The BasicsName: Kimi, Tachibana
Nicknames: Not unless someone gives her one
Age: Sixteen (May 29th)
Orientation: Heterosexual
Desired Rank/Job: Student
Powers: Invisibility - able to turn invisible at will (and accidentally, currently). The effect should be passed onto any clothing she is wearing, or it will once she has trained more to make this happen. Currently, she is more likely to turn invisible by herself and become a vessel of floating clothes. Side effects include being more easily ignored and unnoticeable, as well as light sensitivity, especially when invisible, causing her to burn easily. She needs to wear a lot of sun cream. She also encounters fatigue after using her ability for a considerable amount of time.

Any Piercings? None

Any Scars? A tiny one on her abdomen from an appendectomy (keyhole surgery)
General Appearance: It's not just Kimi's ability that makes her less noticeable. The girl stands at a short height of 4'11", and still might have a little more to grow, but she'll probably never make it past 5'2". The girl is petite and small, with a little muscle from the sports she enjoys partaking in, but otherwise, her structure is a delicate one. She won't usually be seen making large gestures or huge expressions, unless she's acting, but otherwise her appearance remains rather reserved. She likes wearing baggy jumpers and comfortable clothes most days, but edges on the side of looking cuter, usually wearing a bow somewhere. She would wear heels to account for her height if she didn't fall over every time she tried to walk - she's been working on that, though, and can manage to comfortably walk in two inch heels, at most, so far. When she wants to look a little nicer, she'll opt for dresses and skirts, occasionally slightly frilly. They make her feel like a doll, especially when people say she looks that way, a compliment she has received a number of the times in the past, due to her clear complexion and smaller features.
Personality: Kimi is a person filled with ideas, thoughts and speculations. However, she also very talented in the art of being quiet, so these thoughts aren’t often heard, except by those who know her well. Studious at heart, she wants to perform well and succeed as much as possible, but has learned that work and play have a balance. Keeping that balance is sometimes a struggle, but she is learning. Her’s is a mind full of hope and optimism, but she does have a flavour for reality and understanding that some things aren’t meant to be. She would love to believe in things like happily-ever-afters and love-at-first-sights, but they just don’t seem likely. She is a sweet and kind person, more likely to speak up for the sake of someone else than for herself. Even though she may be easily overlooked or ignored, she is bright and if you know her, she is wise for her age, and isn’t adverse to giving advice when asked for it.
Maybe one of her biggest flaws is her lack of confidence. It could be one of her biggest barriers that keeps her from learning even more and developing generally as a person. Some of this stems from her invisibility, and its effects, but also from the fact she is naturally quite shy and demure. She generally keeps to herself, and she feels like if you aren’t outgoing, people won’t like you as much, which is where her lessened confidence may have also come from. She struggles to be extroverted and open and loud, because it’s not in her nature. She can be too lenient to the whims of others, and usually keeps quiet when upset about something, choosing more to dwell on it than share her feelings.Your VicesLikes:

Secret: Her yo-yoing talent isn’t exactly something she shares about, and neither is her singing ability. Also, when she can build the confidence, she wants to try and spy on people in her invisible state to find out what they think of her. I mean, wouldn’t you want to know?Family TiesHistoryKimi was born in Osaka, Japan and has lived there her whole life. She always grew up a shy little creature, and felt more connected to any pets or animals than the people around her. That didn’t make her rude though, and she flourished as a wonderful daughter, polite and sweet and gentle to anyone she came into contact with, even if she didn’t always get the same response in return. She was pushed (gently) to be successful, but her academic success was more due to her own want to expand her knowledge on the world and everything in it. A strategic mind, she quietly sat near the top of most of her classes, only kept from the top occasionally by being too quiet, but that was how she worked best. She loved her parents dearly and they loved her the same. At the age of twelve, she suddenly disappeared in the middle of an lesson when asked to answer a question, just completely out of sight. She reappeared a minute or so later, and was picked up by recruiters to go to Eisai Gakko a few days later, with the best wishes from her family. She didn’t feel like she was struggling, maybe she felt a little stressed, but she felt okay. However, her parents weren’t convinced that she was doing alright. Kimi was feeling ill a lot more often than usual, and had to work through migraines and occasionally nausea to keep her work at the same level. A little over a year after joining Eisai Gakko, her parents had her transferred to where they believed she would thrive more – the Hammel Institute. The first year or so there was also a struggle, but mainly because of the language barrier. Kimi had been learning English since being ten years old, but it was still very difficult to compute everything said to her. As the years have gone on, she has slowly improved, but still struggles occasionally, and still finds it a lot easier to communicate in Japanese. As her communication skills improved, bit by bit, she also managed to make a few friends, though she still mainly keeps to herself, like she did back in Japan. She speaks to her parents on a regular basis. Currently, she is flourishing in her studies, and in her training, but has a good amount of time around her studying and revision to have fun and relax when she wants. She has joined a number of clubs at Hammel, and runs on a regular basis now to keep her stress levels down.Roleplay Example*crunch* owchWhat About You?Name: Apple
