General Appearance: Daniel stands at 5’5”. He has round, flat-ish face with brown almond shaped eyes. His brown hair is parted on his right side and he fluffs up his hair. Daniel has good posture that he learned from his grandmother.

Outside the classroom, Dan wears casual cloths. He wears t-shirts, jeans, or whatever he finds comfortable. In his apartment, he can be found bumming around in his underwear and a tank top.

In the classroom, the left-handed teacher is found wearing a button down shirt that is tucked into his slacks. Sometimes Mr. Taylor has a tie on.
Personality: Daniel is a good guy. He has a warm and kind heart. Some people many take Danni as a goody two shoes, but he’s not. Yes, Danni likes to help other people. Do a random act of kindness here and there, but he is nowhere near being a sticky sweet goody two shoes. Daniel knows when to put his foot down and say no to people when they try to take advantage of Danni’s kindness. When it comes to dealing with people he dislikes Danni will kill them with kindness. It is rare for Danni to get angry. People are surprise to see Daniel angry because it doesn’t happen often. It takes a lot to get Daniel mad.

He has a strong sense of family. Dan is protective of his family. So don’t be messing with his family or you will have to deal with Daniel. Because of his strong sense of family, Daniel has developed respect for his elders. Whether it is his own grandparents or elders he met while out, Dan respect them greatly. Because of his family history and the couple relationships he’s been in, Daniel is guarded about entering other relationship. He is also cautious about befriending people because he doesn’t want that person turn their back to Dan and end up hurting him.

As a teacher – Mr. Taylor is one of those favorite teachers. He is patience and wants his students to succeed. He is willing to sit down and work with students. Mr. Taylor wants his students to improve and feel confident in themselves and their work. If a student acts out or is not doing their work, Mr. Taylor isn’t afraid to put his foot down. Mr. Taylor will become strict. If he had to he will give out detention to those who deserves it.

History

Daniel George Taylor grew up with his dad and grandparents. Danni never knew his mother because she left him and his dad when he was an infant. When Daniel was born, his dad, Ken, was 19, and his mother, Boa, was 17. Boa couldn’t deal with the responsibility of taking care of a baby and attending high school. With the support from his parents, Ken was able to raise and take care of his son.

Daniel knew that he was different from the other students in school. Being a little kid in elementary school he couldn’t put his finger on it. When Danni was in sixth grade he figured out what mad him different. He didn’t have a mother. All his friends had a mom, but he didn’t. It was this point did Dan start questioning his family about his mother. His family would answer his questions for they felt that Dan was old enough to know the truth.

During freshman year of high school, Danni was in his first relationship with a girl. It wasn’t anything spectacular. It was simply a “I’m in love” high school relationship. The relationship lasted for about three months. It wasn’t a total heartbreak for Danni, but it did hurt when she ended the relationship. Sophomore year Dan finally found out that his grandfather, George, was a meta.

Dan always knew something was weird about his grandfather ever since middle school. Dan would look at George who was one side of the room. Danni would look away for a slip second and then back at George who was on the other side of the room. George was meta with super speed. George wanted to tell Danni about himself, but he wanted to wait for Danni to come to him. Plus George had fun playing mind games with his grandson.

George had told his grandson many different stories about Hammel. Dan would have never believed his George if Dan didn’t find out his grandfather kept his secret. Daniel was fascinated with the stories. Danni knew that he wanted to a writing teacher since middle school. After hearing the wild stories about Hammel, Dan set his heart on teaching at the Hammel Institute even though he wasn’t a meta.

After graduating from high school, Daniel went to University of Vermont. During his college years Dan had his first relationship with a guy. During the day the two were just friends, roommates, studying buddies. There was no romantic relationship during the day. At night the two became a little more involved with one another. To put things simply they were sleeping buddies. But their relationship never became anything more.

After four years at university Danni had his bachelor degree and his teaching license. Daniel applied at Hammel. When his application was accepted, Dan moved from his home in Burlington, Vermont, to Pilot Ridge, Vermont. Dan got himself an apartment. Feeling lonely at his apartment, Danny got himself a companion. Pookie came home with Daniel from Strickland Sanctuary.

Daniel and Pookie are currently living happily together.
