Backdated to 2nd week in June
Since coming back to the sleepy town of pilot ridge, and effectively Hammel to finish off her four year degree at the University of Vermont, Cat had spent most of her days at the local library in Pilot Ridge. She had quickly established which chair was her and the perfect place to sit and read. She had decided to venture there today, with one of her favorites, The Chronicles of Narnia, specifically the first one, The Magician's Nephew. The book was the first chronically, but the second to last to be published. Cat admired the ability Lewis had to not only write his novels out of order but do it in a way that would entice readers for eras beyond.
Settling down into the comfy chair with The Magician’s Nephew Cat curled her legs up underneath her, and pulled a thermos out of her bag, peppermint tea inside. She looked around to make sure that no one was around before she took her cup and poured some of the tea into it, taking small sips before gently and quietly opening up the book sitting in her lap holding her cup. Now it was time to leisurely read on a day she had no prior commitments and could just relax in her natural habitat.
