Powers: Plant manipulation and Photosythesis
Adi can manipulate plant life, as well as create his own energy through photosynthesis. Overuse of plant manipulation can cause Adi to become dehydrated and fatigued. Because of his ability to draw energy from the Sun, Adi does not need to eat as much as the normal individual, but staying hydrated can become a challenge with both of his powers. Adi is often in a bad mood on overcast days, as he lacks his usual amount of energy when there is no sun. While Adi can manipulate flowers and green plants (including most garden plants and vegetables), but his power does not have an effect on fungi, algae, or trees. The more complex or large the plant he manipulates, the more energy is used. If Adi uses his power to much in a short period of time he can dehydrate or exhaust himself. Adi cannot bring back a plant that is completely dead, but can revive plants that are unhealthy or dying -- this takes much more energy than a manipulation for growth, however.

General Appearance: Adi is a self-proclaimed "Greek God" and likes to keep himself looking like such. He keeps his hair neat and his skin clear. He works out regularly to keep a fit physique. He dresses as expensively as his limited budget allows, opting for collared shirts and ties during work, and only ever wearing sneakers to work out in. His three tattoos are always covered for work. At home he often wears v-neck tees and nice, heavy jeans. Adi has light to dark brown hair (varies with season) and brown eyes. He stands about 5'11"
Personality: Adi is self-assured, and somewhat conceited. He knows he looks good, and he isn't afraid to admit it. He believes he is a gift sent from the heavens and carries himself as such. Adi is bad at admitting he is wrong and can be quite hot-headed when it comes to petty arguments and disagreements. He is a huge flirt, and finds it hard to believe that a woman would actually decline an offer for him to buy her dinner. These traits all stem from his parents convincing Adi he is god-like, and treating him as if he were better than any other little boy when he was younger. Despite all his negative traits, his Greek heritage and tight-knit family also blessed Adi with some desirable traits as well. Adi is extremely passionate. He never does anything halfheartedly, and he is fiercely loyal to friends and family. He believes in doing what is right or what is best for another - even if that means giving some 'tough love'. Adi believes you cannot achieve anything without hard work which is reflected in the Greek phrase he had tattooed on his bicep. He uses both of these traits in his training. Many of his trainees believe he is too tough at first, but come to learn that Adi is simply trying to make them the best they can be.
Deep down Adi is insecure and second guesses himself a lot, but he likes the world to believe he has everything under control and is completely happy with his life and his choices. He is pretty good at convincing himself he is happy, even, and often lives in a state of denial when bad things happen to him.

History
Adonis Voskopoulos was born to Gregorios and Diona in Míkonos Greece, an island city fairly well off of mainland Greece. Adi had a fairly uneventful childhood. He stayed with his parents and older sister in Greece until he was 10, when economic downturn and his father's dream for a more successful and stable life led the family to the United States. They settled just west of New York City where his parents opened a Greek restaurant which remains popular to this day.
Adi never found himself to be anything special as a kid, especially in the shadow of his beautiful, smart elder sister. Adi wasn't particularly smart, or good at sports, or art, or anything at the time. Though his outlook on himself changed drastically when he manifested at age 14. When he first began manipulating his parent's home garden, Gregorios proclaimed that Adi must truly be a gift from the gods. Even though the kind recruiters from Hammel came around a couple days after Adi started to make the backyard plants grow wildly and gave the family a more reasonable explanation, this did not stop Adi's parents (or him) from beginning to look at him as if he were sent directly from the heavens.
Though his grades were mediocre at best, Adi graduated on time and attended Rutgers University for education after a year at Greenview community college so he could have an extra year of training at Hammel. He found himself becoming more physical due to the excess energy his ability provided him, and took better care of his skin, his hair, and his style. When Adi first moved back to Vermont to be a trainer at Hammel, he met Vivian. They had a rocky relationship, but both were determined to make something work out . When Viv announced her pregnancy about a year later, Adi proposed on the spot. This was certainly not the case, as the couple fought ferociously throughout the pregnancy, as well as directly after.
Before Adi's daughter - Maddie - even turned one, the couple called off the engagement, and Vivian moved to New York to be closer to her parents so they could help raise the child. Due to this move, Adi doesn't see his daughter often. He does not really know how to be a father, and believes that Viv taking full custody of Maddie was the best thing, and therefore does not dwell on the situation too much.
These days Adi trains at Hammel, focusing in manipulation powers as well as any power involving energy in any form. He enjoys dating and is always flirting with new women.
