learn, nobody did. Sure, there was detention up the wazoo but so far this place was lacking in the detention department.



He found himself walking down the hall and saw a 'Cleaning in progress' sign on the bathroom door. He cracked a smile and opened the door with a swing. He was sure that an interesting school equaled an interesting janitor.



And he wasn't mistaken. It was a woman, and not a bad looking one at that who was taking a rag to a sharpie party.



'10 outta 10, would bang.'

Luke said as he leaned against the bathroom door.

Josie threw a glance over her shoulder at the sound of the door swinging open, having unfortunately forgotten her headphones at home. Just some kid, probably too lazy to find another bathroom when he'd seen the sign outside. If he even saw it at all, some of these kids couldn't be bothered to read anymore than she had when she was that age. Well, whatever. If he still needed to piss he could take a stall.

Or he could hang out by the door and be a turd, that worked too. Josie paused and peered at him over her shoulder, eyes cold. 

"What, your head against a wall?" she responded. As the result of breaking a sweat while mopping earlier, Josie had undone the top half of her work overalls and tied the sleeves around her waist. The white t-shirt she wore underneath had sleeves short enough to show off several inches of arm tattoo. "Be my guest, kid. But hurry up, I already have enough work to do."

She turned back around and gave her rag another spritz before continuing. Fucking kids. Josie wouldn't be surprised if as soon as she finished and walked out he just tagged the place up again.

'Yes.' Luke said with a smile. 'My head against the wall. Saves you some cleaning if done properly.'

He walked over to where the woman was. She bore a tattoo, which was only really visible due to the fact she had half taken off her overalls and was working in just a white t-shirt. It was quite fun to watch, and Luke found himself almost mesmerized by how the woman moved in. Or rather, how her shirt moved.

He realized this, gasped and stepped back a bit. 'I know what you're trying to do lady.'

Luke shook his head and banged it against a wall as he tried to casually lean up against it. Seemed like he did bang his head on the wall. This chick was psychic.

'I appreciate it, but I think I'm taken.'
'Also. Women. Cleaning. Insert your own joke.' He added as he twirled his hand and rolled his eyes.

Josie smirked at the sound of the teen's head smacking against the stall. Serves you right, clown. Why he was talking about being taken, she didn't know - it's not like he could expect her to care - but if it was true, she felt sorry for whichever poor sap was stuck with him.

"More like insert your head up your ass." Her grip on the spray bottle tightened as she continued to scrub. He was nearly a foot taller than she was, she'd noticed, but a squirt of cleaner to the eyes would hurt like a bitch and give her an opportunity to run. If it came to that. Probably he was just thought he was being funny. "I'm working here, so either do what you came for or beat it."

'If you want me to I'll beat it.'

He grinned and crossed his arms over his chest. 'Although I don't know if I should do that with you here.'

Luke looked around, just to make a point or something and followed by shrugging. 'We're in a bathroom, we have that going right.'

Yup, the joking had gone to a dark place. Though with someone as serious as this woman it was quite hard for Lucas to keep it light and fluffy. He unfolded his arms and scratched the side of his head.

'So who are you anyway?'

"I'm Princess Diana, who the fuck do I look like?" Josie snapped. She stood on her tiptoes to reach a particularly high scribble with her rag. Almost done with this wall, thank god.

"Don't you have some homework to do or something?" she asked him, an edge of irritation in her voice. "Maybe join a club if you have this much free time." Knowing her luck, this kid would pester her until she was finished. He seemed like the type to wait until she mopped and then track dirty shoe prints over everything.

She started to sound irritated. Awesome.

'Homework, lady di? No. Nothing productive will come out of these hands. Right now.'
'A club, lady di? No. I like joking around without people having to need to show up.'

He snickered behind his own hand.

'So, lady di, you like rubbing dicks, do you?'
He almost fell to the floor trying to hold his laughter at this point.

Now, Josie hadn't read the entire employee handbook, but she was pretty sure there was something in it about sexual harassment. Was it still called that if the one doing the harassing was a student instead of employee? She'd have to look it up later. For now she could handle it herself.

"Oh man, you got me," Josie responded, eyes rolling and voice thick with sarcasm. "Shame you're not writing down all these sick burns to save for later. Maybe you should go run off and do that before you forget 'em all."

Finished with the first wall, Josie put away her spray and rag to trade for her mop. Left to her own work, she would have just continued stall by stall, but having a long wooden pole between her and Comedy Central here would be a reassurance.

'That's a no go, miss.' Luke said at the comment about writing down the sick burns.
'First, that would be doing something productive. I don't do productive. You know this.
Second of all, my burns are perfecly health..y..'

He thought about that sentence and shook his head. 'I'm going to take that back.'

He watched the woman grab her mop and almost instantly madfe Lucas drive himself back into the wall. She totally sounded like she wass able to hit him onside the head or something. Though on the other hand, violence on a school.. That was bad, right? So basdically, being an annoyance while on school was kind of okay.

He eased back into his previous position and grinned.
'I see you have a mop.'

'And here I assumed you had a stick up your ass.'

"Stick around long enough and you can have one up yours, too." Not that the threat was needed, apparently, since the kid had already scooted his happy ass up against a wall. Maybe he was starting to take her seriously... Josie could only hope. Still, she was careful not to turn her back completely to him when she got to work mopping the floor.

Ooh, this was getting interesting. The cleaning lady had some serious fangs, this was going to be a fun contact for Lucas to have. 'No need to wait, I tried taking a stick and putting it up my ass once. It didn't take.'

'Though you're more than welcome to try, milady.'
He added as if a taunt as he turned his back to the woman and bent over, tapping himself on the rear.

Josie stopped mopping and stared, one eyebrow cocked.

"...Are you filming this?" she asked suspiciously, glancing around the edges of the ceiling for hidden cameras. This was entirely too bizarre to be real. "Either you're tryin' to get me fired or you just want to throw this shit up on Youtube, and either way I don't appreciate it."

The boy stopped hammering his own ass and turned around to look the janitor in the eyes and shrugged. 'No, I'm not.'

'Unless you want me to. And only the youtube part.' He shook his head with a sigh. 'What motive do you think I have for getting you fired?' He slowly walked over to the woman and willingly risked getting hit in the face or getting a stick up his ass.

'Can't you see I'm having fun?' He said with a smile. 'If I wasn't I'd have gone by now, but I'm not. Your reactions are just that damn epic.'

'That and we need hot people around here. So far there's only me.'
'..and one other girl.'
'Yeah.'

Jesus Christ, did anything this kid said make sense? Josie's hands tensed on the mop handle as the boy slowly approached. Giving him a prod with the wooden end was tempting but would lead to trouble. But if he got much closer he'd be near enough to "accidentally" get spattered with mop water.

"'One other girl'? That why you 'think' you're taken?" Josie snorted with derision. "I oughta find out who she is, see how she feels knowin' you been hasslin' the janitor to get your kicks." She shrugged and leaned against her mop, sneering. "Then again, maybe she's a bitch too. Who knows."
