Luke had taken to buying cd's as of late, and had bought a portable cd player with it. He'd taken to buying cd's because they had a booklet with them that usually held the lyrics to the songs on the album, and writing them down helped him memorize the words. So he had taken his portable cd player downstair with some earbuds and took two albums (''In flames - A sense of purpose'' and ''Scar Symmetry - The unseen empire'') with him. One for writing down the words to and the other to be able to stay downstairs longer.

He plopped on on the couch in the student lounge and stuck his earbuds into his ears and the plug into the player, he opened the cover and tried to decide which of the two albums to go for first, and as soon as he had decided to go for Scar Symmetry as a first choice he had put the cd in the player and hit ''play''.

The first song took him by surprise but had a long enough intro to find the booklet and open it to find the lyrics and take out a notebook paired with a pen as the vocals began blaring through the earbuds. The sound quality wasn't bad, not at all.

Luke scribbled down the first few words and found himself mouthing the words with the song. But as he finished the first song he realized nature was calling to him and he had to take a small break. It sucked, but it had to be done.

Lizzie was not exactly fond of this whole study room system, but then again it was better than studying in loneliness. Perhaps it was the only way of communication, she thought. She had no friends in this place and observing people, their habits and how they acted was certainly a good way to learn more about pupils.
Her pink hair was in a small pony-tail and she wore a nice light blue summer dress that reached her knees and a pair of sneakers.
Her books were all laid on the table, although she never touched any of them. Honestly she did not even feel like studying after all although currently it was necessary. They had an upcoming test, but all she thought of was sleeping or eating ice cream.

Her attention was brought back to earth when a new face entered the study room and she examined him as well with this sleepy expression that has been on her face for over half an hour now. However it all changed when she saw his CD's and the player. Lizzie was never fond of music that much to buy tapes or download things online only for her own good. But this time she felt that she needed this CD even when she had never even heard about the artist himself. Her eyes went wide and she tilted her head, waiting and speculating how to obtain this thing.

And her opportunity came soon. The boy had to leave for some reasons and Lizzie got up quietly and approached his spot, eyes glistering with sudden anticipation. Why on earth did she need this, she did not know, but she was aware of the fact that if she would not get what she wanted, that would result in something bad and she did not want it.
Her long and skinny fingers picked the circle and she looked at her own reflection, barely recognizing her own face. And then, like she had approached his place, she retreated and sat behind her table and hid the cd behind the book and turned it once clock-wise and then countering the movement. She felt satisfied.

The second Luke came back from his visit to the bathroom he had noticed something was wrong. He didn't know what just yet, but something was off. He begaqn to scan the room for irregularities but came up with squat and just shrugged it off as a feeling, it was nothing to be concerned about he figured, it was best if he just stopped panicking about nothing and went back to his notes on the music.

As he got back to his luckily still unmanned couch and plopped down, instantly grabbing his earbuds when that strange feeling from before, the one that told him something was off, was back. He tried to shrug it off but caught himself accounting for whatever he had brought. Pen. Check. Paper. Check. CD player. Check. Music. Check. Second cd. Not check. Booklet. Check.

He halted momentarily as his finger hovered above the play button. Did he miss a cd? He looked around for a moment as if the cd had sprouted legs all of a sudden and had walked off before finally getting to the conclusion someone might have taken it. Who would do such a thing? Who could even do such a thing without him noticing? He glanced around the room quickly and found that not a lot of people were occupying the lounge at the time, there really only was this pink haired girl and she didn't look capable of something like that. But then again, Luke knew looks could be deceiving so he slowly walked over to the girl.

Were this some other time he would have fawned over her hair, but not now. A cd was missing, it was a state of emergency.

''Say, pinky.'' He addressed the girl. ''You haven't seen my cd, right?''
''About yay high, round, awesome. Have ya seen it?''
