Bad Influences Have More Fun

Tonight was not your average night. 

Well, in most ways it was. Zo was at a party in town, which is how she spent most nights. What was special was that she had dragged along Serena. She wouldn't call them friends - that would implied she cared you see - but they got along well enough and they agreed that love wasn't real. That was more in common than she had with most Hammel students. 

Serena however still played by the rules. Which just made it all too tempting to try and corrupt her. Besides, what was the harm in a little fun?

Convincing her to come had been easy enough. But getting her to stay... that would be the challenge. One Zo would gladly accept though. It was even enough that she was planning to drink in moderation for once, and that was staying something. Besides, since she and Jen had had their falling out... well, she missed having someone to get in trouble with. If she could succeed in corrupting Serena... that just might change. The key, she figured, was distracting her from the fact that curfew was approaching. If she could keep her from noticing the time until it was too late, she had better odds of convincing her to just stay out longer. 

"Come on," she said, shouting over the music as she turned towards the silver haired girl. "Let's go dance!" She grabbed Serena's wrist, tugging her towards the crowd. If she could just get the other girl having fun, getting her to stay would be easy enough.

Adrenaline rushed through Serena like she didn't know was possible. For a massive extrovert like her, she absolutely loved the throngs of people, male and female, all in their teens or twenties. Granted, she was pretty sure she couldn't pick out if someone was any older because they'd be lost in the crowd...which is what she was going to be soon if she didn't stay near Zo.

Zo was a new friend, and while she was a bit more unorthodox than most she knew, Serena had been friends with much worse at Kocher. When Serena swore, she swore in French, German, or Russian, never even reaching English. And she certainly didn't learn those words out of curiosity.

Curfew was coming soon, so Serena didn't intend to stay too long, no matter how fun it was. She didn't want to get in trouble in her first couple of weeks there. She tried to convey that to Zo on the way here, but was met with the equivalent of 'Don't worry about it'. Whether she meant don't worry about breaking curfew; or don't worry, we'll be back on time, Serena hadn't quite determined.

Zo shouted something to her about dancing, and Serena felt her wrist being pulled. This was Serena's first party short of school dances (and those were much more appropriate then whatever the hell she was seeing right now), and she could do nothing but laugh as she and Zo were soon in the middle of dancing bodies. Or gracefully falling bodies, in some cases.

She felt a little out of place for a moment, but soon was able to start dancing and moving along to the excessively loud music. She was trying to just focus on Zo, because she didn't want to lose sight of her only friend in this swarm, but she couldn't help but notice more than one guy nod or wink toward her. Serena was dressed fairly mildly by her own standards. Her hair was down and well-brushed, she was wearing the most makeup she'd really allow herself to, but otherwise, she was wearing her short-sleeved brown jacket over a blue t-shirt and jeans, with black boots. She was pretty sure she looked good; but she had seen much more revealing outfits than hers.

At no point did it ever occur to the dancing teenager that her hair kinda made her stand out (in positive and negative ways), especially since it occasionally picked up little bits of color from any lights in the room.

It didn't take a genius to notice the way that Serena thrived off the energy of all those around her. Perhaps she was a bit hesitant to give into that feeling still, but Zo had no doubt that given a little time, she could unleash her new friend's wild side.

Serena had insisted she wanted to avoid getting into trouble so early on, and that she had no intention of staying past curfew. Zo had just brushed her off, telling her not to worry so much. Hopefully, she had wrongly assumed that meant that Zo intended to obey the rules. She had no intentions of getting caught, but that was an entirely different matter.

The best way to go about this was to just dive in headfirst. If she got overwhelmed by all the excitement, it would be easier for her to lose track of time and just enjoy herself. That was Zo's goal for the night. Corruption wasn't an overnight process after all - it took time and planning. It was the perfect challenge for the rebellious senior.

Pulling Serena onto the dance floor was easy enough, and Zo was grateful that the other girl didn't fight her on it. While her new friend hesitated, Zo eagerly surrendered to the music, her body moving to the beat and drawing more than a few eyes when paired with her attire. She had worn a ripped up black T-shirt and her black studded mini-skirt paired with fishnet tights and her black platform boots. The outfit was perfectly designed to show of her curves and get her all the attention she craved. Her black hair was worn down - a mixture of dark green and violet streaks peaking through her curls. Aside from a smokey eye and some lipgloss, her makeup was fairly minimal. It was obvious she was no stranger to these sort of parties.

While her friend was dressed down a bit more, there was no doubt that she was still a head-turner - especially considering her silver hair. Of course, hanging with Zo didn't hurt either.

It was at this point that something - or someone rather - caught Zo's attention and made her smirk a bit as she realized she could put her plan into motion. After all, one thing she knew about her friend was that she definitely enjoyed guys and flirting. She leaned forward so she could talk into her friend's ear over the loud music. "You know half the guys in here are staring at us," she said with a confident smirk. "I bet if we amp up our dance moves a bit, they'll be falling over themselves to flirt with us," she added. "What do you say? Should we give them a show?"

The amount of energy around her (and within her) made it very easy for Serena to start flowing into the music that was blasting and pulsing through the space. She moved a bit with it, and as the people around her would move faster or slower (and the music as well), she found her breathing speeding up or slowing down at fast rates. This type of experience was both exhilarating and near overwhelming for her. She could quite literally be the last person dancing here with very little effort on her part.

On the dance floor, Serena let herself get into the music more and spent less time focusing on Zo. She had a general idea of where the other girl was, and Serena certainly didn't need a chaperone...(If anything, Zo needed one in Serena's opinion). She closed her eyes and let herself bleed a bit more of her European experience into her dancing. A bit more swaying, a bit more arm movement...

Though she wasn't really thinking about it, at least a few people would be noticing Serena, and she'd probably be surprised at the number of eyes on her had she had her own open to see them.

Up until this point, her jacket had been zipped for the lower half of it. Serena was getting annoyed by how much it was restricting her movement. She opened her eyes and looked down for a just a moment to undo the strap and button holding it together and sent her arms up a bit higher than they had been, finally free to move.

At that moment, Zo had caught her attention again and had leaned into her. She wanted to give the guys around them a show. Serena wasn't quite sure what to do. She had given guys shows plenty of times in the privacy of her room at Kocher, she was quite good at it as far as she knew, but most of that was hardly appropriate here right now. (And required less garments than she currently had on her body; but she wasn't going to share that)

It was at this time that she was deciding her response that she looked around and noticed that Zo was right, there were many eyes on them. The one thing that Serena had seemed to miss most since arriving at Hammel was the male attention (being new seemed to offset being attractive it seemed to Serena or maybe it was American awkwardness about sex). Serena replied to Zo, "What do you have in mind?"

As soon as Serena had said 'mind', her arms were down at her waist, her hands having pulled the part of her shirt still tucked into her pants off and was sliding the fabric up and down, giving brief glimpses of her bare waist to anyone in front view of her.
